Pros: 1.) Mutton momo (as we only get chicken momo everywhere)
2.) Quality of momo is good
3.) Price is fair
4.) Chutney I found to be perfect because I like spicy food
Cons: 1.) The area wasn't that clean
2.) You can't park your car easily. In case you find a place, first you would need to pay a parking charge then climb down to a narrow street to get these momos.
We tried the mutton momos and they tasted very fresh. Should try. They do not have chicken momos.

Superb mutton momos...I had first in 2014 I guess....and now I got a chance to revisit nainital and this momo joint. Last time I think the travellers load was less so got really juicy soft last tray covered with all the drippings of the trays above it. And was so overwhelmed of the taste of those momos. This time it was a rush hour still the momos had same taste but a little more time....but still sonar momos and chutny was yummy.....

At Nainital-Bhutia Tibetan market is the place wherein a lane is the age-old Sonam Momos. This old momos shop is quite popular and tourists who like momos do visit the lane to enjoy momos in the lane, even though the area is congested and the feel steam of momos is everywhere. As always I had the Mutton Momos which are their trademark USP dish
Sonam Fast Food is a very famous food joint which is popular for its momos (Veg, Chicken and Mutton) and Noodles (Veg., Chicken, etc). I ordered Vegetable Momos there, you can eat there and can also take parcel from the shop. I prefer the take away more and eat it on sitting on benches near the Nainital lake with a serene view and an awesome taste. Loved the Veg. Noodles also. Although, momos are everywhere in Nainital, but it's worth to have from there. The size of the momos was large as well. It was a nice experience having this delicacy.
A small stall in the middle of tibetian market alley. Delicious juicy momos are served. The service is fairly quick. There is no place to sit or keep the food. Customers usually stand and eat and get going. A must try if you are ever in Tibetian market.

Desi spicy hot veg Momos!! A must go to place in Nainital. Located at the end of the Tibetan Market near to Naina Devi Maa Temple. They have a separate shop for Non-veg Momos on the opposite side. Very small sitting space, so one has to stand and eat. But who cares... they are just yummmm!!!
Typical street food vendor. Focused on good food and service. Atmosphere comes from surrounding, they don't focus on that. Had dry mutton thupka. Very flavourful mix of ground mutton, noodles. Mutton had full flavour and easy to eat not chewy at all.
