This place is inside a chowk next to chowpatty street food. You may have to ask at chowpatty for directions This place was earlier called bombay Wala sanitary The unassuming hotel (stay facilities available) has dining area at ground floor. The place is not well maintained and looks rustic But food is awesome Dal bati 1 portion can serve 2 or 3. Comes with ghee. (Ask for gud jaggery) and dal and chatni 5 🌟 Onion Rava dosa was crispy tasty & couldn’t get better again a 5 🌟 Roti dal and sabji were up to the mark It’s known for thali but I didn’t try that U May take wet tissues to clean ur own plates as I was skeptical about cleanliness (not horrible but not the best) They serve fast. They serve with a smile. AC was not switched on Wash basins could be cleaner Menu has punjabi rajasthani Gujarat and South Indian options Expect waiting in peak season and peak hours as this is one of the most popular restaurants near the mandir.

Best Gujarati thali in nathdwara. Without onion garlic. Best for veg satvik food. Very light and reasonably priced. I also got some stuffed paranthas packed for evening dinner during way back. It was also amazing. Much better than most of dining places here. They also have ala carte options, but I haven’t tried ever.

The taste is amazing with reasonable price. Ordered panner butter masala which was delicious and tawa butter roti was soft and full of butter. Also ordered daal bati which was amazing served with ghee and garlic chutney. A must visit place after darshan.

Always a go-to place for some khichadi-kadhi (comfort food) after a long day. Also, to make a note, they have a variety of options available for lunch & dinner including south indian, gujarati and punjabi cuisine.

The food in this restaurant is very delicious. The service is very good. The owner Ishwarbhai who manages the restaurant is very friendly and there is a home like atmosphere in the restaurant.

Maharaja Dining Hall, a highly renowned establishment in Nathdwara, is a favorite among tourists. Conveniently located in the market area, it enjoys easy accessibility from all corners of the city. The popularity of this restaurant is evident from the typical waiting time of 10-15 minutes, indicating its widespread appeal. One of the notable aspects of Maharaja Dining Hall is its extensive menu, offering a wide range of cuisines such as Gujarati, Punjabi, and South Indian delicacies. The food surpasses the basic standards set in Nathdwara. A standout feature of this dining experience is the lightning-fast service. Orders are efficiently delivered to the table within a remarkable 5-minute timeframe, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to efficiency. However, it is important to note that the ambiance of Maharaja Dining Hall falls short. The modestly sized establishment features basic tables and cutlery, resulting in a somewhat congested walking area due to the numerous tables. Consequently, while it remains an excellent choice for satisfying one's culinary cravings, it may not be the ideal setting for a leisurely or intimate dining experience with family. Taking into consideration the standards set in Nathdwara, I would rate Maharaja Dining Hall as 4 out of 5. However, if the restaurant were located in my hometown, I would provide a slightly lower rating of 2.5 out of 5 due to the limitations in ambiance

Canteen serving authentic Indian food especially Gujarati food. Very efficient service. Quite popular so there may be a wait to get seated and may have to share a table with another family

Maharaja poonam A/C restaurant and dinning hall is situated in New Cottage, Nathdwara, Rajasthan. It serves Gujarati Thali in lunch time and app. Cost per thali is Rs. 180. Quality of food of lunch time is nice. While there is a menu system in Dinner time. In peak time one can has to face waiting. One thing i observed there that no credit and debit card is accepted, only cash. Staff can understand and speak Gujarati also.
