This is the best place to get authentic asian food. Definitely order a portion of Asian greens with whatever you order. It is so light and full of flavor. I love this place.
Was looking for a good Asian restaurant nearby. And then just remembered, we have one very near to our home. Mama Pondo Asian Cafe - Fatty Momo's. Name changed though. Coming to food, it was awesome. Double Pan Fried Veg noodles & Mama's Favourite Grilled Chicken. They served complimentary welcome drink and candy which is just awesome. And very courteous staff and manager.
Polite and courteous staff , calm and soothing ambience . Food is sumptous . Ordered a soup, dimsum and chicken on skewers . Everything was well on point. Had great dinner :)
Mama Pondo is more like a restaurant than cafe , located on the Palm Beach Road . Ambience is really good and serene , you will get a calm feeling looking at the interiors and the ambience . The staff is very cooperative.
We were greeted by a welcome drink called Amuse Bouche , different yet refreshing taste.
Cantonese Chicken open Dimsums: A very well prepared delicacy , the outer cover had a very good texture , just like a normal dimsum but the minced chicken inside was cooked just right with the perfect ingredients .
Presentation was also nice
Pondo's Favourite Chilli Chicken : A MUST TRY . A very good starter , with no ingredient overpowering . A perfect chilli chicken . I recommend you all to try this.
Veg Hakka Noodles : Decent preparation and tastes good
The black pepper sauce provided by them was also something unique and it goes well with dimsums

Great place for family dinners or casually dinner with friends . The food tasted amazing and the quantity was not compromised.
It’s one of the nice continental food restaurant in Navi Mumbai with decent staff and excellent food quality.

A small asian outlet, with extremely cosy ambience, overtly humble staff and scrumptious food.
On arrival they offer a complimentary drink/dish, I have no idea what it is called but... It was amaazzzziiinnng, with a very steamy presentation. We ordered Pondo belly, vegetable mee goreng, and tofu mountain chilly bao.
The pondo belly extremely crunchy and soft, with a well balanced sweet and spicy taste, which absolutely melts as soon as it hits the mouth. The vegetable mee goreng noodles were a good blend of tranditional asian flavors with a modern touch. The bao were a little disappointing though. On a full tummy and a good lingering taste on the tongue, I would say it is one of the best asian spots in town.
Really good place. Authentic place for oriental good. The service is great too - staff suggests well. We enjoyed everything we ordered - soups, bao, starters, prawn curry. Portions can be a little better where rice is served along with gravy. Overall, would recommend it to anyone looking for good oriental food in Navi Mumbai. Also location is convenient from perspective of access and parking.

A small place tucked along the service road on Palm Beach Road near Nerul. Such a lovely place. Very friendly staff, delicious food and novel palette cleansers make it a delightful experience. Be here with family or friends the place has the right vibes and food on point. We totally loved the roasted chicken bao and chicken basil dumplings. If they continue the way they do, I doubt you will walk out with a less than memorable experience. ❤️

There are very few Good Asian dining places that you may find in new bombay and Mama Pondo is definitely a suprise element to this list as it really moves away from the Hakka noodles zone. It shows the evolving food scenario in this side of the world.
Mama Pondo is a fine dine restraunt located in the plush locality of Palm Beach road, Nerul. They serve an exquisite range of asain food including dumplings, Baos, Khawusey, pad thai noodles etc.etc..
1) Ambience
The place has a very calm and relaxing interiors, whike being extremely spacious.
2) Drinks -
Contrary to the food, I did not find a great drinks menu. What I had was nice in its way, but not exquisite..

The food was great. They started off the course with a palate cleanser called "Amush bush". This was a small short, infused with lemon grass extract, curd. Etc etc. Loved it.
Since its Asian cooking it is paramount that fresh ingredients are used or it will take the dish to an opposite direction. Good job here 👍👍👍.

Ambience
In any restaurant , apart from food the ambience plays a very important role in enhancing the overall experience of the customer.
Right from the exteriors mama pondo nails it with its very comforting vibe and this extends well into the interiors too. The first glance at the outlet makes it look like an authentic Chinese restaurant which it is!
Now, let us elaborate on what we mean by comfortable vibe,
Lighting - It was a quite pleasant, neither too dim nor too bright which sets the mood right.
Design - The design language of yellow and black is evident in every element of the restaurant, starting from tea coasters, salt and pepper shakers, plates, cloth napkin etc along with the interiors. The outlet itself is very small, but they have managed to make it look spacious with the use of intelligent design decisions for example, there is a small wall that comes down the ceiling that they have used as a projector screen for telecasting sports etc. The tables are placed in such a way that it makes it easier for people to move around effortlessly.
Staff - We felt that they were very informative,courteous, responsive and not too intruding.
They were able to respond to every query we had about the dish.
What stood out in the overall experience was, few complimentary dishes that took us by surprise.
To conclude it all the bill came in a teeny tiny scooter.
As a precaution do carry cash just in case, because sometimes there’s a problem with the card payment.

Really good Chinese food. One would always want to go back there for more. Need to wait to be seated at times, especially in the evenings due to the high demand. But the food is worth the wait. Service is really good and small complimentary dishes are served intermittently such as sorbets between the courses.

This place is absolutely beautiful This place is basically opened for "oriental cuisine" food lovers also they serve best Chinese food too 😍 This restaurant is good in all the departments Food, Service,ambience also staff members are polite and good. And the best part is they welcome you with refreshing shots of mint and panipuri masala flavoured rest everything is hygienic and clean

On a Rainy Cold Noon all I wanted was Sprinkle of Some Love but since I was Stuck in Ofc I decided to order in some comfort food. Just Loved the Chicken Broth Soup and Dimsum. It was Absolute Divine. Apart from Food the Additional Points goes fir its awesome attention to packing love ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

The Soup was nice with coconut base and had some sweet and spicy taste.
The Crispy Corn Chilli pepper was the surprise hit, The corn was crisp mixed with onion and tamato.
The chicken in Crispy Chicken was crisp from the outside and very tender from the inside plus the sauteed sauce tastes amazing.
The Service was pretty fast and the waiter were very attentive.

Clean, spacious and no fuss ambience. Food tastes great, portions are good. Not to forget the complimentary surprise at the beginning if the meal. Easy on the pocket too.

They also serve a unique complimentary drink that is cooled using dry ice. Their decor and food together makes them a must-try place. Their food service is decent and their portions are also adequate.
