Perfect place for seafood lovers ... Surmai fry is recommended. Prawns masala is so good ,it is not spicy and is very tasty. Paya soup is a must try. Chawal bhakri is so soft. And solkadi is recommended! Ambience is good. The staff is polite and patient.

The place serves the best authentic Malvani Thalis. The ambience and service is also good. They also have a party table which is suitable for 8-10 people at a time. I recommend mostly visiting during lunch and dinner hours. In frame: Special Chicken Thali Pomfret Fry Thali Chicken Crispy Dry You can also opt for Desi Chinese which is also better in taste. Only the lacking point, according to me, is a little high price for the thalis as per the quantity. However, it was overall a good experience.

The atmosphere was really cozy and warm. The service was excellent and polite. Overall a really good experience with Konkan swad restro - a must visit for all konkani food lovers.

Visited Konkan Swad almost four years of its opening and what a great experience!! We ordered Chicken, Mutton and Fish thaali, every item in every dish was amazing! Delicious malavani thali ! If you want to have taste of malvan, do visit this place. They also have other cuisine like Chinese and Indian but i recommend only malavani food.

Today we had got to there for Lunch the taste was absolutely amazing and the service was too good and on time they served us extra free solkadi and the atmosphere here was also too good as it is designed with a mixture of modern and konkan. The Quality of the food is amazing and the prices are also good. The Quantity the give is the best compared to others.

Being a malvani myself we always used to prepare malvani food at our home. The taste has been replicated to perfection by the restaurant. During weekends just ensure that you reach as early as possible or else be ready to wait for minimum 20-30 mins. Almost all the dishes we ordered were very well prepared. The service part is something that can be upped. It was actually an error on my part to ask whether gajar halwa can be served and the bit-irritated waiter responded that how can I serve something that is a seasonal dish. As a foodie I have been to quite a lot of restaurants and I feel that the waiter could had been a bit polite in responding. Maybe he was quite tied up with the people inside the restaurants and hence a bit stressed. Something that can be excused.

Went with my family last weekend. The food was really tasty there were soo many options and really hard to choose. So we end up trying masala papad , Kotimbir vadi, surmai fry as starter. And for main course we had SURMAI THALI and PAPLET THALI .

This used to be Kokan Swad but is now RatnaKokan. Name change has definitely changed food for the worse. Stuffed bombil had raw flesh near the middle bone. When I complained they replaced but again got a bite of raw flesh near d bone which I spat out but didn't ask replacement 2nd time. Prawns stuffing much less compared to before. Makul masala had squid pieces cut the size of cut garlic so didn't enjoy as not much makul. Half the wades were burnt. Thali s were ok as taste already spoilt. Doubt I'll go again as other malwan options available.

Kokan Swad, franchise restaurant opened up in Mumbai n Navi Mumbai, has by far one of better places I have had sa food in recent times. This particular outlet of sea woods, is at around 15 minutes walk from railway station, or simply pick an auto rickshaw outside station for sector 78A police chawky or even restaurant name, many autowalas know this place. This place claimed to have outdoors seating in Zomato, but we did not find one when we checked for it.<br/>Me n my colleagues decided to try out seafood varieties here along with their Chinese starters to find out if this place is really worth hype n ratings received on Zomato n elsewhere. The ambiance is not happening, but its strictly "We mean good food business here" kinda place.<br/>We started out with chicken manchow soup n crab soup, n honestly one of best crab soups we had in long time,perfectly cooked crab meat chunks n soup gravy had enough flavors of it as well, to make it great combination. Chicken manchow soup was tasty as well, shredded chicken tasted fresh n cooked good. Prawns chilly n stuffed bombils were next n theu successfully overpowered earlier dishes in taste, texture n flavors. Both these dishes, a must try for those who like these fishes. Stuffed bombils were simply amazing, mouth watering. Bhakari n kombadi Vade were our choices for these gravies, apart from chapati and hands down, Kombadi Vade were best fit for them, tasted yummy n had genuineness of kombadi vadas' flavors.<br/>To top it up at end, solkari was obvious, and it did not disappoint at all. No matter what you eat, if you get solkari at malwani restaurant, that too good in taste n authentic one, it makes meal complete; We had that experience.<br/>The delivery is quite quick given the overall dishes that are prepared, especially sea good) food. We visited Kokan Swad today..and ordered for special mutton and chicken thali. <br/>Chicken thali consisted of sol kadi, raita, thick chicken gravy, chicken rassa, chicken gravy curry which was thinner than the thick gravy, techa, and one chicken lollipop. <br/>Mutton thali had same stuffs in mutton except for the rasa. And instead of the lollypop, they had given kebab. <br/>On a small conversation with The person who was serving to others- he said that they have different starter items- example wada kebab on different days for these special thali. <br/>With such amazing taste they don’t need promotions I guess. No doubt their place is full packed. 5 star to the food they serve 👍🏻

If you want to taste Kokan cuisine. It's one of the best in Navi Mumbai. Nice ambience and quality food. I loved Sumai thali and Pompret thali the most.

Special chicken thaali: chicken rassa, one piece of chicken lollipop 2 bhakris(usually you get only one bhakri in any restaurant) and chicken biryani in rice instead of normal steamed rice. And other regular thali items like chatni, solkadi Definitely worth every penny. <br/><br/>2. Tisrya thaali: the Tisrya or shimpli which we call it were of good size n good quantity, also had mandeli fry in the thaali itself, and the cover of the mandeli was perfect for a fried fish. <br/><br/>3. Surmai thaali: Surmai again fried to perfection with bangda saar and other regular thaali items. These Thaalis are definitely "paisa vasool". <br/> <br/>4. Paplet thaali: a whole paplet, medium in size fried to perfection. With the bangda gravy and other thaali items. <br/><br/>The malwani wade they make are also very nice and oil free. <br/><br/>And I personally love solkadi so ordered a glass of solkadi n it was perfect. If you want to eat good Maharashtrian non-veg food! This is certainly best in Nerul if you compare the cost. If you are going for a date, do not take your girlfriend here, ambience is very simple. However, if you want to go for some good dinner and taste is all you care about, this is the place for you. Fish quality, chicken thalis, non-veg Maharashtrian starters are good. Also, other restaurants do not provide same quality for that cost. Basically, budget friendly, quality food serving restaurant with prompt service. There is nothing like this one in that area. For better ambience, go to Malavani Katta for a date which is in Belapur. Food quality remains the same.

A good family restaurant with authentic tasty food.. Prices are reasonable.. Place is crowded on Sundays.. Both the quantity and quantity of food are good... I really like their chicken tikka Biryani and solkadhi.. They have different fish thalis.. Fish is properly cooked and well marinated.. Recommended for fish lovers and people who like kokani cuisine..

Kokan swad is good restaurant to have malwani food . I ordered chicken masala n fish fry ....<br/>taste is ok...not awesome ...<br/>packaging n parcel time super...<br/>many times I oredered frm this restaurant but this time I disappoints ......

They are pathetic equally on there veg and non veg preparation. The food is not tasty. The prices don't justify the thali. The Thali also has very limited option in it, the two gravy served tastes the same, the fish fried is also not fresh, the solkadi also was not great. The paya shorba had hair of the goat.yuck👅 The expectations were too high before visit but just did not find it good. Never visiting again nor I'll suggest anyone. If your a true cuisine fanatic for Konkani food visit a restaurant named "Sanman" at Alibagh. You will spot the difference immediately. Needs major improvement to really make this place worth visits. Also the place is very small and crunched sitting. Cheers 🍻!!

My experience at this place was poor. They served water which has some fishy smell. Than the fish thali which not upto the mark. Fish fry was not cooked inside.will never try this place again.

Went there with family yesterday.ordered bombil fry,prawns sukka,solkadi,chapati,chicken lollypop n masala papad. awesome food.frankly didn't expect a lot from such a small joint.but the taste was absolutely bang on kokan style.service was fast.waiters were friendly.highly recommended.looking forward to go there again

If you are a Marathi cuisine fan, this is definitely the place to order food from. I love fish dishes. I want to taste each and every dish of the restaurant, the taste is that good. You should definitely try chicken liver fry and egg Masala.<br/>However veg dishes suck equally from this place. Have tried veg Chinese and Hara bhara kabab. The kababs were soggy and tasteless. And for some reason, there were boiled capsicum pieces all over the kababs.<br/>However, because of the nonveg dishes from this, restaurant gets 5/5 on my list of good restaurants. I had ordered rice bhakri, ghavane, bombil fry and egg Masala. It was one of the best meals. Even The red chutney that they had sent was one of the best Chutneys.

For the best Kokan food ❤ Everything in the menu is so delicious! Just the rates will harm. Wonderful variety of fish. Not only wish fish you'll get everything. Must try the Thali and Saulkadi. A must visit place!

Nice food, went after a friend refered me this place. Nice ambiance with good food. We had kombdi wada and mutton masala u must try dis i liked it very much and also bombil fish was nice. Chicken was not prepared up to mark. Will come here again heard of their crab soup also which is quite famous will try next time. <br/><br/>Must try - kombadi wada and mutton masala.

Konkan based hotel . But the food is good in all cuisines. The management is ok, liked thier mughlai non vegetarian stuff and it was really deliceous. Haven't tried the Konkan cuisine yet though.

Felt like authentic homemade malvani food with great taste. Had chicken thali, chicken masala and chicken tikka masala till now and it not disappointed so far.

Very poor in delivery timings. Takes more than 1hr even to deliver to near proximity area which is within 300metres. They have less staff for delivery it seems. Not a good idea.

A small restaurant but food served is worth visiting. Crab sukka was super prepared.. A must try dish if you are at konkan swad.. Fish was served damn fresh.. Got to know the owner herself inspects and prepares the spice mixtures for marination.

Went here for the first time... Amzing food.. You will actuly feel the taste of kokan here. Tried surmai thali and it was worth. Tried crispy bombil as well... I'll say must try this one. Overall a good experience.

Hi guys.. for d first time I went to Kokan Swad ystrday.. Ambience is Nice ..there was less rush as it was Thursday. Ordered Chicken Pakora(nice) n Prawns Koliwada (Not upto d mark)..Mutton Kasha(not good),Chicken Tikka Masala (tasty one),Ghawane(it's like Neer Dosa-- yummmyy..very tasty).. Solcurry(tasty). Overall it's ok ok type.
