With food allergies it is rare that I can order from outside, this place allows me to take a break from cooking. The taste is really good, the bhakri & subzi sent are fresh.

Earlier the name of this place was konkan swaad and then it changed to ratna konkan but taste is just still the same.. I miss eating pomfret thaali here🍤

Ultimate mouth watering Marathi food value for money I will suggest that everyone must try it once.
Went with my family last weekend. The food was really tasty there were soo many options and really hard to choose. So we end up trying masala papad , Kotimbir vadi, surmai fry as starter. And for main course we had SURMAI THALI and PAPLET THALI .
The ambience is very simple and homely. I'm in love with it. All the cutlery and plates are copper which is healthy and gives a authentic feeling.
The Staff is very friendly and explained us everything. But they took long time to gives us our orders. They could speed it up.
The Food: We ordered Bombil fry for starters and Special Chicken, fish and Mutton thali. And Doodhi halwa for sweet.
Bombil fry (4/5) : It was very crispy and the fish was fresh
Thalis (4/5) : I'm reviewing everything in one as all the dish in thalis were almost same. They were good. Best part was vade and bakhris. Biryani was not that great.
Doodhi halwa(5/5): was amazing. The ghee was very nice coupled with sweetness of doodhi
Overall experience was great. I will definitely come back. They could speed up the serving.
Had been here many times, their seafood thalis are super delicious, i have tried their Tisrya thali,Prawns thali and Surmai thali all were awesome, also their Solkadhi is very tasty

Prawns masala is so good ,it is not spicy and is very tasty.
Paya soup is a must try. Chawal bhakri is so soft.

Ambience is good. The staff is polite and patient.
The place serves the best authentic Malvani Thalis. The ambience and service is also good. They also have a party table which is suitable for 8-10 people at a time. I recommend mostly visiting during lunch and dinner hours.

You can also opt for Desi Chinese which is also better in taste. Only the lacking point, according to me, is a little high price for the thalis as per the quantity. However, it was overall a good experience.
The atmosphere was really cozy and warm. The service was excellent and polite. Overall a really good experience with Konkan swad restro - a must visit for all konkani food lovers.
Visited Konkan Swad almost four years of its opening and what a great experience!! We ordered Chicken, Mutton and Fish thaali, every item in every dish was amazing!

If you want to have taste of malvan, do visit this place.
They also have other cuisine like Chinese and Indian but i recommend only malavani food.

Today we had got to there for Lunch the taste was absolutely amazing and the service was too good and on time they served us extra free solkadi and the atmosphere here was also too good as it is designed with a mixture of modern and konkan. The Quality of the food is amazing and the prices are also good. The Quantity the give is the best compared to others.
Being a malvani myself we always used to prepare malvani food at our home. The taste has been replicated to perfection by the restaurant. During weekends just ensure that you reach as early as possible or else be ready to wait for minimum 20-30 mins. Almost all the dishes we ordered were very well prepared. The service part is something that can be upped. It was actually an error on my part to ask whether gajar halwa can be served and the bit-irritated waiter responded that how can I serve something that is a seasonal dish. As a foodie I have been to quite a lot of restaurants and I feel that the waiter could had been a bit polite in responding. Maybe he was quite tied up with the people inside the restaurants and hence a bit stressed. Something that can be excused.
