It's like a local bar to hangout. Food is good, specially the chicken koliwada. Fresh Fish always. Friendly staff and it's a calm n cool place to have booze.

Read good reviews about this restaurant & dropped in to try the famous chicken gassi & neer dosa the specialities from Mangalore & my favorite.

The coconut curry is basically a bar & restaurant with AC & Non AC section where typically you will find guys sitting single or in groups having drinks & starters. The staff told us that family crowd comes in during Lunch & Dinner hours but when we visited there was no family dining in the premises.

We ordered for bombil rawa fry, chicken gassi & neer dosa.

The bombil rawa fry is basically flattened Bombay duck fish coated with spices, topped with semolina & deep fried. Bombil is a famous fish in the Maharashtra-konkani belt & it's has very mild flavour. The flesh is soft & flaky the bones & thorns can be chewed up very easily as they are very soft. The fish we tried here was tasty but could have had a touch more of the seasoning.

The chicken gassi is a thick chicken curry with south Indian spices, coconut & tempered with curry leaves. The chicken gassi we tasted was good & tasty no complaints but it was a tad bit spicy for our palate.

The neer dosa( water dosa ) so called because of its light texture was good in parts as there were some dry areas in between which had become a bit hard. We felt that they may have made it earlier & reheated it during our order.

All in all a not bad experience except for the disappointing neer dosa. The bill for the items came to Rs.388 in the AC section which is very reasonable for the dishes served. The service was also fast & exemplary. Would recommend everyone to try this place out.

If you planning on drinking with your friends, this is one place where you can get best rates. Simply walk in and enjoy your drinks and food with your friends. Food is good and now they have started offering better fish too. One of the best typical bars in the belapur station vicinity. The best part, being next to a bar that has been business for long, this joint has earned more patrons in short time. Management is good and responsive. Good service and quite comfy ambience. Offers outside sitting too.

Quite restaurant, mostly for alcoholics on the exterior. Also available for dinner with AC accomodation for friends and families i.e. non-alcoholics. Food taste is ok.

- I must give 5 stars to the chef for the delicious food. All the dishes we ordered were so perfectly made. We ordered Chicken pahadi kabab, prawn golden fry, malvani fish curry with neer dosa. - Good service. Available around at anytime. Quick food serve. - Location is exactly outside Belapur railway station and on the main road. - Deducting 1 star for the ambiance. Ambiance can be better with good lights, music and aroma.

Visited this place with three others. The staff had self interest of serving the customers better. We restricted our selves to chicken platter but the staff made sure that we are served the best by introducing us to sea food which was delicious. Always want to visit those places which offer their best cuisine and Coconut Curry did that. Strongly recommend this place. Also given discount on our bill.

Nice hotel I suggest you don't try seafood because it's been stored for more than a week it's tasteless . For wine it's good but price wise it's slightly expensive but staff service is too good and quick responsive.for entertainment purposes there's television available, there's no separate smoking area and it's open up to 1am so u can enjoy late night parties.
