I desperately needed a change of place and cuisine and this(bunny chow) was just what i needed. Amazing food! The ambience is pretty neat. This place is highly recommended. 😁
It’s my regular place. I visit this joint almost twice every week. Though I don’t usually go for the bunny chows, I like the gravies it has to offer. A nice little joint — calm and quiet. I often have great conversations with the owner-duo brothers.
A recommendation would be more dishes and possibilities on customisations. Cheers to the place 👍🏼
I got a vegetarian one (paneer teekha masala). It was a takeaway, and for the first time my wife said, “let’s get another one”. For a vegetarian dish... that’s a complement from a bong who breathes non-vegetarian.
Looking forward to the Durban mutton curry.... see you soon
The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially loved Durban Chicken and butter panner
Something unique
Bunny Chow is a new, small and cozy cafe serving delicious food in CBD Belapur. Located at a mere walking distance from the CBD Station, it has an indoor seating arrangement.
The place got its name from a dish invented by indian immigrants in South Africa. The dish involves serving hot delicious curry in the middle of a hollow scooped out bread/bun centre. We tried their butter chicken bunny chow which was delicious and yummy. Certainly an experience for everyone to have. Would recommend people to try all the different varieties across their menu ❤
Finally a place with something this rare but simple and pure. You'll definitely appreciate the flavour of mutton, and the fresh bread just compliments it.
Must try atleast once if you're a foodie.!!
This restaurant has a story!
So bunny chow, as it turns out is a dish invented and served by Indian community living in South Africa. It's available in England as well.
So the dish was unique in its style of serving and taste. I called for Paneer Makhani Bunny Chow. It is akin to the center of a burger bread scooped out to be filled with Paneer Makhani/Chilly/ Chole/ many options like that.
The 2nd picture is that of fried rice and paneer chilly. They also serve jeera rice.
Worth a visit for the experience. Mr. Sameer is a gracious host!
Absolutely loved it!!
The dish "Bunny chow" was something I never heard of.. today I got to know that this invention was something Indians living in South Africa made.
It's basically curry served in hollow bread/bun.
Tried the paneer tikha masala bunny chow along with cheese chilli fries. The paneer curry was so so good.
Would be visiting this place again

Advice To All - Go there with empty stomach as you wouldnt wana just have one...!!
Kids friendly and good vibes seating adequate for families too..!!
A small restaurant lost in the packed crowd of other big eateries but is well known for its unique cuisine or food. The owners of the place are friendly with never a dull moment around. The food is really good and is pocket friendly. U can fill your stomach in a mere 300 rupees. My fav is the buttery chicken bunny chow. And NO they do not sell bunny meat...
Is a new outlet at Belapur with an interesting menu. Was pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality the first time I visited. Been there a few times now and find it worthy of a review. It has limited seating options , so a large group may find it tough to b comfortable. Eatin is best , avoid takeaways specially for their signature dish shakshouka. Do have their large portions. Delicious .
Bunny Chow offers a very good experience and a combination of absolute delicious recipes. I have visited many times, they never disappoint. They have added some new dishes as per indian cuisine which I must say have come out pretty well.
As per your capacity of spice they have perfect choices for you to make. Durban chicken is great if you like a little spicy food, chicken teekha masala if north Indian is your style, butter chicken and shakshouka if you are in for treating yourself with a light delicious dish.
As I visited this place recently with my friend. I tried their signature DURBAN CHICKEN CURRY and I was impressed. The combination of curry and chicken was amazingly delicious.
If you're around Belapur and looking for a quick bite, then this is the place to visit.
