Review Pa Pa Ya - New Delhi

All i can say is Good food , Good ambience and well trained staff. We orders their famous dim sums which were really good , price of which was on higher side . Then we tried green thai curry with sticky rice , it was delicious and well served . Ended the meal with cantonese’s noodles which was decent not that great as it was a bit bland for me . Over all spent 2500 for all the food with one serving of each . Priced well as per the dining experience. Over all i would like to give 8/10 for h r whole experience.

I recently dined at Pa Pa Ya, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience. The highlight of my meal was the Pork Belly dish, which was an absolute delight. The tenderness and flavor of the pork belly were beyond compare, almost like indulging in a savory cloud of goodness. It left me craving for more. I also tried the Pork Ramen, and it was a bowl of pure comfort. The rich broth and perfectly cooked pork made it a satisfying choice, especially for someone like me who appreciates pork dishes. To complement my meal, I opted for the Watermelon Juice, and it instantly became one of my favorites. The refreshing taste of the juice perfectly balanced the richness of the pork dishes. Overall, my experience at Pa Pa Ya was exceptional, and I can confidently say that their pork offerings have turned pork into a delicacy akin to cotton candy for me. I look forward to returning to this restaurant to savor these delightful dishes again.

Papaya is definitely pricey but the food is excellent . Our host , Sanjana was very proactive and gave us lot of suggestion as we were little overwhelmed and couldn’t decide what to order . The best food was Nassanan curry chicken and Nasi Goreng. Sushi platter was also great . Mango delight was good when first served and next time when we ordered it turned out to be sour . Anyway still one of the best food in Delhi .

I went for my 1st Anniversary dinner to this awesome place & trust me when I say this, it was the best decision ever.. The Pork ribs was one of the most flavorful dish I've had in a while.. If you are a Pork lover then it's a Must Try.. I am always a sushi lover & this time I made my Man try Sushi from here & he instantly fell in love with it.. All the dishes were extremely delicious & the service by Amar was really impeccable. Amar did everything to make sure we are comfortable & the food is to our liking. Service & Ambience wise it's a very nice place where you would love to take your girl on a date or Your family for a tasty meal.. not to mention, the food quality is top notch. This place will definitely be on my recommendation list.. POV- When your tastebuds are happy & your brain is releasing Dopamine, you will always remember reading this review & thank me later 😊

I heard from someone about papaya saket so I planned for dinner.i cant believe food was realy outstanding. Staffs were very polite and we'll trained.enoyed a lot recomend to visit everyone once when u r in surroundings.

The staff is very friendly , they entertain kids very well I absolutely loved the mexican tofu wrap and the udoon noodles They are a 10/10 I would definitely try them again We also had the vegetable black bean sauce, rainbow sushi , leek and water chestnut dimsums , the pan fried noodles , a virgin hot toddy and litchi juice.

A beautiful beautiful place to eat with really humble and helpful staff. Ravinder, our service staff was very polite and nice. He also took efforts to answer our concern and herbs added in the dishes. I'm so grateful for him. The ambience is beautiful. They also bring the food quite quickly. It's a must visit.

The best modern Asian fusion so far! Lhasa soup was simply yum. Crispy veg layers were top notch. Veg dumplings were average - felt a bit too mushy and pasty Pad Thai also was ok - was a bit too chewy. Masama curry was superb! Oriental spice cocktail was also average - felt like an awesome jaljeera rather than an exotic cocktail.

It's a good restaurant option for good liquor and Japanese and oriental cuisine. The atmosphere is good and you will find a decent crowd. We tried sushi and sashimi which was fresh and excellent in taste. Try it with very little wasabi paste and a dip in Japanese soy sauce. It's a wholesome protein rich meal. Apart from these chicken tacos, mochi icecream, chicken dumplings are also great. You must also try their signature dessert of chocolate and ice cream.

A great place with great decor and great food just that I think the ushers at the door and some waiters could do with some more training on politeness. We had booked for 7 and landed sharp at 7 to be told we have 30 oh ok sorry 45 mins to finish our meal and leave. A little perplexed we decided ok will try . Inside our very kind waiter then politely advices us that he does not think it's a good idea for us to order as we just have 40 mins.. so err are we supposed to get up and leave ?? And we decided let's order so which we did so carefully so to stick to our 40 permitted minutes . There were ample tables around us empty but with that sword of time on our head we just managed to order gobble and leave and mind you when we did we did not notice anyone grabbing our seat out of desperation . So would be advisable that when you ask people to walk in please politely your waiters should try and tell then that please do order and I shall rush it up so you can enjoy your meal instead of dissuading a customer ! Isn't that good customer service mind you we are paying customers... besides this nothing else peeved me off. Except for that 1 waiter all were polite . A gentleman called David was most kind and patient with our children n the meal I must say was outstanding and delightful . I would visit again but hope will enjoy the meal n not have to gobble it up . The vegetarian fare is just as delightful as non vegetarian . Dessert chocolate dome to die for and phenomenal sushi platters And rice. Must visit minus the waiter we got initially . Rest were very polite.

We went on a thursday night and walked in directly without any reservation. We were greeted happily and instantly given a comfortble table to sit without any delay. We orederd Sushi - probably not the best wasabi compared to pullman at aero city still amongst best Tapas - cold tapas was absolutely stunner amazing not to be missed Dim sums - can be given a miss The famous Chocolate ball of fire - perfect end and a specialty the waiter was too polite while speaking and was not audible As we asked about the different food on the menu. Pa Pa Ya is not just any average fine dining, it's a completely different experience with Pan-Asian cuisine delivered on your table by their staff with precision and perfection. I visited during the day hours for my lunch over a weekday and as far as my experience is concerned, the ambience is quite impressive with bright daylight coming in from the dome, adding up to the grandeur of the interiors and the aura of the place. The light ambient music playing at a mild volume is another blissful highlight of the place. I was acknowledged with the special cocktail festival going on, which had some signature concoctions prepared in different spirits.I tried a few namely- FRUIT TEA & TONIC which had this fusion of green tea with elderflower, strawberry and basil followed by PURPLE SUMMER which attracted me due to the presence of exotic mulberry flavours infused in Jasmine Cream Lemonade. Both the drinks were Gin based. Talking about the food, the course begins with a fancy presentation of Amuse-bouche which has chunks of watermelon with flavoured froth to do the cleansing job well. Beginning with the Starters, we had these super-delicious CHICKEN DUMPLINGS which were pan-seared and had just the right amount of chicken fillings tossed in gyoza sauce. Being a big-time sushi fan, next couple of dishes were no less than a treat for me, my favourite being the Sushi-tree which basically was a platter with a range of sushi's beautifully presented.Fillings had spicy tuna, salmon and prawns. Little surprises came in amid the course meal with lychee flavoured chilled sorbets. The starters had me quite full yet I couldn't miss onto their Pork skewers tossed in Barbeque sauces. The flesh was tender and was cooked up to perfection. With everything being so perfect, the course meal had to end on a drool-worthy note with their signature chocolate ball infused with orange liqueur, sugar coated nuts and hot chocolate sauce catalysing the whole flavour of this perfect finisher. All in all the place is definitely a must visit.

It's just another better than average kinda place. We are non-vegetarians and we felt that the lamb chop and the pork belly dishes were too intense with flavour of the sauce that it missed the natural flavour of the meat. We asked if they used MSG in their food because of the kind of flavour we could taste. I was glad that they don't use MSG though. Tapas and sushi were great. Summer Tokyo cocktail is now our favourite. oh, and at some point I felt bothered by the staff coming repeatedly to know our feedback.

The food is a pure bliss for ones taste bud & Culinary Extravaganza. You will not get a better Ramen Chicken soup any where else in India than this place. Lamb Chops is like an orgasm in your mouth

Sadly had a 'oonchi dukaan feeka pakwaan' kinda experience! Especially booked a table to experience the place and food - the presentation of food was good.. but extremely average food quality! In fact the main course was bad - all stale ingredients used!! Wouldn't recommend to anyone!! 👎

Love the place - little expensive, but worth every "bite" of it. Sea foods and specially lamp Rendang curry is mouth watering. I will visit again for sure :) :)

Different from all these new restaurants based on similar features, even the name. Pa pa ya is class, up market. Music is to die for Food is so authentic, drinks equally great

Its really a nice place for not only dinner or lunch but its a place to enjoy and celebrate. only problem is getting a proper response for booking either by increasing its capacity or proper management, its not possible to book a place everytime before long time and after doing a booking u people often refuse so plz confirm it by any means

And there are very few places I trust for having my sushis, dimsums & UDON Noodles...Papaya is one of the best places according to me if you wanna indulge in some fine dine-in with delicious food. The menu is so massive you can’t choose what to eat and what not to! <br/>The last time I went there I ordered:<br/>• DEHYDRATED SPINACH SUSHI: Ik from the name you must be thinking why should I eat spinach that was my reaction as well but the chef recommended us to try that..and trust me it is worth the hype ! <br/>• Mushroom Bao: If you’re a mushroom lover these bao are for you...extremely flavourful and quite big in size!<br/>• PAD THAI NOODLES: We had to order their infamous pad thai noodles..so tasty with a very different flavour that immediately soothes your taste buds. Also try their Udon Noodles.<br/>• CHOCOLATE BALL ON FIRE: The picture says it all..chocolate lovers this is your go to dish ! Though I found it to be a little expensive but you should experience everything right ? <br/>

Visited the restaurant on their first opening day post lockdown. They were following hygiene and sanitization standards very well. All the staff members were reflecting a sense of positivity and it was topped up with excellent professionalism delivered by vikram. And yes, most importantly they have a lovely menu with sumptuous sushi and popular staple main courses with every detail in bringing the flavours. Keep it up.

The service is great here, and so are the dimsums and sushi! Smriti was great at waiting the table and serving us. The appetizers and dimsums were much better than the main course. The mammassan curry could've been more flavorful. Unluckily, we couldn't save room for dessert :(

My experience at Pa Pa Ya was disappointing. The ambiance was beautiful and service appeared promising for an extravagant lunch. Having gone through the menu in advance we ordered the peanut crusted ikan bakar and the lamb rendang curry. <br/>Unfortunately the food served did not live upto our expectations. The Peanut crusted ikan bakar was uncooked. The waiter and the chef tried to explain to me that the fish is baked and the texture is underdone. I had to explain to them that the fish served to me was COMPLETELY RAW and that I was not going to eat it! They did not bill us for the dish but the experience was rather upsetting. <br/>The lamb on the other hand was very well done. The meat did not fall off the bone and melt in my mouth, but it was well flavoured and fresher cuts of meat could have been used.

The Sichuan Style Crispy Prawn was especially delicious. Smriti and Nei were very courteous and helpful throughout our dining experience. Highly recommend.

The food was delicious. Whatever I had ordered was so pretty, good looking and very tasty. Presentation + taste - Kudos! Our server, Mr. Vijay suggested us some things which we really enjoyed. Would love to go again and try their Bao! Something that missed eating that day.

Set in a very interesting architecture PaPaYa is a must go place for all the lovers of Asian cuisine.<br/>This place has a very inviting and friendly ambience, with enough seating for large gatherings as well as cozy corners.<br/>The menu is divided into various parts which were sushi , dumplings, drinks and food.<br/>We were invited with watermelon ambuse bouche to cleanse our palette.<br/>Sushi here was undoubtedly great with my favourite being fishtail and raw mango sushi. <br/>The mushroom and cheese soft baos with ample filling are a must have.<br/>Only thing that I was a little disappointed with was the LIT which for me personally was not strong enough.<br/>Also didn't get to try their mochi ice cream, but may be next time.<br/>Overall the experience was worth the money for me as well as my vegetarian friends.<br/>#papaya

Trust me when I say, I expected more out of this place. First of all I didn’t really like the ambiance in the day. We took the unlimited Dimsum meal which looked real fancy but at the end of the meal I did not have that kind of a satisfaction which makes you comeback to the place. Will recommend it to the first timers .

When I was in Delhi last month I went to Papaya for their unlimited dimsum buffet that consists of delicious dumplings, gyozas, baos, shao mai, poached dumplings, salad and dessert. For me dimsums are like little bites of heaven and each one of them was made to perfection. Some of my favourites were the chicken and pak choy dumpling, prawn shao mai, mushroom and truffle bao, roasted aubergine jiaozi(which is a pan seared dumpling and yes even I was surprised that I liked it😛) and my absolute favourite was the chicken gyoza. If you are a Dimsum lover like me this buffet is absolutely worth every penny coz if you order like 2 portions of dimsum a-la carte you'll probably end up spending the same amount as the buffet so this buffet will keep your tummy as well as your pocket happy and make sure you keep space for that heavenly liquid fondant cake coz it was lipsmackingly delicious. The server was kind enough to recommend that we take one veg and one non veg menu that way we could try all the dishes on the menu. Do give it a try guys😊

We went to Pa Pa Ya on 19th Jan 2020 for a friend's birthday party and we had a fabulous time. The staff was prompt, courteous and helpful. Special mention goes out to Smriti and the members of staff at the bar. The kaafir lime drink was simply so refreshing and tasty. The food though seemed to be served cold . Overall it was an enjoyable experience. We will be a regular now :)

Visited Pa Pa Ya yesterday for their Valentine’s special dinner. We had made a reservation one week in advance. However, they did not have a table ready for us. The place was over booked and they asked us to wait at the bar for a table. At the bar, there was absolutely no service. The bar counter was dirty and there was chaos all around. After half an hour, we were finally shifted to a table but the quality of food, taste and service was below average. We have eaten here twice before but our experience this time was completely disappointing.

Don't miss their Corn Fed Chicken Leg Thousand Chili in the Tapas menu. Also, special mention to the bartender for the Mulled Wine. It was simply excellent! Super courteous staff and amazing ambience.

The chocolate ball of fire! Well, my daughter saw a similar thing on one of those Masterchef episodes and wanted to have it... I did a bit of research and found the 'Chocolate ball of fire' at Pa Pa Ya! So, here we are!<br/>A perfect sphere... And a cup of hot chocolate syrup... And the beauty of seeing the chocolate ball melt away... 💕😍 to reveal the insides of the desert! It definitely is a beautiful and instagram worthy dessert!<br/>About the taste... I would have appreciated it much more if It wasnt just hot chocolate fudge presented differently.. Maybe add a bit of twist, a suprise addition to the flavours in there... Would have been doubly wonderful!

Yesterday, i visited first time this place & i’m totally impressed by the ambience. This place looks too classy & great interior. A very nice place for Japanese food lover & those who love to explore new food variety. The menu has large variety so i confused during the time of my order what should i need to order there was a young gentle man for our service named Vikram helped me a-lot for placing the order. He explained me about every dish & guided me for the choosing the right suitable dish option for me. The presentation of food was too tempting & taste was damn delicious. Must try place☺️

They say this help us in keeping good appetite and believe me it is very delicious. This was something new , something which i had never seen at any cafe. We ordered Crispy vegetable maki Dehydrated Spinach Sushi on the recommendation of the staff. And it turned out to be best sushi i had ever. Also we ordered Mushroom Bao. It was also delicious. A classy place situated in District center, Saket to try out lovely Japanese, Thai & Asian food. The ambiance is quite vibrant, the place being situated at the level 4 is a great option for dinner ! I had chili chicken shawarma, Horenso Gomae & papaya mezzo platter. The authentic flavour of food was awesome! The place is not reasonably priced but they have a very large menu with ample choice for everyone. The service is super fast and so is the friendly staff service.

This is the most famous outlet among the people for its chinese Japanese and thai cuisines that they serve !<br/>The authenticity of the food is kept very good and it makes you feel like the food came from that place itself. Their main speciality are the sushis in which they have a very big variety !

The overall ambience of the place was really nice. The recommendations made by Ms. Smriti were excellent and added to our overall experience. The Maki Sushi with crispy vegetables and dehydrated spinach was delicious.

We had a great experience here on date night. Our server in particular, Vikram, made us feel very special and gave good advice on the menu. The food was delicious and unlike any asian food you could find anywhere else in Delhi. Thank you for a lovely experience!

My first experience to this restaurant has been absolutely amazing. The service by Ms Nei was perfect. The restaurant's staff were all very sensitive to customers, the staff paid detailed attention to each table to make your dinning experience impeccable.<br/><br/>We ordered: Veg Ramen Soup, Vegetarian version of takoyaki, Pizza sushi, truffled mushroom bao and ended it with the matcha hazelnut fondant cake.<br/>For drinks we tried Exotica which was really refreshing.<br/><br/>All of these dishes were prepared perfectly. The mushroom bao were delicious, having the best texture. The presentation of all the items were really impressive. The Veg Ramen was incredibly flavourful. The tomato(?) Caviar on the takoyaki as well the sauce complimented it very well. The pizza sushi was something new for me, the combination was very well made. The dessert was great too, I was expecting a little more matcha taste in it, but it was still not disappoint at all.<br/>Really looking forward to visit again! ❤️

Been a frequent flyer for quite some time now. The less I say the better, otherwise the review won’t end. The staff is to die for. A very Ritz Carlton like feeling. They are more loyal to you than you are to them. They take special care of their frequent patrons. The order is in their shorthand. Sometimes the conversation for order lies between a minute to two, tops. My usual server is the same. The staff maintains a good rapport with clients, talking about my other friends who visit often too. They enjoy more than me, if that’s even possible. Worth the price. Highly recommended. It has the best sushi I've ever had and I've been to like 5-6 places.<br/>The service, the ambience, the cleanliness, everything is just great.<br/>I've been served by different people and all of them are really good.<br/>If you are trying it for the first time, please go to Pa pa ya.<br/>The wine, the cocktails, they are all good.<br/>0 disappointment.
