It is expensive. And by that I mean really expensive. But the food was quite good, and the ambience and service was top class. The olive oil tasted expensive (or was it the cost that made it taste good 😊). La Piazza pizza and tiramisu are worth trying. I definitely recommend this place but be warned that you will burn a hole in the pocket. A great place to go on a date night.

Love it. It’s a total different experience…there’s nothing better than pizzas in a buffet.
Loved the entire experience here. The ambience was great. The service was quick and good. The person waiting our table did provide recommendations. The pan seared sea bass was super delicious and definitely a must have. The grilled salmon fillet was good too. They offered a starter with thin bread drizzled with balsamic vinegar and sundried tomatoes. The Tuna carpaccio was cold but decent in taste. Overall definitely a must visit place if you're looking for a Italian dining experience
There were many menus. I ordered risotto and pasta, but the pasta was not my favorite style, so it didn't taste very good. It was dry because it didn't have much sauce. But the risotto was delicious. I should eat another menu next time. The service was good. The atmosphere is also luxurious.
Wonderful restaurant for perfect Pizza and pasta. This widely loved Italian restaurant in Delhi features a classic wood-fired oven, which lends a typical flavour to the pizzas. Service was impeccable. But the best part was the Tiramisu.
This place has been in existence since 1994 (so I was told) and can understand why it has survived the test of time. Had luncheon meetings at this place on two consecutive trips to Delhi, with the latest meal on the 5th of Oct 23 and enjoyed both my outings. The food is fantastic and very true to the Italian cuisine they specialize in, of course my POV.
Started off with some fantastic focaccia with a funghi salad with goat cheese, absolutely delicious. That was followed with some carpaccio and small portion of their house special La Piazza (Veg). Unfortunately, didn't try any of the wines from their rather large collection but downed a few espressos which were wonderful brewed with finely roasted (and not burnt) beans.
It is an expensive place so one needs to be aware of that before stepping in. Do check if they have a kitty party booking, can get very noisy!
Special mention to our Maitre d'hôtel, Pravesh, he was brilliant with his suggestions.
Buon appetito!
I absolutely love Italy and Italian food, especially if it's as authentic to the real Italian experience. La Piazza, at the Hyatt Regency is fashioned like a typical Italian Taverna, with low light and close tables and intimate food and social experiences. It's Italian romance at its best, complete with the hustle and bustle similar to an Italian restaurant. The restaurant just completed 25 years and it just goes to show how seasoned they are in the kitchens when it comes to Italian. It's the perfect place for a casual date night. And even more perfect if you want an authentic Italian culinary experience. Their risottos and tortellinis are the highlights. And paired with a lovely red wine, lo and behold, you're back in Italy, in the middle of Delhi, India, just like that!
Super experience! The food is great, ambience is fabulous and the waiter Amrit went beyond and above our expectations. He kept an eye on us the whole time, exceeding our needs without even asking. Must try in Delhi if you fancy italian food!
Me and my family visited this restaurant for dinner. For appetizers, we ate the Caprese salad with burrata, which was delicious. As a main, I ate the tomorrow and asparagus ravioli in mushroom cream sauce. It was excellent - the sauce was rich, the flavors were vivid, and the plating was good too. I definitely advise the pasta lovers out there to try this dish.
I also tried some of my sister’s Margherita pizza, which is, of course, a classic.
For dessert, I chose the molten chocolate cake (with came with a side of vanilla ice-cream). When I dug my spoon into it, the hot, rich molten chocolate oozing out, making me salivate. The combination of the ice-cream and cake were perfect together too - it was just harmony. I loved it so much, and highly recommend any visiting this restaurant to give it a try.
In conclusion, the food was both a treat for the taste-buds and the eyes, and the service was quite good was well. I couldn’t help but enjoy the meal since cheese is, of course, the great of my life! I those who like Italian food must come here for a meal.
Really hospitable waiters. Brilliant food, best pizza i’ve ever eaten. Excellent place for a date night. PS: Try to book the window tables in advance.
