Review Cafe On 3 - New Delhi

Little late to review this amazing cafe in Holiday Inn. Worth giving it a visit for its variety of food options. Visited here for a corporate team lunch and it was an amazing experience. Staff here were very courteous, you can watch experienced chef preparing your food in the most hygienic way. You will get a lot of cuisine options such as Lebanese, Italian and obviously Indian. Food taste and quality is undoubtedly top notch. Above all, the cafe also offers nice ambience, with swimming pool right next to the cafe and a patio. Happy Visit overall 😊

Loved the service and the staff here. The food options were nice in the breakfast buffet, the only thing I did not enjoy was the cold cuts section, it lacked variety. Also, I understand that we were walk ins, but stashing us in a corner, in the worst possible space didn't do much for the experience.

I went to cafe on 3 for weekend dinner buffet with my love , it’s as 24 hr cafe offering some great food and service . So when we were there , so a Peruvian festival was going on with Peruvian food live counter’s in addition to their regular buffet . So we had the Peruvian corn , gherkins and red chilli fritters and Peruvian Tarts , from the Peruvian main course we had TACU TACU which is jasmine rice the Peruvian way , along with PAPA A LA HUANCAINA & TOFU SALTADO which are boiled potato with Peruvian spices and tofu with sautĂ©ed with pinup and tomatoes respectively. From the regular buffet we had the Hakka noodles with sweet and sour vegetables followed by lachha parantha with kadhai paneer and mixed dal which was just delicious. Non vegetarians had huge variety which was delicious ( since I recently turned vegetarian, so I can tell that the chickens & mutton’s were mouthwatering delicious). For the drinks I had the fruit punch, one of the finest I had. And the best part was the desserts , they had a huge variety that if one haves all that , then the dinner is ain’t required. I had the fruits custard , mascarpone cheesecake it was just awesome, cream pudding again very delicious, chocolate pudding it was more of melted 5 star chocolate, rabdi and the best seviyaan . Apart from this which I couldn’t had there were pastries , baked yoghurt, cut fruits , puddings , overall very sweet affair. It was a very nice experience and one must try whenever you are around , excellent service by Mr. sagar.

Visited cafe on 3 as a guest Loved the way Chef Shiva curated our meal . He went extra mile and baked a delicious chicken pizza which had pepperoni chicken tikka and the thin crust was super crispy . Great hospitality. Chef Shiva rocks 😁

This place is on 3rd floor of Hotel Holiday Inn, Mayur Vihar. It has beautiful interior with nice lights and decor. The cuisine is South indian and as per it all the staff including Waiters dressed in South Indian traditional attire. We enjoyed Both Buffet as well as Ala-carte option with lots of drinks on menu. They have Live snacks counter for- Fried Cauliflower and Baby Corns Kothu Parantha, Idli With Coconut Chatni, Beetroot Chatni, Pineapple Chatni and many more. We had mocktails like- Green Apple Lemonade, and Cranberry Lemonade. For Main Course, we had- Lemon Rice, Spinach Daal, with Garlic Naan and Laccha Parantha. In Desserts, Pastries, Cake, Sweets (Ras Malai, Khoya Barfi) The whole food was prepared in a typical south Indian style. Highly recommended from my side. Overall very good experience.

Lemme take you to my exquisitive experience to this amazing place Cafe On 3 at Holiday inn hotel in Mayur Vihar. This popular restaurant is winning everyone's hearts with its superb portrayal of Eid culture these days ,depicted by interiors of this place and they are doing an awesome job by sticking to its theme and having people experience it . The staff here welcome every one with their warm smile and positive vibes. Now let's get our Tongues wagging As Cafe on 3 is having a Jashen Eid these days,U get the whole Eid related food vibe flowing all over the place. The authenticity of Eid Special Food that u barely find in restaurants ,u get them here on the occasion of Eid .And if you are a belong to this festival , it will take u to a whole new level of nostalgic memories of Jama masjid ka aslam chicken , biryani , jarda pulao sort of meethe rice u can say it . Ofcorse one cannot miss mughali dal n jarda pulao along with kehmera roti, it's next level yummy and mouth watering. EID food is incomplete if u have not had shahi tukda and seviyan trust me u will be missing something if u hadn't tried that. Coming to gratify my non vegetarian taste buds, Aslam chicken was melting in my mouth as it touched my tongue. And grilled fish too was very well cooked and soft . I couldn't resist my self to load my tummy more with the deserts to satisfy my sweet tooth , I hogged on to Seviyan seriously fallin love n meethe chawal make me recall the childhood times when my mom used to cook .And obviously I couldn't leave this place without eating all. My over all experience at this staff friendly and beautifully done up place was amazing and I am really looking forward to visiting them again .. Cafe on 3 You are a winner for me . One thing more chef has given his 2000 percent effort seriously hats off too the chef n team n also Roy sir for curated this Eidspl dinner at holiday inn mayur vihar.

THE HOLIDAY INN HOTEL is one of the best hotels in Mayur Vihar which indeed live up to the five star standard and deserve full 5/5 for the service and delectable food. I visited this alluring hotel yesterday for a dinner and I really enjoyed my scrumptious meal at Cafe on 3. As we entered, We came to know that they are organizing a highway cuisine festival from 19TH JULY TO 28TH JULY, So whole Cafe is converted into a highway themed ambience. A truck like counter is installed at the entrance and various thelas as live counter like Joshi tea Stall, Ramu bante wala, Pyarelal chaat wala, Anjali ke Paranthe n many others... Everything I tasted there was lip smacking and beautifully presented. The cafe ambience is very attractive and it has wonderful interiors n exterior with a pool side view.Their staff was very friendly and readily helping us in all possible ways. The manager personally came to us n explained many of their creative dishes. Their hospitality was mind blowing. At first, they greeted us with welcome drinks which were very refreshing. In starters we tried some Chicken tikka, Grilled fish, Andda cutlet, paneer tikka, pakode, Murthal ke paranthey etc... I appreciate the flavorful taste of every dish.Grilled fish preparation was quite fabulous in lemon butter sauce, awesome to eat. The chicken tikka was also very delicious . All the dishes were presented artistically and beautifully on platters. I, then tried their Gosht Yakhni Soup ...very appetizing. IN MAINS, I had their BALTI MEAT , PANEER CHOLEY, MURGH BIRYANI with assorted Indian breads, salads n raita. The desserts section was versatile with various types of pastries ,Tiramisu, muffins, brownie, fresh fruit custard, Rasmalai, Gulab jamun etc. But the star of the evening was their kulhad kulfi, which reminded me of my school days. Overall a very lovely experience. I would absolutely recommend everyone to try this food heaven for sure.

Recently I heard that HOLIDAY INN at Mayur Vihar is organizing an event KITCHEN AT NH-24 from 19th to 28th July. The theme of the event is highway cuisine and countryside dishes. I was very much delighted by this unique n brilliant idea. This weekend, I was craving to try something different, so decided to visit this place with my husband. The entrance lobby of the hotel was quite welcoming and this place CAFE ON 3 was at 3rd floor and its enterance was converted to NH 24 look.It had indoor spacious sitting arrangements as well as outdoor sitting area overlooking the alluring swimming pool.Beautiful cots n chairs were laid on the outer side to gave it a countryside atmosphere. The poolside view was just magnificent with vibrant decor n subtle lighting, perfect for dinner or a pool party. The inner decor was very bright n lively and radiates a lavish Highway Dhaba feel. Now moving to our culinary experience, their buffet had great selection of various delicacies .They served Banta as welcome drink which was very refreshing, followed by assorted Pakodas, Golgappas, paneer tikka, soya chaap prepared on various live counters. Special mention to their Murthal ke paranthe which were very soft n properly baked served with lots of white butter n pickles. A must try. They offered lots of veg and non veg buffet spread on their counters also.To give it an authentic countryside look, they also installed beautiful small chulhas. Being a vegetarian, I tried their Chana masala, mushroom Matar, jeera dhaniya pulao, aloo shimla mirch, Dahi bhalla n various other dishes ... All things were phenomenal. They had vast variety of desserts including different types of pastries, kulfi, jalebis, rasmalai n mousse which gave perfect end to our evening. All the items were appetizing and delicious with nice presentation. Totally loved the food and the service. The staff was very courteous and the Restaurant Manager took great care of us. So Guys, If you are looking for some lip smacking highway type cuisine, then certainly give a shot to this place.

I was here when they were hosting the Lebanese Food Festival and I must say it is the best Lebanese food I have had so far . The flavors were great and the protein was fresh and soft . The ambience is soft muted and classic . Service was slow for five star standards . Here is a break down of the dinner buffet , i am going to tell about the veg food only because I did not try the non veg much. SOUP Pumpkin lentil and saffron soup _ Lovely flavors of pumpkin with big saffron hit STARTERS and SALADS Aloo matar ki tikki – soft and full of natural flavors , I had it without any chutney and it still tasted great.I loved the CHICK PEA salad too ! MAINS Raita – Good , Bread - Very good - nice flaky, fresh and warm Paneer Lababdar - Good Dal makhani - This disappointed me as I expected it to be a good one Gutte ki sabzi – Again average in terms of flavors and spice and gatte were little hard Gobhi masala – Ok Bhindi do pyaza – Very Good Lebanese Special – I had gone to the Lebanese festival and it was outstanding. Pita and Hummus, Tzatziki Baba Ghanoush Shawarma ,Fattoush.Falafel - were as good as they can get and I recommend them . Lebanese Okra with tomato - Good Koshari (Eygptian Lentil ,macaroni and tomato) _ excellent Sayadiah - Arabian fish with Rice - Excellent , very fresh and fragrant DESSERTS Mango delight pastry - good Orange pastry - good Chocolate and date mouse - Very nice White chocolate brownie - Lovely Chocolate linzer torte - Nice Umm Ali - bread pudding and is often served with a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream on top. Loved it Mahalabia a milk and bread based pudding, is scented with rose water and cardamom and topped with nuts for a rich and creamy dessert, It was nice too but I prefer a little more sweetness in my desserts The Balooshahi among Indian sweets was very good. All in all a great fine dining food experience ,The non vegetarian fare is much better than the vegetarian here specially the grilled meats

Though hotel interior is good and cleab but feels a little compact. No changing room near Swimming pool. On the day I stayed, it smell like cigarette smoke all over on the floor and in the room. The room temperature was 19 degree C, even when I set it to 25, temperature remained unchanged but only readings on AC console changed Therefore not recommended

Sometimes when you are enjoying the food and especially the food that takes you back to your childhood you don't want to actually end up eating only. This place had one of the best Menus I have ever had on a buffet dinner. This place had been playing on my mind for a very long time and on the Eve of Eid this was the right thing to do. The Bhujiya corner had almost all kind of pakoras. The rogin Kadhal was delicious and the slow cooked Dal ( cooked in milk and tempered with Indian spices ) was one of the best moong Dal I ever had. The place is very calm. And service is very good. Value for money buffet with super cool options

Holiday Inn, is a name itself that speaks of Luxury at it's best. Cafe on 3, is one of the most popular Cafe around that has always been in the buzz because of it's magnificent location next to the swimming pool and food festivals. The Magnificent chandeliers and red glass interiors make your dinning Majestic. We went during the “Awadh festival” and it was worth visit and coming back again. The Buffet is a lavish spread and apart from ongoing Avadhi delicacies, and additional buffet comprising Continental, Chinese and Mediterranean. To start, we tried Mixologist special Fruit lemonade, which was refreshing, not too sweet and delicious. From the House of Awadh, we tried their mouth melt-in Live Galouti Kebabs that were just Wow to begin. Followed by this, we tried their Awadhi warm and normal chaat that can be customized as per your taste of dips, chutneys and spices. Highly Recommended ✌ To settle down with some light add-ons I tried their Watermelon Feta salad, which was a sweet, tangy, zesty salad with balsamic and crunch nuts. Another salad I personally loved from their buffet was House salad made from Artichokes and greens lettuce. They were delicious. A Must Try 👌👌 In the Mains, I would A Must Try and Highly Recommended dishes including, Murgh Yakhni biryani, which was a light yet robust flavourful Chicken Biryani. Aromas of this one was simply DIVINE and we enjoyed this one to the last bite. Apart from this, I would also Recommend Chefs Special curated Authentic "Aslam Butter Chicken" which was as Authentic as ever. Finger licking good and this one should not be missed. 😋😋. Another lovely dish that needs to be tried is the Murgh Musallam, which is a marinated and stuffed chicken legs beautifully Flavored and Chargrilled. ✌✌ Coming over to the Deserts, the counter had endless options. I personally loved baked yoghurt, chocolate cake, and shahi tukda the most from many more options available. But these three are Must Try and Divine. The Overall experience is always dependent on the hospitality and warmth and here staff was Courteous, polite and helpful. We had a great time and so looking forward to attend more of their weekly festivals. DilseChef Scorecard: Ambience & Decor: 5/5* Food Quality: 5/5* Food Variety: 5/5* Commendable Value for Money: 5/5* Hospitality: 5/5*

We visited this restaurant which is located on the 3rd floor of the Holiday inn hotel, for the dinner. There was a dhaaba based food theme which was running up. There were plenty of tasty dhaaba food items on the offering as a part of the buffet. Along with this there were ample varieties of desserts and continental food too. The service was exceptional and we really enjoyed our evening.

There are many things a person thinks before heading for the buffet dinner, among those price and place take the top place. ▶ Holiday Inn being a 5Star Hotel, has this buffet Cafe on their third floor, beside the pool which gives this place a magnificent advantage in its ambiance over other many places. ⏩ The price quoted here is same for vegetarians as well as non vegetarian diets, and throughout the week. Thus avoiding the discomfort of selecting the Thursday night or Friday night calculations. 🕎 The place has a with placed and relatively comfortable seating area, with comfortable seating making it a soothing atmosphere to enjoy the meal. They have decorated the place with not too loud, and gentle wooden walls, with curves to avoid echo and have made this place a 5/5 especially for those who love to have their meal with the lived ones. đŸ± When I visited the place, they had organized a small festival, Awadh Festival, celebrating their delicacies as a part of starters , such as Sabs Eh Gulati- Gulati being made from a combination of varied vegetables. Which was gracefully crafted by the chef and was quite mouth watering as an appetizer. đŸ„›- As A part of the festival, they served Almond milk, Lassi, Gol Gappas, with many more dishes from Awadh to start from, and among those I must say, they took proper care in making each dish, being Almond milk made soo perfectly, it was a delight to have a glass of it in the beginning itself. đŸ„Ą Among many other dishes served by them, Few of my favorite were: 🍍-Annanas biryani, a sweet and pleasant rice made and cooked with Pineapple being the flavoring essence and with few pieces of it making it more ful-filled. đŸ„˜-Paneer Makhani, with the most soft and delicious piece of Paneer, the dish made by chef is savoury and a very much enjoyable dish if you are too a naan person like me. đŸč-Accompanied by the most gracious meal, they serve one of the BEST drinks, mine being Orange Ice Tea! 🍼-Without a proper ending with dessert, I feel a place is always lags, BUT this is not the case here, they served soo many varieties of sweet options, like MALPUA with RABRI , Fresh Fruit Custard, Date and Chocolate slice, Berry Mango Mascarpone, among a dozen more option to have! ✹The place has many colours to impress you with, it would be an evening with delight and delicious food here. Middle Eastern food. Mediterranean cuisine is hard to come by. How often are you walking down the street and see a Mediterranean restaurant, and how often do they offer high quality, delicious food? At Cafe on 3 is different. They are the only ones introducing Mediterranean buffet in the East Delhi in the Month of June and they take pride in that. They are serving food that screams Middles Eastern and is made with quality ingredients. Kebab platters, Hummus - Falafel Baba ganoush , Lebanese Okra stew , Cous- cous with Moroccan Vegetables and much more delicious choices Mediterranean Buffet at Cafe On 3 they know the best spices to use for our favorite dishes. If you want authentic and delicious flavor and are new to the world of spices and herbs, stop by Cafe on 3 ! They can give you the flavours you want in many different options—try out shawarma , falafel or curry for a tasty and delicious meal. My favourite among all was the Cinnamon Roasted Pumpkin soup flavourful and different , Middle eastern spicy potato salad very spicy and great taste In the Mains was Egyptian National dish with rice macaroni with spicy tomato never tasted this before was very excited and it turned out good . Mediterranean Meals never fail to surprise us and I have a sweet tooth with landed me on the dessert section best from all were Orange mousse slice and rose phirni ... In total surprise for my palate and experiencing the all Mediterranean food in one go was amazing , A must be recommended Cafe on 3 Holiday Inn Mayur vihar for all together a new experience .

Was in this part of Delhi, Mayur Vihar, with family to visit an ailing family friend. On the way back my little bundles of joy insisted that ‘Dad’ we need to eat out. Browsed Zomato and zeroed on Cafeon3 as they were having a festival called ’Jashne-Eid. INSIDE A quick look around and one could see a live & very clean and crisp Bhajia counter dishing out some crisp pakoras of different varieties plus a shawarma counter alongside. A separate cold counter displayed an extensive spread of salads and freshly cut seasonal fruits. My better half as expected was all around the chat counter feasting on the golgappas and chaats. While interacting with the Chef Mr Rajender, we were told that the Eid festival was on for 3 days and the focus was to bring the charm and flavours of Old Delhi food to the restaurant guests. When you speak of old Delhi flavours, one chicken dish which instantly comes to the mind is Aslam Chicken , the chef had prepared his own version of Aslam Chicken and boy what a treat it was. One bite of these beautiful morsels of chicken and and the taste buds were delighted to the core. Excellent is the word. With the first round over, It was time to move on to the mains which included dishes like Chicken Jahangiri, Biryanis, Keema Boti, Dal Mughlai +++. I personally laid my hands on the Keema Boti, Mutton Biryani, Chicken Jahangiri. I am famous for being a hardcore non vegetarian, however the look of the Dal Mughlai was so inviting that I couldn’t resist picking up the bowl and fill it up. The Biryani was simply put outstanding and the Dal Mughlai was a revelation, a complete delight for the taste hormones. Khameeri Roti was the order of the day and went well with the Chicken Jahangiri. I am always smart enough to leave a little space in my stomach for the desserts. The dessert counter was extensive but I had my eyes set on the Seviaan and the Shahi Tukra which were a perfect end to a satisfying meal. I must mention here that the chef Mr Rajender and the F&b Director Mr Choudhary were kind enough to keep my little ones busy with shakes and ice creams and juices while were indulging on the delicious food. Highly Recommended.

What makes a excellent buffet is food combined with an urge to visit once more: Variety of Food , Food Quality , taste , Pricing ( we got 1+1 deal ) , Seating Comfort , Service , Bite Size

Café on 3 fulfills all the requirements 100%

To name a few dishes were rogan josh , cheese and Corn Samosa , Grilled fish , Tandoori Chicken , Dal makhani
deserts ( not to miss Strawberry ice – cream . it had real strawberries ) cakes , indian mithai
.

Chef R Chauhan ( Rajender Chauhan )personally visited to take feedback
.infact he made us try their keema pao , patisa , gajar ka halwa all specially made . though they were not a part of their menu but since it was lori so welcome gesture and we really liked it

Golgappa had filling of mashed potato ( sounds different but tastes so good , infact changed the dimension ) . Rogan josh was so well cooked that the meat was falling off the bone instantly upon picking up . Perfect mix and match of salt and spices , not too bland not spicy . All these things make food delectable and enhances the taste bud

Overall a very good experience

Plus they are running 4 festivals back to back in the month of January, 2020 ( all for Dinner ) . Time to taste the delicacies and experience the offer

Writing this review sitting in the restaurant and waiting for the service. They almost are clueless about service. Don't have much variety in their buffet spread and not worth the money they are charging.

Naam bade darshan chote

Visited this place for our anniversary dinner and the experience was amazing... The Ambience was simple but classy... It had amazing rooftop garden and pool view... Both signature dishes chicken tikka pizza and siti wala gosht were delicious... The pizza was perfect thin crust wood fired pizza... The presentation and service was also commendable... A great choice for family dinner...

You will be tempted to go to this restaurant by looking at the ratings that this place has. I was tempted too but the ratings just did not justify the restaurant. Hence, it made me believe that the ratings here are paid ones.
I have given one star for good customer service as that's the only thing that this place has to offer. So, if you talk about food :
Starters - There were only 4 starters , 2 Indian and 2 Chinese. All 4 of them were fried starters.

Main course - decent options but I certainly did not came here to eat multiple items of main course. I (or anyone else also) can't have chicken curry , Rogan gosh , so many vegetables.

Desserts - average taste

Overall not recommended at all. Will never go to this restaurant again.

Restaurant manager and chef had courtesy to take a follow up on the feedback given in the restaurant. Staff was good.

Everything. I would say authenticity was maintained giving a desi touch like we cook food in village. I would definately recommend as what's good ought be appreciated only.if u r desi food lover.Though on other days u must be seeing various variety of chicken and specific veg and non veg salads for everyone stage.

I visited this place last week with my friends. Its located on a third floor of holiday inn. Was really surprised to see the ambience. It was too good. The waiters and staff were respectful too. We ordered Pav bhaji , Chole kulche and papdi dahi. All the dishes had a wonderful taste. It was basically a buffet so my plate had kadhai paneer and dal makhani. Dal makhani was delicious and the paneer was also fresh and soft that melted on our tongue. Will really recommend you whenever you are in mayurvihar.

Cafe on 3 is one good place with cafe feel, multi cuisine & still provides comfort with different sitting patterns & portions. The ambience and the light music that they play just adds to the joyful time there. The staff here was very attentive and polite. Among the shakes i choose the chocolate shake ( it was good creamy one ). I really enjoyed their veg pizza ( it was very cheesy). The papdi chaat stole my heart. It was just perfect.
Every dish was fresh and delicious. All in all our experience was a good one. A 5/5 star rating from my side. Will totally recommend. Will again visit here soon.

I recently attended the “Bahar-E-Eid” food buffet at Holiday Inn’s CafĂ© on 3 and was overwhelmed to see the variety of food offered by Holiday Inn.

The main course and the sweet were specifically setting the theme.

There was a load of variety to eat, starting from soups to chat counters and a live Lebanese stall. The salads appeared delicious and were presented beautifully. There were other Indian starters too, like chicken tikka, which I could see became favorite of all the guests.

The Main course was divided in to two section, Indian Mughlai which was the Eid special and Chinese main course. Both had really great delicacies to offer , but suiting to the occasion we opted to eat the Mughlai dishes.

Biryani was great and Mutton was lip smacking. Chicken and Dal were equally good.

Sweets seemed endless and the staff was pouring in something new as soon as a tray would perish.

Both the Indian sweets and the bakery items tasted amazing.

I appreciate the quality, variety, taste offered by Café on 3.

Its was a real great experience.

Was invited by a friend to enjoy their lavish buffet on the occasion of EID.

I was amazed to see the dishes. Starting from fruits, salads, indian chaat counter, live shawarma in making, both veg and non veg main course dishes, mocktails, yakhni soup and desserts all were there.

So I tried almost everything in very small portions to so that nothing is missed out.

Yakhni soup was the best. Rest all other dishes were up with loads of flavours.

Best hospitality service and post overeating, they did served green tea which I really appreciated.

My dinner on weekend went in trying delicious food.

I tried Cafe on 3- Holiday Inn for the first time last night and the food was scrumptious, freshly cooked and very well presented. The servers were very attentive. The restaurant looked to have been recently decorated for a special festival, I’m assuming it was the Eid celebration. I ordered shawarma first which was delightful then ordered 2 mocktails for me and my friend. Later we headed towards the buffet where I tried both the chicken and lamb biriyani along with murgh khada masala and paneer makhani. The chicken and lamb pieces were tender, rich with spices and flavour and the rice itself had a unique flavour to it. They both had a great consistency and very little oil. The paneer was the best I've ever had before. We ended up chosing the lemon cheese cake and tiramisu for the desert and by the end of the meal we were planning our next visit.

We recently visited this place and it was just a lovely experience! With amazing staff and service, we were happy to visit this place. Also along with that, we had a lovely time having the amazing starters, main course and the desserts. We also tried many cuisines and they had a good variety in their buffet. It was a mix of good food and vibes. The food was really delicious and so were the drinks. We had the lemonade and the apple shake which was just refreshing.

Amongst the food, the main course delighted me a lot, with an amazing blend of biryani, and among other things, mutton and palak paneer. They serve thai, Mediterranean and north indian delights!

Having a gluttonous bent of mind, makes you step into indefinite places, serving not so good to wowsome food. Acknowledging one such wholesome, excellent experience that I've been having for the past one year is at #HolidayInnMayurVihar . So #CafeOn3 has never , read again, never failed in serving awe-inspiring food at sweeping off the floor price, that I look forward to attending their eccentrically done food festivals all the time.

Take it from me, the on-going NH-24 #DhabbaFoodFestival will make you lick your plates! It was certainly long that, we've been craving for indigenous street food andddd here it was..aloo, gobi, paneer masala paranthas, anda pyaaz omelette, assorted pakoras with kullad chai, chilled bantaas, angethi heated food and what not!

Laze no more guys and throng upon CafeOn3 soonest !
So today we went to Cafe on 3 which is an all plush restaurant located on the 3rd floor of the Holiday Inn hotel. They had their dhaba theme running on by the name of dhaaba on NH24 where their were mouthwatering dhaaba delicacies on offer. This was a buffet and we had plethora of tasty items to choose from. The menu had starters, main course , desserts , live counters , bar and chaat. We started our rendezvous from the mouth watering golgappas then moved to the starters and then the dhaba items where we had mutter paneer , kadi pakora , mix veg etc. Now finally the dhaba entourage ended with the desserts .
The service was exceptional with delectable food items. The staff is very courteous at cafe on 3 . Really a great evening enjoyed with family and friends.

The buffet system is great and the food is just amazing. The ambiance is equally excellent and the staff is really cordial and courteous. In the main course, we tried the murgh biryani. If was aromatic and really good. The corn salad was also delicious.

For the desserts, there was a huge variety out of which the phirni was the best. Being a vegetarian, I tried their Chana masala, mushroom Matar, jeera dhaniya pulao, aloo shimla mirch, Dahi bhalla n various other dishes ... All things were phenomenal.

They had vast variety of desserts including different types of pastries, kulfi, jalebis, rasmalai n mousse.. which gave perfect end to our evening.

Totally loved the food and the service.

In starters we tried some Chicken tikka, Grilled fish, Andda cutlet, paneer tikka, pakode, Murthal ke paranthey etc... My family and I went for a dinner buffet to Cafe on 3. On the whole, the food and the service were just about above average. The buffet range was especially limited for the vegetarians among us, and it seemed a little muddled up even on the non-veg segment. In the dessert section, the pudding was decent but the Indian dessert — halwa — was absolutely ghastly. Also, the buffet had no beverages, not even fresh/canned juices. Over all, not inspired and I doubt I’ll return here soon.

I visited this spot with a lot of my companions and the general experience was a vital one. The staff were better than average and agreeable and the extraordinary climate simply set my state of mind right. The great music and stunning nourishment just added to it.The place pleasant and very and offers a ton of dishes..

I went for dinner with my family for my father’s birthday. In my opinion the menu is really restricted for Al a Carte, you don’t have much options, but the food is extremely good in taste. Only drawback here is the service. Every time you have to call the server for the littlest of thing. Service is slow. Thumbs up for the food.

Good spread.. And beautiful ambience. Being adjacent to pool is d added bonus.. D spread was elaborate though there was just one non veg starter. But, the quality was well maintained.

Went there with a large family group. The service was excruciatingly slow. Had to wait for ten minutes before getting a dessert spoon. Very limited menu, just two veg starters. For per person cost of nearly Rs. 2500 (inclusive of taxes), the standards were truly pathetic. Will never visit again.

I went for a birthday brunch at this restaurant on Friday. Ambience of the restaurant is just like any other place I used to visit during my childhood days with family. Nothing extraordinary about the place.
Coming to the food option for buffet, they had ample number of things but not to the price they charge.
Servicing of the restaurant wasn’t good either. They were least bothered to clear the tables even after being told for the same.
Overall not happening. Wont suggest anyone. Being a brand name is not always enough, is the thing this restaurant should keep in mind. One can get better options in aero city.

Cafe on 3 is a beautiful completely lit fine dinning restaurant where you can pile up your plate and need to loosen your waist belt. It is a very impressive restaurant with a diversified menu offering the delicious food. Delhi people love the bottomless plate of food, and this restaurant is much sought after offering food endlessly and handsomely, for a set price.
When we visited the place a Kashmiri Cuisine festival was going on in the name of Koushur Saal along with the regular buffet options. There was live counter for Kashmiri snacks with the best service offered. You have a large array of options to select from soups, salads, veg/non veg starters and the list goes on. You can also get everything served at your table piping hot.
We loved their selection of soup and the way it was served. It was very delicious and creamy too. Also kebabs served from live counter were also yummy. They were also serving Sweet Saffron Rice which was the most delectable dish of the evening and is available on this Kashmiri festival day. Their Chicken Tikkas and Paneer Tikkas are also very good and should be given a try. Their fresh salads available with varied options of dips and dressings are also awesome.
We loved their desserts section. The best part was that day special Phirni which was very good being not too sweet. We tried everything ranging from fresh fruits, blueberry cup cakes etc etc.. loved everything.

Being a member of the Holiday Inn group we usually host meetings and go to this business related hotel quite often . They have a very nice buffet on offer and would suggest people to go for that as the Ala carte menu isn't extensive and is pretty limited . Recently tried the Chicken Kathi Roll as an on going promotion . It was decent nothing great and it didn't feel to have to much chicken and instead felt like a vegetable roll . The buffet which we had a few days ago was very nice. Also the service is also great as they even served us the starter on the table which in general no other buffet does. The soup which was a Murgh shorba i tried was pretty plain and was very watery. The starters were pretty nice but they didn't have 2 non veg starter but had 2 veg starters which I found very odd . The veg starters were tandoori aloo and dahi ke Kebabs , both of which were pretty nice . The non veg starter was the Chicken Tikka which was very tasty , a few pieces were dry while the others were juicy . Raste was perfect and had a little spice to it . They had a pretty good range of salads too . The Pita Bread and Hummus are a favourite of mine here as they are so nice . The Chaat section has a make your own chat option and a few basic chaats which are pre made . All of them are nice and tangy as well as appetizing . The salad on offer that day were Fish Tikka Salad , Grilled Chicken Salad , Lamb salad and Bell Pepper Salad , Tenderloin Salad and other veg salads out of which I tried the Russian Salad . All of these were great and if one adds thousand Island sauce to these and it becomes even better . I didn't have the Tenderloin salad but it looked very nice too. For the mains they have variety from Indian , Chinese and Continental . In the Indian section I tried the Paneer Makhni and Bhuna Gosht and both were amazing . I ordered a side of Butter Garlic Naan which was just amazing , freshly made , hot , a bit crispy , very buttery , lots of garlic and fluffy . It was just perfect with the Paneer Makhni which was super thick and flavourful . The Bhuna Gosht had a very nice Bhuna or Dry Roasted flavour with a great amount of onion added in the cooking process. The meat pieces were very succulent too and had a lot of meat . There was a chicken Biryani which I didn't try but others did and complimented it very highly . The Chinese section was very tasty too with options of Veg Hakka Noodles , Chinese Veggies in Sauce and a Fish in Black Bean sauce which was just amazing. The whole Chinese section was great but the veg dish was a bit disappointing as it was quite watery . Finally coming to the dessert where they had many options from Fruits , Indian and Continental desserts as well as cakes . Everything is great in the dessert section . The cost of the buffet is also perfect as it isn't very expensive and if you are a member you can get 50% off on food and 20% off on beverages . The service is also great and this place is really worth it . The reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because of the following things - no ice creams in the buffet , limited options in the starter section and the drinks too . But overall a very enjoyable experience . The ambience of this place is also great .

AMBIANCE

The restaurant is well lit up and clean. It’s has indoor seating but right outside the restaurant is a swimming pool where one may organise pool side parties. A good

FOOD
Mutton Soup (5/5): Very light, well balanced and appetizing.
Chicken Shwarma (5/5) is a must have. Chicken pieces were so well cooked and seasoned. The assortments were fresh and well seasoned as well. Salads (4/5) were nice.
Noddles and chicken Manchurian were superb (5/5) and are a must have at this place. The noodles were very light and properly cooked. The chicken Manchurian had properly cooked chicken pieces, with a nice covering and an amazing gravy.
Rice and Dal (5/5), though a common combination but tasted so well.
Fish curry (4/5).
Chicken biryani, mutton curry were a bit average and needed better seasoning and a better quality of rice.

Desserts were nice: Chocolate cakes (5/5) and pastries are a standout. They are quite rich and one can't stop at just one. The red velvet(5/5) pastry was very fresh with the red-velvet cake layer being very tasty. Firni (4/5) was well made.
Beet Root Halwa (5/5) another must have sweet dish. This was an amazing dessert. The grated beet root was caramalized to perfection with the correct amount of sweetness.

Will definitely visit again for the nice ambiance and food.

They had placed at least 10 varities of deserts - like chocolate brownie pudding with chocolate sauce and orange sauce, chocolate dence cake, mava barfi, black forest cake, souffle, mousse, pasteries, among others.

I also tasted their fresh lime mocktail, which was hands-on!!

This is a must visit place. Located on 3rd floor of Holiday Inn, Mayur vihar, we know for sure now that they were busy curating the food in here rather than names.

The restaurant is known for their multi speciality cuisine. There is a food festival going on in here every month which focuses on food items of on particular state/country. We had a chance to experience the buffet during Peruvian food festival.

Although they have an extensive buffet menu which includes Indian and continental preparations as well, the show stealer was Seco de carne con and Pescado Ala Menier. Both non veg items, while the former is heavily cooked buffalo meat item, the later is grilled fish in Peruvian spices.

The grilled fish will melt in mouth and the texture of Seco de carne con will keep you wanting for more.

A few items of the Peruvian cuisine like yellow potato cake were instant thumbs up while others a bit of acquired taste. E.g. sea food ceviche had meat marinaded in pinapple, orage or strawberry flavors and served in glasses.

The buffet also had Indian food out of which Gosht dam biriyani was my favorite.

There is also a massive variety of desserts starting from malpoa to cheese cake. We liked the coconut fanancier the best because of it's soft and creamy texture and also the presentation.

In the drinks department cucumber tumbler and fruit mood are recommended items. The former is a bit strong in taste (bitter) and bit different, the latter is mango with ice cream.

In all we had a wonderful experience with the food prepared by chef Rajinder and would love to visit again.

~By Invite

I have heard of this place coming up with quite a many events !

This time we went for a Peruvian food festival at this place. Very sophisticated and brilliant idea executed by Chef Rajendra here !

A live counter dedicated to Peruvian Food along with Regular Indian Buffet to give you a homey feel!

The chef was quite generous to help with the food and share his knowledge.

In Peruvian food, we tried Corn fritters, Red chilli and zucchini fritters along with Jasmine rice. The taste was so good that we asked for another round.
We also tried boiled potatoes with herbs which was a part of Peruvian food. There was a live counter for burgers, chicken breast and what not !

Well, the food menu didn't end here. The lavish buffet had starters as Dahi kebab and chicken Malai tikka, followed by indian preparations in which dal was superb and Palak corn was so fresh !

Well, out of all the things, dessert section was my favourite as there were nearly 10 desserts presented.

After a long long time, I had eaten the finest made rabri. It was really good.
Blueberry cheesecake was equally an icing on the cake!

A special mention to mocktail, Fruit mood which is a must try here !!

Thanks for such a great hospitality ! Also, thanks to Mr Sagar for taking care of our needs so well.

We look forward to visiting this place sooner with a new food festival.

Delhi NCR has its own share of star property restaurants which provide irreplaceable dining experience. ‘CafĂ© on 3’ at Holiday Inn, Mayur Vihar is one such eminent brand which is surely going to be in my must-visit restaurant list when you’re around. Having heard quite a lot not just for their delicious menu but some amazing food festivals they arrange at regular intervals, I am glad that I made it to this beautiful place during their 3 days “Peruvian festival” scheduled from 18/01/2019 to 20/01/2019. Food festivals are a strategic move to showcase a particular cuisine or something unique to customers where by the buzz is eminent. Holiday Inn does stands out from its competitors by not just doing just another food festival but with a perspective and a twist to it by showcasing refreshing and health focused menu curated by Executive Chef Rajinder.

Before we were about to start our term, we had an introductory session with Chef who then explained about the theme and also the different dishes curated for this festival. Though the name of the dishes were tough to remember, but were just quite opposite in terms of taste. Very soothing and yum at the same time. Highlight of this festival was to showcase the legendary dishes from Peru, but it also showcased some Indian food as well.

Going with their buffet menu, we started off with some nibbles and starters:
1) ‘Perscado A La Menier’: it was basically grilled fish which was properly tossed in some Peruvian spices. The texture was quite rich and was totally mind-blowing in terms of taste.
2) Corn Fritters: Nothing to go bananas about it. This was corn chunks rolled in beer batter and were then deep fried to perfection. May be avoided.
3) Veg. deep fried: Zucchini and Chilies dipped in Corn flour & Maida and then deep fried sums up this whole dish. Were really tasty.
4) Veg. Burger: This was totally awesome in taste, presentation and qty. Loved every bit of it. Bun used here was Focaccia, which was very soft and tasty at the same time. The burger was filled with veggies that included some lettuce leaves, onions, tomatoes etc. topped with a tikki. Amazing it was. Not to be missed.
5) Subz ki Tikki: This had me at its first bite. Totally amazing in every terms. Be it the taste, the crunchiness or the softness at the same time. Everything was totally perfect in all sense. Go for it.

Moving ahead, we also tried some delicious mains and desserts which were totally amazing:
1) Yellow Dal: super rich protein source. It was thick and was perfectly cooked. Went really well the Rice.
2) Matar Mushroom: mildly spiced and cooked perfectly. Chunks of mushroom were quite good in portion and were punched with some awesome Indian spices. Loved its taste. Not to be missed at any cost.
3) Paneer Makhani: oh my! Clear winner out of all nibbles and mains. Paneer was very soft and so was the gravy. Complimented well with plain rice. Tasted well.
4) Fruit Cake: This was beautiful in all term and tasted very good. Clear winner in dessert it was for me. Have it to believe it.
5) Strawberry Mascarpone: It was good. Fresh cut fruits were served over on a bed of Strawberry cream cheese. Do not forget to miss this.

Overall, the food presented to us was well made and was perfect. Going to visit them real soon again. Good going Café on 3 and the Team!

Food: 4.5/5
Service: 4.5/5
Ambiance: 4/5

~ By Invite

It was a very nice experience and one must try whenever you are around , excellent service by Mr. sagar.

We were here for the Kerala Food Festival recently. And to say, that we were impressed much, will be an understatement. Being a Kerala food lover, it was a a difficult thing to do, to resist this festival.

We started our evening with a round of Prawn Tikkis, served with three different dips. Cripsy outer layer encasing soft, succulent prawn meat, it was a first for me and loved every bite of it. It was actually quite a delicious start to the evening. Soon, we proceeded to the main course. Sea food biryani, mutton roast and chicken gravy. Every single preparation with its signature taste was a celebration of flavours. From the mildly flavoured biryani to the mutton preparation with robust flavours, just the right combination. Loved every bite of it. But then, it was not the complete menu. The fish had a wide range for the fish lovers too. Something I am not too fond of. So gave it a skip.

Add to it, an extremely courteous and competent service by the entire staff. Together, it made our evening so very memorable. Loved every bit of it. Go for it.

My food (read drool) experience at the Kerela Kitchen, a ten day festival, which is being hosted at Cafe On 3, perched smartly on the 3rd Floor at Holiday Inn, Mayur Vihar exceeds all logic and expectations...

Master Chef Rejimon is an artist who presents a fine gastronomic experience for the lucky!

This is precisely cooked food which helps restore your faith in humanity.

And the hospitality is unparalleled...
Perhaps it’s the immediate offer of a drink, rather than treatment designed to inflame abandonment issue.

Or the fact that we are fed delightfully.

Or the fact that it could take me a long time to get tired of this kind of brilliant cooking....plainly put!!

It’s ✅✅✅ on all accounts... not one flaw!!!

#ReviewsByAditti

It was an absolute pleasure to meet master chef from kochi, chef Rajimoni who brought some ecstatic cuisines from God's own country Kerala. I was there to attend Kerala's food festival with my friends. I thoroughly enjoyed the delicacies. I will recommend this to everyone to go and enjoy between 30th Nov till 8th December.

India is not only rich in art and culture but also have an incredible food culture in terms of variety and richness and regional influences. Every state in the country has their special food habits and food traditions, carried forward from generations. The authentic recipes and practices unique to region, tribe and families are important to be preserved and indulged.

Unfortunately in today’s time we are moving away from our traditional dishes and have included fast food in our daily food habits endangering our traditional culinary to fade away.

Café on 3 at the Holiday Inn, New Delhi in its effort to promote Indian food organizes Indian food Festival on weekly basis featuring different cuisines from all over India .last Saturday I got a chance to attend RAMPURI Food Festival and Savored the authentic Rampuri traditional cuisine,

Café On three Is one of the two dining option at Hotel Holiday Inn, one of the top Luxury Hotel in East Delhi , interiors of café On three follows the philosophy of no fuss -Simple modern and comfortable. They also offer regular buffets as, along with the festival spread.

Let’s talk About Food:

As soon as I settled down the Manger greeted me and introduced me to the curator of Rampuri Cuisine festival. She along with Chef had created her amazing traditional culinary surprises for food lovers.

My Rampur food Journey started with Arbi Pakora and palak Pakora as a starter, both were mild in term of spiciness and well prepared. I enjoyed Crunchy Palak Pakora – a palak pakora with less besan and more Palak. We were also served Dahi Batasha, a Chaat lover like me could not have done without second helping.

Rampur cuisine like Awadhi cuisine is more about Non Veg Food, veggies like me are left with limited options –well no complains after Dahi Batasha treat.

In the non veg starter section my friends enjoyed Kacche Ghost ki Tikki and Rampuri Fried Fish.

For the main course We were served Sukhi Daal, Chana dal Ghya, Aloo Fried And begun Bharta, the low dose of spices enhanced the natural flavor of the vegetables and pulses.

Next we were served with Zarda_-the sweet Saffron Rice garnished with Dry fruits. It turned out to be the show stopper of the meal, with balanced sweetness and richness of Ghee.

For the dessert I was taken in by surprise as I tasted Adhrak Keer. This dish I never imagined could tantalize my taste buds by its thick texture and the strong flavor of Adrakh. I loved this unique combination of thickened milk and ginger.(highly recommend)

I also tried Gulati Kheer –a rabri textured Kheer enriched with extra generous amount of grinded dry fruits and roasted in dollop of Ghee, yes! One of the yummiest of the kheer I have tasted till date.

So friends I appeal to you all to make effort to carry forward our rich culinary heritage your own ways and the region you belong to ,and also savor the richness of other states and regions by visiting Café on 3 at Holiday Inn , Mayur Vihar Delhi.

Where: Holiday Inn Mayur Vihar, Delhi

Pic Credits : Pradeep Chamaria for Exatraveller / Exablogs.com

Cafe on 3 gets it's name from the fact that this cafe is on third floor. Went there yesterday to try it's Greek food festival.

The ambience was cool and elegant & service was really responsive.

Special mention to it's chicken shawarma, lemon chicken and chicken tikka. It's non-veg salads were great too.

It's desserts were to die for. Had a great variety . Loved it's khoya barfi, Greek rice pudding and Greek donut.

#Had a really nice experience.

"I just wanted to let you know how much my family enjoyed the cake you made for birthday party. It was truly delicious! The cake looked FANTASTIC! and it truly looked like a harvest treat! Thank you so much for your assistance, we will definitely be using your bakery again in the future....

Surely a place for treating your taste buds. The varieties of food and their appealing placement makes you almost say "perfect". You can literally get the sounds of moaning one you get them inside.

The desserts are a must. They cover an entire spectrum of food varieties with the perfect mix of traditional and modern cusine.

The speciality would surely be the Himachal cuisine and they I could taste the "Ghar Ka Khana", filled with the perfect spice and selected complementing ingredients.

Haven't seen most of the food on the menu anywhere before and surely this won't be my last visit.

A great outlet, with super yummy food festivals! We happened to land here on a crowded evening at Himachali food festival. The steal of the show was the starter - of Gur ki Kachori with Lotus stem.. I think i gobbled up atleast 4 of them :DWhile main course was okayish, the dessert spread was lavish. It had almost 20 different types of desserts ranging from western cakes and puddings to Indian halwas and barfi.Such nice meal and good service makes it a must go place overall :)

Holiday Inn is one of the few places worth visiting in the area. We had been to the Kylin before and this time thought to try out Cafe on 3 this time.

They had a Himachali food festival going on and we were in for a treat. Alongside the regular buffet, they had a full lane of authentic Himachali dishes. There was even a live counter for Himachali puris.

The ambience was beautiful and the music was light for dinner. The mocktails were quite nice and the service was good. What more could you expect?

Full 5 stars!
Manisha
First of all this place is awesome. Cool ambiance, beautiful architecture and awsome view from top.

Let's talk about food now, we have lot of cuisines to discuss but let's talk about something best. Himachali cuisine with authentic Himachali dishes. The Himachli festival makes the place more cravingfull.

Also loved the paneer makhani and laccha paratha with masala chole and deep fried small potatoes. This combination made our night delightful. And the most awesome part is dessert section - pastries, cakes, sweets and halwa.

As for the Mocktails, there were many good options. We tried the cucumber-mint, the cold coffee and beach Lemonade.

Big thumbs up from my side.

They serve some really good food for foodies. There buffet which is of Hyderabadi food festival was amazing and full with varieties. They have something called Aslam chicken which is almost authentic with lot of spices and chillies and buttery gravy. In dishes I loved haleem , kebabs , tikka especially lehsuni and chicken malai which was white gravy.

Not to forget their staff is very courteous and always ready to serve.

I came to this restaurant on Saturday, was semi full and some of the people look like regulars Which is a good thing.

Start off the experience main thing is FOOD, well I could give it 5 but two main things go against the restaurant. I ordered chicken club sandwich with bacon and fried egg, with fries. Well the two things that went wrong were chicken not being obvious and worst of all MSG in food. Now I am allergic to MSG that as soon as I have it for next 2 hours I get constant headaches and this was too instant. Now why would a good restaurant want to use MSG. Anyways this was bad experience if I go just on food.

The ambience was nice no doubt, although I was inside the pool side dining looked very tempting. Restaurant was pretty clean and inviting. Decor is ok nothing too great could use a bit of maintenance.

Service was great the servers were courteous. They explained the food properly and asked me if I wanted any modifications, now that was a first and this was the saving grace.

Apart from excellent service and an ok ambience there is nothing much to report

Restaurant need to understand people come and visit you for a food experience if they needed a service experience they will go to a hotel room.

What surprises me is that people are easily impressed by ordinary food, thou I must confess I am one of them but then the food tastes extraordinary, here it lacked quality. Moment you put MSG you loose quality. Plus the establishment deceives you by not telling you explicitly.

Lovely coffee shop on third floor of holiday inn hotel over looking the pool was a fantastic dining experience.

Visited during the Nizami Food Festival and quite enjoyed the Hyderabadi affair.

I was very happy to try my fav fish haleem, seekhamouri kebabs were nice too. Tried the lukmi, paya shorba and main course.

Biryani was nice and so was the korma. Service is courteous and buffet spread was exciting.

I attended biryani food festival at this cafe, was surprised to see the spread of dishes at display .
Awesome food & hospitality.
Tried galauti kebab, chicken tikka etc in starters , it was cooked with ultimate perfection.
Main course was delightful with various types of biryani, dahi bhalla was awesome beyond perfection.
Tried double Ka meetha & Shahi tukda in desserts which just complimented great with the meal.
An amazing place for buffet.

Right from haleem, to galouthi kebab, to paya, Hyderabadi Biryani, mutton Korma.
In veg there were mirch ka salan, and bagare baingan.
They also had fish

That was the best mughlai feast I have ever eaten.
Loved it.
Will attend there other food fest too

" Cafe on 3 - Holiday inn " was in my list from quite a long time but due to work pressure and busy schedule coudn't make it possible but finally went there on saturday night with few of my friends for dinner. It was in district centre, mayur vihar phase -1 and it's quite accessable. This is one of the finest or you can say luxurious property in east delhi. This place has every single thing which a luxury hotel provides.

Ambiance is pretty beautiful if u look into every second hook. Nicely decorated place, with decent and comfortable seatings. Good for large number of groups. Aur perfect place to spent your time with your loved ones. This place has there own bar, where u can customised your drink according to your preferrence and vice -versa. They also do live screaning during live sports, which is a bliss for sports lover. Also not to forgot they do have outdoor seatings were you can chill and enjoy your meal in open air.

Service is top notch, they look after your every second need very well. Staffs were humble, attentive and working on there toes to serve you the best.

As this place serves buffet so the pricing is quite reasonable according to hotel standard. And this place specifies in Chinese, Thai and mediterranean cuisines.

And i specially went there for the "Hyderabadi food festival" which was specially curated by the top chefs.

Now, what i had -
Salad's which were freshly made by the chef only.

In starter -
I loved there lassuni chicken tikka, mutton kebab and paneer tikka the most. As there is endless option they are serving bcoz of the hyderabadi food festival.

In mains -
I loved there hyderabadi biryani (which was super flavourful), Malai murg (which was soft, juicy and tender), Masala paneer (which was super spicy and a very good option for vegetarians).

In dessert -
I always have a sweet tooth and this was the best part of the complete buffet, i picked up Shahi tukda, carrot and cheese cake. Super flavourful and yummy in taste.

Overall, a very nice experience and some how this whole food festival reminds me of the old delhi charm and the flavour of jama masjid.

Will soon visit to try more from the menu.
GOOD LUCK TEAM !!

The Ambience of this place is really amazing along with the hospitality offered. Tried buffet dinner when the Hyderabadi food festival was going on. The place has plush interiors and lavish buffet dinner. To start with this salads were fresh and tasted good... Tried lehsuni Tomato Shorba it was really tasty and perfectly made with the right amount of tanginess in it. Also amongst the starters tried Chandi paneer Tikka which was really soft and was melting in the mouth. Also tried Hyderabadi samosa which was really different and nice. Hummus much was perfectly made and was really good. In the main course Hyderabadi dal and spinach and corn were really good. The bhindi was average... In the deserts puddings were nice... Rabdi and Malpua tasted awesome... Overall a must go...

I have to confess! I always had this perception (owing to my prior experience) that food in 5 star hotels is always "showy" than tasty đŸ€

And this was true until some time back when regular joints started giving tough competition to these restaurants. Finally the complete kitchen was given an overhaul and boom, we find the tastiest of dishes in the most lavish places.

I was lucky enough to land up in Cafe on 3 in Holiday Inn for their Hyderabadi food festival! The name itself got me drooling and I went over with my foodie friends.

A top-notch place with chick interiors and a lavish buffet.

We reached at 7.30 and believe me the restaurant was packed with foreign crown who seemed pleased and were enjoying the indian varieties.

I started off with lehsuni tomato shorba and chicken salad. The soup was a bit hot for me but the taste was good. Chicken salad was very good with shredded soft pieces.

There was a live counter where the chef was offering Hyderabadi samosa (which on first glance can be mistaken for ravioli) and other was shikarpuri kebab. My goodness! This was yumminess packed in a round tikkis! Absolute winner and melt in the mouth soft.

Then got my hands on noodles which was average but chicken in oyster sauce made it wow!

Chef offered Haleem which is slow cooked mutton with wheat and dal and cooked for almost 12-14 hours. This was very authentic and hard to believe that its prepared in a star property!

Then I tried paneer masala which was one of the best paneer dishes ive had in a while.

Another star dish was aslam chicken which was highly recommend by Chef Rajendra and yes ever bit of it was worth it.

Biryani was really good and flavourful and so was nizami chicken. Bread were wonderful!

Had couple of mocktails but they were all average.

I was too full to try much of desserts but liked sewai a lot.

The perfect calm ambience with courteous staff and delicious food with company of good friends - IS LIFE!

This is one hell of an amazing place. I went with a group of friends on a birthday celebration and loved their buffet spread. We had Hyderabadi cuisine as it was their food festival. Some of the honorable mention were the live counter of Hyderabadi mutton Kebabs, haleem and samosas. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian varieties were tasty.

The snacks and Main course section is a huge one with so many varieties and options available for everyone. We very liked their paneer currries, fish curries, dal gosht, Hyderabadi Biryani and of course the well decorated and crafted deserts. The breads they served especially the khamiri roti is very very good. The lacha paratha was well toasted and crisp. The salads are also very fresh and healthy.

This place is really good for celebrations with family and staff is also polite. Service is super fast. I will recommend to go in their food festivals which are really good and they are jam packed with mostly international audience.

The cafe situated on the third floor of Hotel Holiday Inn, hence the name Cafe on 3 is good place to enjoy your evening with family or friends. I went to try their buffet on a Saturday night. I loved their Salad section. Every salad was very delicious. In Starters I loved their Paneer Chamcham. They also had a live Hyderabadi counter. The counter keeps on changing based on the occasion or festivals. Though there were so many beautiful looking, templating desserts but I only liked the Indian ones like Sevaiyan and Shahi Tukda.

A nice buffet restaurant in Holiday Inn hotel, mayur vihar...I visited the restaurant on a sunday evening for a dinner...there was this food festival going on there, buffet was also set up but for add ons there were separate live counters for street foods of India, lithi chokha, matar paratha and a few more authentic UP, Bihar food. I had some from these live counters and then moved on to the buffet counters for dinner. Though the food at those live counters were too scrumptious and tempting that I had my tummy half filled from those already. Besides, for sweets and desserts too, there were options from those regions. I really enjoyed my time there, wish the food fest with a few dishes of the same servings return soon.

OK! 1st of all I would like to say that the food here is extremely delicious...

I was here on tuesday for dinner, there was this bihari food festival going on...bonus for us...we got to try litti chokha, matar paratha, matar chat, gol gappa, bhelpuri, jhalmuri etc...I just loved it all...

having all those bonus delicacies, we were half full already, but still got to the buffet counters for proper meal...they had North India, Continental, Chinese and Thai food on the buffet with some salads and starters, followed by sweets and desserts...

In India, you find a different cuisine as you travel for over 100 kms in every direction. Every district in its states offers exquisite flavours for food lovers. Whether you are a vegetarian or non vegetarian, whether you eat spice or bland food, there is something for everyone in the regional cuisines of our country.

Delhi also has been recently waking up to regional cuisines from all over the country and we experienced many festivals catering to Kashmiri, Awadhi and Mughlai cuisines at different locations.

But what really was missed was food from the eastern states, particularly Bihar, Odisha and the northeast. Fortunately we have a festival featuring food from Bihar currently going on at CafĂ© on 3, Holiday Inn, Mayur Vihar. The festival “Purvaiya” is being put together by Chef Sanjay Mishra of the hotel and food blogger Maneesh Srivastava.

Purvaiya literally means easterly winds, and when the easterly winds blow, they bring happiness and fragrance from the East. And that’s what is happening at this ongoing festival of flavours from Bihar. Kool, fresh and fragrant breeze from the rustic kitchens of Bihar mesmerised me and in the end left me with a overstuffed tummy but with a unsatisfied soul wanting more.

I have been exposed to Bihari food since my childhood. My Nanihal was in Bihar and we used to get regular supplies of exotic Bihari sweets like Sattu gola, Thekua, and others from my Nani. When we used to visit Nanihal in summer holidays, we used to feast on littis, kachari-moori, lavanglatas and many other items.

And when Café on 3 organised this festival, it was a must to attend for me. Though the festival is a-la-carte, the range of signature dishes from the state is vast and they add new dishes every day.

The moment we entered I was overwhelmed by the mustard oil fragrance and the sight of Littis at the live counter. Litti Chokha is perhaps the best-known food from Bihar to all of us in Delhi and Noida. Littis are round dough balls stuffed with sattu which are either roasted or deep fried, eaten with mashed veggies or chokha (potato, brinjal or tomato), green chilli pods and diced onions. Non vegetarians can eat littis with mutton curry or stuffed with keema added to sattu. At Purvaiya, litti was served with onions, alu as well as tomato chokha.

Other dishes at the live counter included Dal Peetha, the Bihari version of the rice flour dumplings (shaped like Nepali momos) and Tarua and both were genuine delicacies.

As I moved inside the café, I was pulled in by the sight of a huge spread of authentic Bihari sweets which include my favourite Parval ki mithai, and Khajas. Other sweets that were on display and waiting to be picked up included Boondi, Kantua (special type Gulabjamun), Sabudana Kheer, Malpua, and so on

This was the counter where I spent most of my time while at the cafĂ©, and my plates saw a number of refills. I loved the Parval and Khajas – they were made to perfection. The chef and his team deserve a round of applause from me for this.

The pungent aroma of mustard oil from the nearby Khomcha (food stall) was now disturbing my attention. On the khomcha various types of chaat like Aloo Matar Ghughnai Chaat, Jhaal muri, Chuda Ghughni and Gup Chups( Puchkas or Golgappas) were being served.

Jhaal muri and Matar ghughni are favourites of everyone in my family. I also recalled how badly my mother used to love these.

Ghughni made by the team here completely matched the taste and consistency with the ones, you normally get in Bihar. Jhaal Muri was incomparable with anything else. Served in a waste paper rolled into a cone shape, the strong hint of mustard oil (which I very badly love) energised me and I finished up the serving quickly.

With so many street snacks and sweets, I was almost full. But then Mr Suprabhath Roychowdhury, director, F&B and Ms Shikha Singh, manager, Marketing and Communications insisted that I try a few of the main course dishes too.

The main course spread was huge and I settled for small portions of Lal Saag with Chana, Colocassia (arbi) leaves in masala gravy and Aloo in tomato gravy and boiled rice.

As already stated I am a big time lover of the rustic beauty of Bihair cuisine. And this culinary journey really was overwhelming. In the end congratulating Chef Sanjay Mishra but still being pulled by the hypnotic spell, I bid bye to the ever smiling staff at the café.

I know the time is very short for this festival; it is on till tomorrow, 8th September 2018 only. But I am sure all the food lovers will come and try out the rustic yet exotic cuisines.

I am regular customer of holiday inn but today thought to have lunch buffet as i was really tempted to have it.
Firstly i want to start from the deserts which was really good.
Second the starters were limited but good in taste.
Third the main course i didn’t find that good.
The biryani was not authentic it was grilled chicken which i had in starters mixed with rice. The noodles was hard may be it got more heated & the staff haven’t noticed to fill it. The salt was more in some food items.

Have met chef and told him all.

Had buffet breakfast here and dinner with family. Breakfast buffet was extensive, food very good quality and service excellent. Dinner was equally great. They have a buffet but we chose from al a Carte menu. Indian dishes were excellent and burgers and pasta also excellent. Children eat for free in August which is a bonus.

A decent place. One can always try. The buffet menu is quite extensive but not everything is delicious. I did like the ambience, specially the outdoor sitting. I wish they start serving food near the poolside.

I have been many times to Cafe on 3 at Holiday Inn Mayur Vihar . It is a excellent place to dine. Service is excellent . The Managers i.e Mr Yogendra , Faisal , Naushad , etc are all very nice and make a customer feel comfortable in all respects while he dines at the cafe. The preparations are marvelous and I request you to have this exotic experience at least once and you will never ever forget it . Nice place to dine with family also.

This is comparatively a small sized restaurant on the 3rd Floor with a capacity of around 70 PAX adjoining the swimming pool. Four of us visited Cafe on 3 on Indipendence day for lunch and it was bustling with people and during the next hour or so all the tables were occupied. nice presentation on all the food counters with tricolour as the theme particularly on the salad and dessert counters. Among the non veg starters I liked Chicken Tikka and Mutton Seekh Kebab. Fish Fry was too salty and we had to give the feedback to the Chef who later on specially cooked for us and it was nice. There was enough variety for veg as well as non veg salads and all were good. Also had Humus with pitta bread which was also good. In the main couse Chicken tikka masala and fish curry were good. I did not like the Mutton Nargisi Kofta and at our request Chef specially served us Mutton Rogan Josh which was really good and well cooked. Among desserts Strawbwrry Ice cream was fabulous as was Shahi Tukda and Moon Dal Halwa. Service needed some improvement, may be there were not enough servers to cope with the rush and the restaurant was fully packed. Also the circulation area for movement of guests was not enough, they need to leave more open space for that. Overall, a good experience and would like to visit again when it is not so crowded.

Highly Recommended ✌

To settle down with some light add-ons I tried their Watermelon Feta salad, which was a sweet, tangy, zesty salad with balsamic and crunch nuts. Another salad I personally loved from their buffet was House salad made from Artichokes and greens lettuce. They were delicious. A Must Try 👌👌

In the Mains, I would A Must Try and Highly Recommended dishes including, Murgh Yakhni biryani, which was a light yet robust flavourful Chicken Biryani.

Coming over to the Deserts, the counter had endless options.

DilseChef Scorecard:

Ambience & Decor: 5/5*

Food Quality: 5/5*

Food Variety: 5/5* Commendable

Value for Money: 5/5*

Hospitality: 5/5*
