Extremely crowded place since it’s the most famous place in this area. You will always find this place fully packed. Avoid visiting at peak hours or weekends. But most importantly food is worth all the wait. Butter chicken is a must try here.

Always crowded, expect seat sharing. Good thing is they have good management and enough space so distribute customers. Tried their famous butter chicken with roomali roti, wasn't disappointed. It's literally dipped in butter so if you are health conscious please avoid. Quite economical. Would visit again. Worth it.

This is one of the old gems of old Delhi, their butter chicken (not traditional butter chicken) is USP. Which contains lots of butter and roasted chicken with some masala. It is a bit sour and not very spicy but has a unique taste. Now they have one more new outlet at JAMA masjid gate no. 1 which has a good seating capacity. You can enjoy their butter chicken with rumali roti. On weekends and holidays, you will find a big crowd there so have some extra time.

A very very popular place near Jama Masjid mainly for kebabs and different food items as well. A very busy restaurant. One has to wait for nearly 10 minutes to get a seat in this restaurant . Their kebabs were just awesome. The pieces of kebabs were very soft and juicy . It's a must try restaurant in Delhi !! Highly recommended !!

Aslam chicken has fame in old Delhi. This restaurant is located in a street infront of Jama masjid. The staff is good and helpful with the very quick service. As they are in huge demand the hygiene in terms of sitting would be less. Coming to the food part they had few options which includes Butter Chicken, fish, chicken seekh kebab, biryani and few veg option. Butter Chicken is majorly in demand. We have ordered half butter chicken, half plate chicken seekh kebab, paneer tikka along with rumali roti and cold drinks. Overall, the food is quite good and you will love it. I used to visit them on frequent visit and if you are a non veg lover you will fall in love with them too. Note - they doesn't accept online payment so kindly bring cash.

The exact location is this place is in the front of Gate No.1 of Jama Masjid. In the same street you will also find Al Jawahar. The place is good for delicious kebabs and butter chicken. The quantity and quality both are very good even though a half butter chicken is sufficient for two people. The service is quick and fast. At times there is a waiting to get a seat but they have a good and big seating capacity on the 1st floor. The total bill was 550 for two people which is decent and the quality is best. For sweets you can try many shops outside.

Aslam's famous Butter Chicken is worth trying. The Butter Chicken is delicious albeit extremely unhealthy. There usually is some wait in between batches where food is served. The restaurant spreads over mutli-stories and is kept relatively clean. However it does tend to get bit over-crowded and chaotic.

The taste was very delicious as was the hype created by Food Vloggers. You have to wait to get a table. After doing order you will again have to wait for 10 to 12 minutes. Price is very reasonable.

Typical North Indian flavour.. Their signature dish is Butter Chicken which is prepared differently from traditional butter chicken. It's marinated grilled chicken dipped in tons of butter, sprinkled with chat masala. It tasted awesome. Before coming here forget calorie counter at home and enjoy the lip smacking butter chicken. Definitely worth visiting. I had lunch here chicken was tender and fresh. To reach here, never come in car, board a metro and hire a rickshaw. PS: You can't have it frequently because it is overloaded with butter 😋

With time it has lost its charm and become very crowded but the food quality is still good. Although I would recommend skipping it because of 30-45 min wait time

Its marinated tandoor cooked chicken in butter and its on whole another level. Its a must, yes its crowdy but they have 5 floors so you have to wait maximum for 10-12mins not more than that. This place is located near to Jama Masjid on a very busy street. This place offers some great non veg dishes. The shop is well known in the area and almost everyone know about this shop. Aslam has found his own wonderful way of presenting a dish that is neither a tandoori chicken nor the butter chicken. It is Aslam’s version of a tandoori butter chicken. Once the chicken is cooked, the pieces are put in a large bowl. A special masala is sprinkled on top, and then some chutney is splashed over it. And then comes the interesting part. While the chicken is being grilled, some men are heating huge 500-gram slabs of butter in pans. Once the butter melts, it’s poured over the chicken in the bowl, and then served to the salivating customer. Who would have thought, all this year we were having wrong butter chicken. Went to this outlet with lots of expectations and trust me, it made full justice to all the hype. The chicken was well cooked and full of spices and flavors. It was soo creamy with all these butter and cream. Though it is very heavy, but definitely a must try dish. Will be there next time to try their kebabs, those looked delicious too.

The kebabs are juicy and mouth melting the taste is also nice and buttery.chutney is not upto the mark.Behaviour is not right with customers

The food is good but a bit overpriced.... It is full almost all the time but the service is quiet slow and mismanaged also the roomali roti they serve with all the items is cold and very chewy. The butter chicken and seekh kebabs are heavenly. Phirni si average and skip the butter fish as the quality of fish is below par.

I visited this place about a month ago for the first time and was spellbound by the flavours, then I started visiting this place regularly. Recently when I visited this place I was shocked to see that they clean their utensils with the same cloth they use to clean the table. Also the chicken I got was undercooked and had blood in most of the pieces. I had a really bad experience last time.

This is the acclaimed spot in Jama Masjid Area, New Delhi. The spot is little with less seating space and limit. Feel is simply fundamental. Roasted chicken dipped in butter and spices is their signature dish and also must have dish in the region. Kindly attempt it in any event once to encounter the uniqueness of the dish.The costs are nominal. This is street food outlet also very old one so no comments on hygiene and cleanness factors. Service was good. I don't recommend this to people who are health conscious or does not like to much of butter. For others its a treat. Should visit atleast once

I had tried there butter chicken.It was delicious.I liked there way of preparing.It was Good.It was different from other butter chicken.I liked it.And I would recommend everyone to try there butter chicken with rumali roti at the top floor with the best view.😍😍

Have heard about this place from friends so decided to give it a try. The place was busy when we arrived but we got seat in few minutes. The butter chicken was buttery and delicious and chicken seekh kebab was tender and juicy. A must recommended for all

Not bad but one time you can try long time waiting hours and lots of butter the person who is the fan of butter you can try again and again

I did not like thier butter chicken. I mean what was that? Roasted chicken dipped in well of butter. It just sucks. How can anyone appreciate this dish. Me & my friend ordered a full plate and can hardly finish it. Don't try it. Just another over rated place with an over rated dish.
