Review Tres - New Delhi

A super cosy place with the best burgers. Had the crispy chicken leg burger which was sumptuous and Lodhi G&T was refreshing and yum !!! Burger Bun was šŸ¤ŒšŸ»šŸ¤ŒšŸ»šŸ¤ŒšŸ»Ambience and service was on point. Will definitely visit again !!

A small cozy cafe... Excellent service... We ordered Tres special hibiscus and vanilla lemonade, Kombucha sangria, Kombucha and Tropical Heat in drinks. All the drinks were excellent in taste. Tropical heat was the best. In food, we ordered Egg and Truffle sandwich, Butternut squash soup and pan fried spinach and hazelnut ravioli. Everything tasted excellentā€¦

Good service and a great selection of food options. Western friendly food choices. The sea bass was very tasty. They serve bread with dinner. A fun place to try.

I enjoyed a delicious meal. During my visit, the indoor seats were filled with guests. I will visit again. I recommend this restaurant, especially for foreigners.

An early dinner with friends to catch up after a long time and Tres was the perfect venue. The decor is chic and comfortable. The service team is polite and the food is the absolute highlight !! Each dish has its own unique character and flavour profile. There is a fusion of cuisines but it is so subtle that it all blends in perfectly! We dined for more than 3 hours as we were so comfortable and dishes and drinks kept flowing ! A memorable evening indeed.

I went here with my wife for a Date night and had an amazing time. Courtesy the Chef Jatin Mallick. The food was prepared with so much love. The chef even came on our table to ask if the food was okšŸ˜ some thing u don't see a lot. Right? This was a Bira 91 collaborated event and i was so full by the time they served Dessert. My stomach was full but i still ate the whole dessert because of its Deliciousness. Polite staff, relaxing Ambience. Loved the whole vibeā¤

Had a dinner for two with drinks and appetizer. Spent about Rs 8.5K ($100) including 10% Service Charge and VAT. The prices approach those of a mid-range US East Coast restaurant, so we would expect decent quality and fine service when in a Delhi setting at this cost. The restaurant has an excellent bread basket, one of the better ones we have had in Delhi - served with a flavored spreading butter and a beetroot relish (salty and had a kick to it!) We enjoyed it enough to get a second basket. We had the goat cheese bavarois as an appetizer which is served in a round plattter with a pattern and soft foamy bread, citrus and flaky bread paper. Quite nice and a good find in the Delhi restaurant scene. Cocktails (Delhi 75 and Jagged Storm) were good. Delhi 75 is served with a half-coating of the glass using a flower-based powder, which was tasty accent to the flavors of the drink. Jagged Storm, supposed to have jaggery flavors, lacked a strong note of this element and was not as Caribbean-esque as the menu suggested. While we originally wanted red wine (a pinot noir) to pair with our meal, the wine by the glass selection is quite limited and features mostly mid- to low-quality wines which would not have graced a fine dining table in the US. The bottle of the wine we selected had been open a while and the taste was not worth the Rs 800/glass we would have paid. Perhaps Tres should consider a sommelier consultant or a better wine importer? They could do well to see how Smokehouse Deli serves good wine in Delhi by the glass at an affordable price. For our mains, we had the salmon and the lamb shoulder. Both were well cooked and nicely presented. The potato puree served with the salmon had a strong tartar-based zest which was delicious. The lamb was tender and seemed as slow-cooked as advertised. The sauce was not overpowering and may be mild for an Indian palate. More sauce was however offered which is good for those who like their meat well flavored. The pokchoy the lamb was served with was nicely seared and had a salty zest to it. Overall, if you're looking for almost-fine Western-style dining, Tres nearly gets there. The servers are not as well trained as their uniforms and flourishes initially seem to suggest but this could improve with time. They miss out on the minor details (like refreshing the table water bottle, etc.). Decor-wise it is nothing much but it will do. The music got a bit too loud during parts of the meal, which a fine dining establishment should avoid (if they must have music at all!). The small round tables are also tricky to manage with multiple plates, cutlery and stemware and quite a risk if you're also placing your phone somewhere! I would consider revisiting to try some of their menu choices.

Not the paisa vasool, it's quite expensive for the quality we got. It was not bad though

We didn't have reservations and the place was fun, but the manager was very accommodating and found us a spot. We had the cheese fondue, which was great, as were the cocktails. A very nice place for an evening out, if you are in your 30s or older.
Akshit Tripathi
Family friendly spot. They offer an absolutely amazing service and a cozy atmosphere. The quality and taste of the food is perfect so the prices are higher accordingly. Ideal for celebrating a special occasion.

Great cocktails, wonderful location, brilliant food, quick service, good music and overall an experience that needs to be repeated! The stuffed pasta pyramidini was absolutely brilliant! Perfect with charcoal dough, stuffed with tomato and with the burratta and pesto oil, good portion, great taste. The veg small plate tasting platter is with a try and the Timur Gin sour as well as Three are must try cocktails. A table reservation is highly recommended!

Outstanding food, ambience, and service. They clearly put a lot of thought and originality into every aspect of the experience. Really ideal for a nice dinner, and also has a big private room for a larger group! Thank you Tres!

This is one of those places I'd go to celebrate a special occasion. A unique menu with incredibly well curated and well prepared items. Presentation is excellent, from the cork placemats and menu, to the tableware, and of course, the food. The stand out for me was the chicken liver "ice cream", more of a beautiful creamy pate. Sometimes the innovation may not quite work out to one's taste - the scallops could have been served a little better but again, this is a matter of taste, not execution. The baby lamb chops were uncomplicated but outstanding. Unfortunately, they didn't have some of their liquor available - we were unable to get the J&B and tequila based drinks. Instead I had a Timur Gin Sour, tasty and refreshing. I would also recommend the panacotta for dessert.

Just the Best. The menu is new. A few changes. Was totally lost on whether to stay with the favourites or be adventurous. Sampled bits of both. Everything was just spot on. Big Cheer to Tres and it's amazing team

This place is an oasis of great food, presentation and ambience in the middle of Lodhi colony. We tried their set menu and it wasn't disappointing at all. The portions were manageable while the food was nothing less than sensory. Only reason I am ranking them less than 5 stars is because of their coffee, which was utterly disappointing.

A small cozy cafe.. *Delicious*āœØ. Western friendly food choices. All the drinks are excellent taste šŸ’Æ We ordered Kombucha and tropical heart in drinks.
Anshul Nagpal
Amazing place with excellent ambience and proper services. Full paisa vasool kinda place.

Everything about this restaurant is outstanding! We only went here for a dessert but we just couldn't stop at one. We had the tiramisu and the chocolate ganache, both of which were exquisite. Although given a choice, I'd chose the tiramisu. They're beautifully made with each detail taken care of. The tiramisu has around 6 components that complement each other perfectly. Undoubtedly, the best dessert I've had yet.<br/>Along with it, the ambience is so calm and relaxing. We sat under a tree on a good weather day and we couldn't have asked for more.<br/>They've got exceptional service too. Always polite and prompt. <br/>Can't wait to visit again!

Its a European cuisine fine dining restaurant with one lf the best ambience I have come across. It is indeed Luxury with unique dishes. Tried its 24 hour cooked chicken in barbeque sauce which was so scrumptious. Mushroom eclairs is a unique dish with beautiful flavours and must be tried. The salad however was nothing special.<br/>The above desserts have creme brulee had four different flavours and all were pretty good. The ice cream bar was in dark chocolate and dark chocolate lovers would totally relish it. Hazelnut pastery was in milk chocolate but was okayish.

They made our evening super special with the amazing food . And the food was Packed with all safety precautions . Canā€™t wait to order again .

Loved the food! Went there with my dad, and he had tenderloin steak whereas I had some sea food platter dish (I cannot recall); we ordered wine and Bailey's and loved every bit of it! The food quality was high and frankly one of the best dine ins I've had in Delhi. The only disappointing thing was the dessert platter.I am a sucker for desserts, and I appreciate quality as well as quantity.Sadly the quantity was baby portion sized and the quality was okayish (not that great, I would have preferred the macaroons to be soft and buttery and wholesome, but they weren't :c ).Still 5 stars because the staff was prompt with their service, friendly and knowledgeable when it came to the food they served.Would definitely recommend it to friends :)

Ordered from Tres on my sister's birthday & they just made our day! Kudos to the chefs for such delicious foods & the amazing packaging. We received the food fresh & warm and they were a delight. Ordered the slow braised lamb, prawn linguine, juju chicken & double cooked chicken breast, and for dessert the mango panna cotta & peach frangipani cake. Timely service by Zomato is also appreciated. Loved it, will definitely order again.

THE DRINK: The complimentary immunity boosting beverage was a pallet-tiggling mix of turmeric, ginger, pepper, honey and orange. The sweetness and tang of the citrus elements were in balanced harmony with the sharper spices the drink entaled. All in all, it made for a uniquely refreshing, tasty and healthy start to the meal. I also found it to be an unintentional pallet cleanser between courses. <br/><br/>BREAD BASKET: An assorted bread-basket was promptly placed at the table soon after the food order was taken. It was served with herbed butter and a sweet onion chutney rather than the standard balsamic and olive oil. All breads seem to be baked in-house. The multi-grain choosings were by far the best of the lot. As a picky bread-eater, I can say that none out of the four offerings were overly-bready breads. Apart from the afformentioned multi-grain bread, and to some extent the crusty exterior and chewy core of a second variety, the others in the basket were ordinary. It was thus, appropriately, on the house.<br/><br/>MAIN COURSE: The main course was an order of steak with truffle sauce and garlic tiger prawns with grilled smoke praprika and split yellow peas. The steak was not cooked evenly to the core as per my request for it to be medium-welldone. Having said that, the meat was supple and juicy. The truffle sauce gave it a slight edge over an ordinary tenderloin steak that is a staple at any European pub. The size and freshness of the tiger prawns were of a surprising standard considering the landlocked geography of Delhi. The uniqueness of the dish was exemplified by the base on which the prawns lay. The split yellow chickpeas, vegetable linguini and puffed wheat grains made for a wholesome yet light-palleted meal. However, the smoked paprika was lost amongst other competing flavours. The presentation and plating of both dishes were on point, and friends would be envious looking at your instagram shots of the food.<br/><br/>PEACH CAKE: The warm plum-cherry-ginger spiced crumble on which the caramelized peach cake lay was more eventful than the main cake itself. This, despite the fact that the crumble was neither warm as the name suggests, nor was the fruit in it fresh. The use of canned fruit is not beffiting of a restaurant of this calliber. The cake itself was akin to the skill of a home-maker's vanilla tea cake. The caramelization was also MIA. The saving grace, if any, was the home churnned smoked vanilla and pepper ice-cream which was way too little in anycase. The best part of the desert was the last bite of it that we washed down with an order of machhiato.<br/><br/>OVERALL: All in all, the two main courses made the experience worth-while.

Super yummy food , they delivered so safely to our door step . We ordered corn and bell peppers risotto . The slow cooked leg of chicken is a must try. My husband loved the dil crusted sea bass . There desserts canā€™t be missed .

Food was extraordinary, loved the choices available. My favourite was the pressed chicken sandwich.

The food was delivered following all safety measures. We had ordered the Seafood Rissotto and Dil crusted sea bass and both were yummy. I must say the portion sizes are also good . The mango pancetta was super

A Tres loyalist, I love almost everything on the menu! Special mentions to the Braised Belgian Pork Belly, Dill and Jalapeno crusted Sea Bass and the Chicken with Porcini! Great portions leave you satisfied with the meal, everytime !

A place must visit if you want a fine dine experience. Serves tasty looking and incredibly awesome tasting food . Little on the expensive side but if that is not an issue then every penny you spend will be worth spending .

We had the best experience at Tres. Firstly, the bread basket was exquisite with freshly baked focaccia and other assorted breads. It came with a savoury jam and herbed butter. Then we skipped the small plates and dived right into the mains. We ordered all vegetarian dishes including the Artisanal Pasta, the winter vegetables and risotto. Oh my! They did not disappoint. The food was YUM to say the least and had to personally thank the chefs for the meal. We finished it off with the sorbet platter (note: the passion fruit sorbet was delicious) and the tiramisu (deconstructed and superb). The staff was courteous and friendly. They knew about the dishes and were able to assist us in our order choices. <br/><br/>Definitely going back soon.

updated menu and tried some new dishes this time. the chicken tostada and the mushroom / truffle eclair is worthy of mention and was great. Excellent food and service as always :-)

Itā€™s seems a little underwhelming when you see the places from outside. Once you enter itā€™s got a good vibe.<br/><br/>From the basic old fashion (which come with some nitro gastronomy) to the dessert they have got all correct. I am unable to term what cuisine they serve. But certainly they serve amazing and surprising flavours.<br/><br/>Must haves there is a spinach roll main, tofu main and the deconstructed tiramisu. We were an all vegetarian party so my feedback is only based on that.
Amit
Today was the 3rd time I tried going here, for a quick drink at 6 pm on a Tuesday. The place was deserted, and yet the host harangued us about not having a reservation, and very reluctantly offered to seat us at the bar- which I donā€™t have a problem with, but the sheer snottiness of the staff is infuriating. I certainly wonā€™t try a 4th time.
Neha K
The food is so good, it makes me happy! My current go to place for all occasions.

A big thumbs up to this place. I went here last Saturday with a friend and was happy with my decision. Great food, great service and great ambience. I highly recommend it to fellow users. Especially if you want to celebrate a special occasion. Do try their Tiramisu and mulled wine.

In one word - WOW<br/><br/>Superb food and overall dining experience.Ā  From the food to service to ambience, this is a place that I have book marked for when I need to take out special friends.<br/><br/>Kudos to TRES

I was here for a friend's reunion. When the place was suggested, i felt nice. A fine dining restaurant.<br/>To talk about my experience. The staff is very courteous. I was guided to my table. When i wanted a smoke, i was asked to go to the small garden area.<br/>The bread platter was great. Fresh soft breads. We had a few drinks. And the bread with smoked butter and relish was the perfect accompaniment.<br/>For food we ordered lamb chops - soft mince meat on a rib, the calamari and prawn salad, grilled chicken leg and a beetroot and cheese salad.<br/>Food was great. If i was rank what i had i would go with the bread basket, followed by calamari and beet, followed by the lamb and then the chicken.<br/>On a next trip to Delhi, hopefully will pop in again.

An European style menu ......the best part is menu is unique .....the ambience is good as well as the staff
Meenal Narula
This is one of the best places I've dined at in a long long time! The menu is unique, and it is worth taking a risk while ordering off beat dishes. They're all very good. Same with the cocktails! I'll surely be visiting again!
Rohit Malik
An excellent fine dining place which is up-market. They have a huge collection of wines and an interesting a la carte menu. The smoked duck breast was out of this world and the salad of shaved broccoli was mouth watering. The JalapeƱo Crusted Sea Bass was good but could have been better if they did not cook it so much and made it a bit dry. Their deserts of Berries & Cream and the Dark Chocolate Ganache were fingering licking good. The service is excellent. Highly recommended even though a bit pricey.

I finally made it to Tres and what a treat it was! For one the place has the ambience. It actually reminded me of a cute little restaurant in the west. We ended up at the bar and the bar seating is so well thought out that I actually preferred being there! Coming to the food, we got a bunch of small plates- the calamari was fresh and tasted on (a little chunky though, the pieces could be smaller), the pork chorizo was my favorite, loved the grilled asparagus and the lamb chops too. Their drinks menu has an interesting spread- I ordered something called the sunny side up, which looked nothing like anything I have seen before (but was a little too sweet and thick). All in all we enjoyed Tres a great deal!

This is one of the best place to celebrate special occasions or be it spending time with close ones. Great ambiance! Awesome food! Courteous Staff! <br/>We ordered Delhi 75 , a drink which had rose petals on the outside, very light and smooth drink.<br/>And we ordered salad of roasted vegetables which was amazing. In the end we ordered dessert tasting platter which had mini versions of top three desserts listed here. Dark chocolate ganache was heaven! & raspberry sorbet was yummy!<br/>I highly recommend this place.
EatingwithKabir.
Tres never disappoints! This time, we went there as part of Restaurant Week. I was a bit unsure how the Tres experience would be given the 'constraints' of Restaurant Week. But I needn't have worried. The food quality and portions were both very good. We also ordered the Spinach Roulade, which was outside the set menu; it was very, very good. And the dessert was superb:)<br/>Thankyou :)

Have been here multiple times. Itā€™s a great place, probably one of my favourite. I have liked the below dishes.<br/>Goat cheese bavaroise <br/>Josper baked Camembert <br/>Braised moringa <br/>Mushroom risotto <br/><br/>Variety of gin available. Deserts are also good. Only issue is has a small seating only. But that is not too much of a brother for me and probably works well given the fine dine experience they provide. <br/><br/>Will visit again and highly recommend it.
Rahul Soni
Having heard so much about TRES we waited for the right time to visit it and finally planned to go on a friends birthday. The food and ambience did do justice to all the hype but the most important thing the place lacked was the warmth , even after mentioning while making the reservation that itā€™s for the birthday..the welcome seemed a little bland and there was no anticipation to make it special for the guest. Finally we ourselves tried to make it up for to the birthday boy and ordered dessert platter and ice creams , yet again we had to specially mention it the staff to place the birthday regards on the dessert. <br/>Though the desserts were scrumptious however if there ainā€™t no candle there ainā€™t no birthday, right? <br/><br/><br/>In the end you can have the busiest and top rated restaurant people wouldnā€™t come back if they donā€™t feel welcomed!

Brilliant food and amazing cocktails

Had a mixed experience here. The good stuff first - the bread basket was wonderful. The mushroom risotto was really flavourful. The Salmon was lovely. The water chestnut and kale tortellini was outstanding. I loved the beetroot essence - not sweet and overpowering like beetroot can often be. The dish also looked just beautiful on the plate.<br/><br/>Now, the not so great stuff - the Kombucha Sangria was too sweet and apple juice like. The pungency of the kombucha was lost. The jalapeno crusted seabass was disappointing. It lacked both flavour and character. It also looked unappetizing - just a brown square on a layer of white cucumber foam - one of the saddest plating's I've ever seen.<br/><br/>The lemon tart with java plum sorbet was a let down. The sorbet was overly sweet. The tanginess and tartness of the java plum just wasn't there. The lemon tart was ok - I've had better. The pairing of java plum and lemon just didn't work either.<br/><br/>The baked camembert with plum relish & biscotti would have been better if both the accompaniments weren't sweet. A little more effort and thought into creating really good accompaniments would go a long way - there are so many things you can do with baked camembert - it's the least I would expect from a place as hyped up as Tres.<br/><br/>While some of the food is very good - Tres does need to up their game in other areas.
Neha Lall
Fantastic!!! Loved everything!! The lamb chops need a bit working and the pineapple margarita needs less of the juice to make it a lighter cocktail. But every other dish our big group ordered was a HIT

Visited tres for dinner. The ambience was good though the lighting was slightly harsh and could have been better. The food was also very good and consistent from the appetisers to the dessert. <br/>Here are the dishes we ate : <br/>1. Baked Camembert and plum relish : this is an unusual combination but the cheese melted in my mouth and worked really well with the plum. 4/5<br/>2. Artichoke hearts: another very good appetiser with the right balance of sweet and sour. 4/5<br/>3. Tiger prawns and calamari : this was also a very flavourful dish accompanied by soy sauce. 4/5 <br/>4. Mushroom and truffle risotto: very flavourful and well cooked risotto, with the truffle coming through very well. 4/5 <br/>6. Chocolate ganache and passion fruit gel: The chocolate ganache was very smooth and had a perfect texture, accompanied by a sharp passion fruit gel and sorbet- couldnā€™t think of a better combination! 5/5

I went here for a lunch date with my fiancee and it was well worth the effort of driving down all the way from Gurgaon in the summer heat. The ambience of the place is very chic, and I personally liked it.<br/><br/>As soon as you order the food, you are treated to a sumptuous bread basket, which starts off your meal with a home run. The sourdough bread reminded us of Germany and we knew that we had picked the right place.<br/><br/>The lamb kefta kebabs were my favourite savory dish, which was complemented by the delicious cocktails.<br/><br/>For main course we tried the red sauce pasta and the sour dough open sandwich. The whiskey jam in the sourdough open sandwich is to die for!!!<br/><br/>Last but definitely not least, the Desserts!!<br/>The ice cream platter presents you with a variety of sorbets and ice creams (Do try the raspberry sorbet and the salted caramel ice cream). But what took the cake was that exquisite passion fruit ice cream and chocolate ganache<br/><br/>Needless to say, we both look forward to coming here again and having some more of those complimentary breads šŸ˜‹šŸ˜›

Great place! Great ambience! Do book prior to visiting as itā€™s difficult to get a table on weekends without waiting... situated in the quiet and serene Lodhi Colony market, tres is a beautifully done restaurant with beautiful ambience and cordial staff. The food is gourmetā€™s delight here. The complimentary bread basket is one of the best I have had recently, with crispy freshly baked assorted breads accompanied by butter. We ordered the silken tofu for starters, was very well made and delicious. For main course we ordered the wild mushroom risotto with truffle oil which was quite good. Also we ordered the pasta, which was freshly made and yummy is the word, must try for Italian food lovers... background Spanish and Italian music playing got us into the mood and after some time we wanted to stay for more...:) the desserts here are quite nice too, we tried the tiramisu with ice cream which was freshly made and tasted heavenly.<br/>All in all a great place to visit with family and friends... would visit again... thanks
Crispy Crackling
I love this place. We ordered the mushroom and truffle risotto which was delicious, multiple gin greens, the tenderloin burger medium and the sourdough with the iberico ham and the passion fruit chocolate ganache desert. Food was just sublime. Only thing to point out is I asked for the burger medium to medium rare and I got it medium on the well done side. Other than that everything was DELISH. Will go back for sure.
Madhav Mehta
Duck Meat was not fresh, the sauce was good though. The sea bass and steak both tasted as tho they were served on a flight. The wilted greens were over cooked. Unpleasant experience, especially given all the hype. Miss the old tres!

Nice restaurant with european cuisine and excellent menu! Food was good and cocktails options were worth a try. A big go to place for expats in delhi. Seating is cramped and can be improved. Ambience was alright however the restaurant main dining area was slightly smelly which was strange ...
Akanksha Narain
Thought the price tag for this place is definitely on the higher side, the food is well worth it. If you enjoy fine European dining, quaint places and good wine then this is well-worth a try. You might thing why the appetizer has carrots on the menu but once you've ordered it you'll realise that the produce, the cooking technique and taste explains why they would dare but an unappealing vegetable on the menu!

Tres used to be a firm fine dining favourite of ours 5 years ago when we lived in Delhi. Sadly, the restaurant today seems to have lost its warmth and finesse for good food and service, seeming more like a private equity run venture that's focusing more on style than substance. The service was fine because our waiter was responsive to a point, seeming to go cold after we grudgingly complained about some of our food and drink.<br/>My Old Fashioned cocktail was weak and watery despite the snappy, smoky presentation that caused my neighbour at the bar to order it afterwards. None of the flavours of this cocktail really shone through and I was told by the waiter that it was me not them who was at fault. They took it back, tasted it and said that's how they made them. Ok.Ā <br/>Then there was the liver ice cream which lacked flavour or the oomph I've come to expect from Tres. Give me chicken liver pate with bread and good olive oil any day.<br/>The spicy chorizo pork sausage was delicious but served to us warm, as though it had been sitting out for some time. Other dishes turned up like this too.<br/>The braised pork belly seemed undercooked and was once again served warm. The pan seared sea bass was delicious despite being overseasoned, and the mango puree it was served on tasted overripe and tangy, totally ruining an otherwise good dish. I returned my pork belly for duck breast which was tasty, despite the meat being a little chewy.Ā <br/>To try and save a failing experience, we ordered the single origin molten souffle. Again, great presentation but the souffle inside was undercooked, making for a raw and unpleasant dessert experience. The deconstructed tiramisu was tasty but only in parts. The coffee soaked savoiardi was yum, but the Kahlua jelly chunks underwhelming, making us wonder, 'why deconstruct a perfectly good dish?' Even the presentation did nothing for this dish's appearance.<br/>Please Tres, drop all the fancy techniques and modish cooking techniques, ask your waiters to drop the cold attitude and please get back to solid plates of food where taste is king. Lose the table that you almost walk into when you open the door, and for heaven's sake make your bar look less like a booze stockade. And if you're supposed to be strong on cocktails, might I suggest a retraining. This comes from a fan who would love to see you get back to basics and revisit you on our next trip back to Delhi.

I was excited to know that Tres had reopened. I went there often earlier, and am happy to see that their standards of quality is maintained. The 2 main chefs who I believe are also co-owners are always in the kitchen, and the results are evident. itā€™s just one of those always dependable good meal places either for lunch / dinner, plus itā€™s location is an added bonus. <br/><br/>The place is bigger than before, which means they can accommodate more people. Is perfect for everything, date nights, family events, etc. Iā€™ve already eaten here twice; and have probably tried everything on the menu. The entrees are particularly good and varied, their wine list could do with more variety (especially for people who donā€™t wish to order a bottle), though the last time I went I did order a bottle and the staff accommodated me with something I wanted which was off the menu. The staff is also polite, and has good suggestions to make. Simple, non - obtrusive service. Will keep coming. <br/><br/>Only thing that surprised me is that their menu is exactly the same as before! Perhaps the chefs will change once they get their bearings with the new opening etc, would be good to see them experiment a bit.

It was date night, and my wife & I wanted to try out more things on the menu. So we decided to go with tasting platters. <br/><br/>For the 1st course (tasting menu - small plates) we had prawn & scallop, shrimp & crabmeat balls and lamb fritters. <br/>For Mains we had grilled tiger prawns<br/>And finally for the desserts, we again had the dessert tasting platter + Mille feuille (we really love our desserts). <br/>The food kept getting better as the meal progressed - and the highlights of the evening were the tiramisu and the Mille feuille ! I think my wife might go back just for these 2 items!

Absolutely wonderful. The food, drinks, service quality and the quality and styles of the tableware and food presentation was exceptional. Music is also so important, and the international repertoire including Brazilian, Italian just gave such a natural international vibe to the place. All staff really well dressed, smiling and very attentive. Top Tier restaurant . Will be back many times ! Even though we have to drive all the way from Gurgaon !

(should be 2.5) Four people had lunch. 2 cocktails, 5 food items were ordered and only 1 food item and the 2 cocktails were judged favorably. The rest were at best average. So disappointed were we that no one wanted to try desert.

Pathetic food..... over overly priced dishes. Cocktails šŸ‘ŽšŸ»the only thing good about this place is ambience. Who cares if the food is so bad...

Had lunch today at the all new Tres, what a splendid afternoon, tres has always been one of my favorite places to eat a flavourful meal, but the all new tres definately managed to exceed my expectation even more, I ordered their pork belly, which was absolutely delightful along with the risotto in truffle oil which hit just the right note :) the service was impeccable and the interiors definately elegant and classy. Thank you for such a lovely afternoon :)<br/>

It's been a while since I felt impelled to review a restaurant. Tres ... magnifique ... made me shrug my reticence! A sous vide steak in truffle sauce done just right'll do that to the best of us. Throw crusty & toothsome ciabatta in the mix to mop up that heavenly sauce & the foodgasm that ensues is sonething you'll want to scream about from any available rooftop! Spot on guys ... & a shout out to the exremely clued in & gracious owner/chef. Shall be back tres soon!

Dear Team Tres,<br/>Thank you for a wonderful evening.Ā <br/>Awesome food! Great Ambience and world-class service. The starters are to die for-the braised Moringa is an absolute delicacy! We loved the veg starters better than the non veg ones. And your service is impeccable. Many thanks again!

Tres is a lovely , elegant place with an enticing European menu...a perfect little place to chat up with friends over delightful appetizers and cocktails and dessert, not to forget some really authentic pastas and spaghetti. We sat in the little courtyard where a space has been created under a tree...if you visit once, you would want to go back to relive the moments again and again!

Tres is a cutesy yet elegant eatery located in Lodhi Colony. The interiors are beautiful and give off a really nice vibe. Coming to the food and drinks, they taste just as good as they look! I absolutely loved their dark chocolate ganache and their warm milk chocolate brownie. The place was a bit pricey but it's totally worth it!<br/>Overall, I had a great time here and I'd recommend everyone to visit here at least once.

The most gorgeous tiramisu! A heavenly dessert at every level. The deconstructed version was excellently executed! Good staff, nice ambience. Overall a very delightful experience

Really liked the vibe of the place. Went when was recently new and enjoyed the food. But staff wasn't well trained. Informed us about a dish being vegetarian when it was non veg and weren't apologetic about it one bit later.

After much persuasion from Arjun Sawhney - he finally got me out of the office to go try the much talked about and hyped Chef run and managed "Tres" in Lodhi Colony .... and it did not disappoint.Ā  Everything about Tres is on point... I loved the tables, the set up, the look and feel, the open to sky private dining area.<br/><br/>Coming to the food - Arjun had a clear soup which i did not try, looked good.Ā  The warm salmon salad was really nice, the produce stood out and gave a feel that the kitchen is being run by very senior chefs.<br/><br/>The mains - comfort food, a burger and open sandwich.Ā  Both good, beautifully presented.Ā  I just thought the open sandwich was a bit on the sour side (could be capers).Ā  Coming to the ice cream sampler for dessert - this just stood out.Ā  The presentation, the flavours, the innovation.Ā  Simply outstanding.<br/><br/>I thought the pricing was reasonable - all the above for just a tad under Rs. 3,500.Ā  Met with two of the three behind Tres - Chef Jatin and Chef Julia.Ā  The rating would have been 5, the service was a little slow and there is no option of rating it 4.5 anymore on Zomato.

One of the best meals I have had in some time. Everything was top notch, loved the presentation and quality of food. Amazing desserts as well. They have a tiny outdoor area which is where I am sitting when I visit them next time ā˜ŗļø

Tres is one of the best restaurants in Lodhi Colony. Gorgeous, elegant, marked with a unique menu of interesting dishes, this place offers complete gastronomic pleasure.<br/><br/>The seating area is not large, so we had to sit at the bar, which was comfortable enough. The service was extremely poor, which is why this place doesn't get a 5 star-rating. They had a table for two available but didn't give it to us because it was reserved for a later time. However, those people didn't show up till we were there. The staff completely ignored us and took forever to serve.<br/><br/>Anyway, the menu had some really interesting options. For starters, we had the potato confit with the Tres Special drink (non-alcoholic beverage). They also served us a complimentary bread basket with butter and a delicious chutney. The drink came in an interesting glass but was ok it terms of taste. Just a mix of fruit juices and soda that wasn't too sweet. The bread basket was ok-the bread was too hard but the butter and chutney were excellent. The potato confit was delicious and presented beautifully but it had a rather strong flavour of truffle oil and wild mushrooms.<br/><br/>The main courseĀ was cauliflower roulad which was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted. It was very oily though but very unique. Served on bread with mashed cauliflower and crispyĀ corn topped with a creamy sauce-it was really filling and lovely. We also ordered the spaghetti Aglio Olio with vegetables, which was good but a little dry.Ā <br/><br/>Overall the food was excellent but very pricey.Ā <br/><br/>I would definitely recommend this place despite its shortcomings. The service really needs to improve.

This place have to be on your bucket list. Plan your evening here when you want food for your soul and peace for your mind. The ambiance is so apt for an in depth conversation and the food is served very nicely.<br/>The first thing you will notice here is the way it is presented to you, you will be warmly welcomed and servers pretty much know what they are doing. Being a vegetarian, I went with less expectations *my mistake*. The place is yet to receive it's Alcohol Licence but the food definitely makes up for it. I would highly recommend trying Goat Cheese Bavaroise in small bites. In dessert Souffle was on point. Chef Jamsheed, Julia and Jatin have done an amazing job.

4.5 rating...Nice place! If you game for semi-fine dinning option then this one is good. The appetisers were nice and the cocktail (Toddy) was well mixed. Smoking area available, if you wanna sit out. Have not tried tried the main course so no opinion for now. Yes will go again!

Beware of the chef! This place was honestly terrible. We had made a reservation for my friendā€™s birthday but the restaurant misplaced her booking and then didnā€™t give us a table. On her birthday! They admitted to their mistake but refused to accommodate us. When we said we may post a negative review about them the chef (the younger male chef) threatened my female friend and became pretty aggressive. I really canā€™t believe how this place exists. Iā€™m sure the food may be nice but the garbage service and chef ruined our experience. We will never be back.

Double cooked breast of chicken with porcini was a blast ! I mean Iā€™ve never tasted something so European within the Indian border. This place has opened up and how. Since I was in a hurry all I could do was this dish and a gin and tonic. Loved the expanded space the taste flavour and the ambience. A must must visit place.

So we decided to try this place yesterday night for a post dinner desserts and coffee.<br/>Firstly, they have done a great job renovating the place.<br/>Secondly, we had almost all the desserts on the menu and I have to say that each one was as amazing as the one before. Although my favourite has to be the matcha and lemon cake with basil icecream. The flavours were just so perfect. And the basil icecream was really a standout.<br/>The coffee and the bread basket was delightful as well.<br/>The staff is very polite and courteous. <br/>Definitely recommend it to each and everyone. Tad bit expensive but totally worth it.

As a Food Blogger we get to experience a lot of meals but rarely do we get to eat a meal that becomes an experience in itself. Recently I tried out the Winterā€™s special menu at Tres. TRES means three, standing for the best of 3 worlds ā€“ delicious food, exceptional ambience and impeccable service. It is a standalone Chef Lead Modern European restaurant with world flavours. Chef Julia and Chef Jatin, the executive chefs at Tres, are also the co-owners of this beautiful warm place. ...

Got to know from a friend about this place and decided to give it a try.<br/><br/>The place is nicely done with great decor and it seems proper attention has been given to details.<br/><br/>Between the two of us, we tried:<br/>Pear kombucha<br/>Chicken liver ice cream<br/>Spicy chorizo pork sausage<br/><br/>Kombucha lately has been gaining a lot of popularity and itā€™s funny how much establishments are charging for it. So much for a new health drink šŸ˜‚ Just to be clear, I have nothing against their pricing strategy, itā€™s business after all and I get it :)<br/><br/>Coming to their food, I personally loved their chicken liver ice cream, and also really really enjoyed the caramelised shallot tart that came along with it. The chorizo pork sausage on the other hand was a huge disappointment and the sausage pieces lacked consistency in texture as well as flavours.<br/><br/>While we both didnā€™t like the sausages, my friend didnā€™t enjoy the chicken liver ice cream as well (I guess thereā€™s still time before people would be open to their savoury dishes being served to them cold).<br/><br/>Also their breads (which they make on their own) were very good. I would have i myself with it had we not been heading towards another restaurant for mains.<br/><br/>Overall, had mixed feelings when it came to food and hence the 3/5 rating. Perhaps the next time would be better :)
