Soft lights and a warm vibe welcome you as you walk inside the space. The décor is subtle yet speaks a thousand words. The plants added in each corner only accentuate the experience.  Simplicity is the key word here, so you can find minimalistic seating arrangement. You can be assured of great service with an added touch of warm hospitality. The chef in charge, Mr. Udit has added a creative twist in each dish thus making the experience holistic.
We got to experience a fine taste of luxury at the Chef’s table. The menu was curated keeping in mind the exotic combination of wine and food.
Buckwheat Pancakes paired with Fratelli MS Chardonnay -
Honestly, this is the sort of pancakes that would be a favorite for healthy eaters.  The ingredients were surprisingly respectable. Rather than consisting of bitty, airy and reconstituted mash – they were reasonably soft and golden on the outside. The chardonnay was a top notch choice for the pairing.
Broccoli Makhani served with Grover Vineyard LA Reserve Red

This dish kept its texture really well, cooked with malai marinade and flavored with spices including with tomato and green chili, along with little shreds of ginger. The gravy was absolutely superb, the spices beautifully balanced. The basket of naans, paranthas and rotis breads was also impressive. The texture of each bread was soft and supple. The stuffed naan, enriched with spices was brilliant. The Grover Vineyard LA Reserve was a brooding concoction of matured red fruits and sweet spices softened by delicate oak.

Monsoon was such a unique experience of Indian food that one feels compelled to leave a review. The drinks, food and service was exquisite. We had a quiet and peaceful lunch and every item was great from the Khapli salad to the Madhubani fish served with fragrant pualo. Love Cafe Lota's take on Indian food from across the country. We came with high expectations and were not disappointed. A must try!

Amazing and immaculate quality food. Meat was melt in mouth. Tried the Bombay style prawn, lemon ginger chicken Tikka and a main course. Everything was flavorful and tasted great. The preparation could pass off as something prepared in a 5 star kitchen. This is something which was expected of a cafe lota legacy cafe and it has delivered more than what was expected.

The ambience is great. Good place to sit with light lounge music. The food was delicious. We ordered
1) Tamarind Lemonade - too much ice. Dint like that much. But the taste was different
2) Lemon and ginger chicken - Nicely done chicken tikka with pinch of lemon and grated ginger.
3) Brocolli makhani - The best vegetarian dish I have had so far in any of the restaurants. Plus one for adding pudina parantha. Very soft brocolli covered with malai. The gravy was better than any butter chicken gravy in delhi. Really loved the dish.

They serve saunf and gajjak at the end. :-)

Cafe Lota never ceases to amaze. The traditional indian food created with twist and healthier version .
Their  latest addition is Monsoon in Worldmark Aerocity . Sunday Lunch  at Monsoon was a gastronomical delight. The mocktails and shrubs (Cider Vinegar based drink with soda) was amazing. Our Server Umakant suggested us the right dishes Mulakittathu fish is the Sole fished cooked in Kerala style with a right blend of spices . Beliram Saag  - Mutton cooked in Sarson ka saag with makki ki roti was perfect for the season.Broccoli makhni with Ragi appam. Tandoori Broccoli in Butter chicken curry with soft Ragi appam was simply outstanding. Finished off with herbal tea kapha pitha. Please plan a visit in the last leg of the winter. thank you uma kanth you made our experience better.

Hi Guys,
Tried the food here for the first time and I’m impressed!Coastal cuisine is one of my all-time favourite cuisines and I am super happy that I tried this place. The food here is incredible and SUPERRR YUMMM! It’s by the same group that has Café Lota located in C.P (Connaught Place), I never been there, maybe some of you would have. I tried a mix of non- veg and vegetarian dishes at Monsoon. All are GLUTEN, DAIRY AND SUGAR FREE (except the dessert, that has some traces of sugar I think, even though it’s made with jaggery).
*I need to stop calling this a diet.

Below is everything I tried:

Drinks: They serve something called SHRUBS, which are basically infused vinegars with club soda.

1st one I tried had: Organic Coconut Vinegar, Pineapple, Green Chillies, Curry Leaves , Tonic 2 Elixir and Jaggery.
-This was very tangy like khatta meetha, not for me!

2nd one I tried had: Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Orange, Ginger, Tonic 2 Elixir and Spiced Honey
-This was more for my taste.

Starters: I tried 3 different meats, and please trust me when I say this, all three were cooked to perfection (juicy, moist and tender) and were absolutely flavoursome. If you would really ask me to choose 1, I would go for the prawns and my mom loved the chicken.

1) PRAWN PEPPER STIR FRY: Prawns stir-fried with onions, curry leaves & black & green peppercorns.
2) LEMON & GINGER CHICKEN: Boneless chicken thigh cooked in the tandoor & tossed with lime leaves & ginger
3) MULAKITTATHU FISH: Whole fillet of sole marinated in a spicy Kerala-inspired masala & cooked in the tandoor, served with a coconut & coriander chutney.

Mains:
1) MILLET RISOTTO: Foxtail Millet cooked with mushrooms and kalmi shaak
-I know I have said it earlier that I don’t like risottos very easily, however this was a very good preparation.

2) JACKFRUIT FROM COORG STIR-FRY- Jackfruit marinated in Malabar Tamarind, honey & spices, stir-fried & served with ragi flat appam.
-This is one of my favourite vegetable (tastes like mutton: p). It was prepared very differently, was on sweeter tones, and I actually ended off my meal with this! )

3)TAMARIND FISH: Tilapia fish coated in a tamarind & oyster glaze served, tempered spinach with a moilee sauce.
-This is one of their signature dishes and is super yum! I paired it with red rice.

4)EIB PRAWNS:
Prawns inspired from the East Indians of Bombay, cooked in a spicy red chilli masala
-I love spicy food plus prawns is one of my favourite seafood, so this was awesome for me. It’s in a thick spicy paste form. I had it with both rice flour appam and red rice.

5)CHORIZ PULAO: Organic quinoa cooked with Goan Chorizo sausage, roasted bell peppers. zereshk berries, and served with a sunny side up egg & spicy ketchup (Gluten Free)
-This is for someone who loves sausages! It’s got a very strong flavour and scent of sausages. So go for this dish only if you are a fan of sausages. I enjoyed it.

6)KARHAI FISH:
Pan Fried Tilapia in a coriander & fennel seed marinade served with a “karhai” curry, broken-corn “pulao” & crispy chickpeas.
-This was a bit like butter chicken flavour, and I love butter chicken. Equals, that I loved this dish. The crispy chickpeas gave another kick ass element to the dish. This comes with its own rice, so it’s a complete dish by itself.

Dessert – The Highlight!
KHEER: Barnyard Millet cooked with reduced milk & topped with a salted caramel made with jaggery & roasted almonds.
-Barnyard Millet is also known as jungle rice or swang chawal and smak ke chawal in hindi. This dessert is to die for! It was soooo good. I’m drooling while writing this. It was perfection. I can go there just to have this dessert!

Honestly we went in with zero expectations , and this place totally over delivered in terms of flavour and taste of the food. MUST TRY.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Aerocity. It’s a solid 4.5/5. Their Tamarind Fish along with a butter Naan is like a symphony. So very calming and pleasing.
Their menu may be limited for some that are looking for the usuals. But if you want to try coastal cuisine at its best in an unassuming ambience - with excellent genuine service (ask for Umakant). This is the place to be. Not to be missed and highly recommended.

Most things we ordered were very good - high quality ingredients, elegant composition and some very pleasing plating. Interesting and gentle twists add to the fun and flavour. Scotch egg, lemon chicken and mutton cooked in sarson saag deserve special mention. The minimalist decor, though nice, is a bit bare. Can do with some more colour, warmth and embellishments. Service though generally good, needs a little more attentiveness. Recommended for a day (or night) when you want to try  Indian food with a twist and without the customary oil, grease and overdose of garam masala.

Monsoon is one of the finest restaurants/cafés in Delhi. Each time I visited it and tried new dishes in the menu, I must say it was a delight for my palette. This time I tried their Dal which is chana dal served with Aloo Tuk and Naan (I preferred roti) and OMG the smooth texture of chana daal with subtle hint of spices and crisp sparkly crunch of Aloo went so well together. Let’s talk about drinks, their latest mock tail Asofetida Sour was so refreshing after a long tiring day, the hint of popcorn in a drink was a pleasant surprise 💫 And the staff was really warm and happy to serve, it almost felt as if I’m visiting an old friend. After almost 5 visits I highly recommend this beautiful positive vibe cafe/restaurant 👏 P.S. I would anytime prefer this over a lounge at the airport as it’s only 6 minutes away from terminal 3.

We love the food and drinks here. My husband was born in India and I'm from the US but have been to India 4 times. we all found something amazing to eat and enjoy. Also, very kid friendly and they have a kids menu with idlis and other options. The chef's and bartender take truly traditional Indian food like Thali and Methi parantha and make it so delicious. The drinks were the best I've had in a long wild and really blew my mind on the balance. They had both Savory and sweet drinks, but all balanced. Will be back when we fly into Delhi airport again. I had the non veg thali and it was amazing!!!!

Having lived in North India for decades, I rarely dine at North Indian restaurants. But a look at the menu suggested Monsoon might be unique and different. We dined there with family members who were visiting from abroad, and they loved the flavours, the texture and the presentation of everything. Especially the signature Himachali thalis.

Fantastic, flavorful, creative meal. Really enjoyed the odd-veg kebabs. Kathal biryani was excellent! We’ll definitely visit next time we are in Delhi.

This is one of the best service and food quality I have in India so far. In New Delhi for work and stayed hotel nearby. With 9mins walk to world mark 1 and basement to Monsoon. First time visit and much impression left. The serving team greeted me with a local twist mocktail shot. I visited for lunch, ordered appetiser- cheese croquettes, mutton Masala with tandoori roti, Bhutanese saffron lager (served with small crackers together). Sweet chef and the team end my dining experience with Rice pudding. Mutton masala is nicely done, no mutton-my smell if you know what I meant. Not spicy but the sauce with cheese croquettes might be burning if you don’t take spicy. I’m not too much with Indian’s dessert as it can me overly sweet but this rice pudding sweetness is just nice. All in all- with appetiser, a mutton masala, beer and taxes- it cost ₹1879. I will definitely visit again next time!

I am a pure vegetarian (100%) and would have never visited this place. However, as the destiny will have it, I was at this restaurant with my office colleagues. Overall, 5 stars from my side Food – good 5 star Service – good 5 star Hygiene – good 5 star Taste – good 5 star Location – good 5 star The outlet is situated in worldmark 1, Aerocity. During our visit staff at the entrance greets us warmly, we had few questions and he answered all of them with confidence. Entire crew was very well behaved and did not bother as we have to wait for our colleagues for some time. They even helped me with the Wifi as had to connect with my client. Also notable is Himachali Thali, I have never heard of it before and it was available here under vegetarian options, so I ordered one. They also have a dish called Tinda Curry, I have heard it is good, to my surprise. Owner or head chef visited our table twice, shared details with use and recommended, it was a nice chat with him. At the end when we had paid the bill and were about to leave, he paid us a second visit and offered made of Sabu Dana. I cannot comment anything on non-veg or cocktails. Bottom line, you can visit this place and will not regret.

Arguably the best fine dine experience within aerocity. The menu is probably the most creative menu you'll find in the whole city of Delhi. Don't forget to try the rainbow trout if you love fish.

The menu at Monsoon By Cafe Lota offers a delightful fusion of traditional Indian flavors with a modern twist. Each dish is beautifully presented and bursting with fresh ingredients.
