Maa Tara is one of the best Bengali restaurant in CR park Delhi. It is a well known place for its quality food. They have a lot of different and mouth watering dishes in their menu both vegetarian and non vegetarian. The quality of food is awesome. The prices are affordable. They also have home delivery service. The services are good and fast. The staff is very polite and courteous.
During Durga Puja, I went there for dinner. The behaviour of staff was very good. They have wide variety of food. Very good menu that also says which are their signature items. The Rohi Fish fry was very fresh and tasty. Must try. The restaurant environment was cozy and clean.
The food here took me back to my childhood memories of my visits to West Bengal... Ordered Sukto, Telapiya Kalia and Mutton Kosha with some plain rice. The Sukto and Kalia simply won my heart. The Mutton Kosha was great but could've been better. An overall nostalgic experience for me!
New Visit Alert! Went solo this time to have something different. Enjoyed every bite of my Telapiya Shorshe with plain rice and some green chillies. Shorshe is basically fish cooked in a mustard gravy making it way different from any other preparation and they cooked it finger licking good. Plus, I got some Mutton Kosha with Aloo for takeaway to relish for dinner.
Ma Tarra Restaurant proudly stands out as a haven for exceptional Bengali cuisine aficionados. This eatery holds an undisputed reputation for serving some of the most tantalizing and authentic Bengali dishes in town.
The menu at Ma Tarra Restaurant is a treasure trove of traditional Bengali flavors that tantalize the taste buds and evoke a sense of nostalgia. From classic fish preparations to aromatic biryanis and soul-soothing sweets, each dish is a testament to the culinary richness of Bengal.
However, amidst the gastronomic delight, the restaurant's ambiance falls short of matching the brilliance of its cuisine. The setting might lack the finesse or ambiance of a more upscale dining spot, occasionally detracting from the overall experience.
Yet, what it lacks in ambiance, Ma Tarra compensates for with its unparalleled dedication to delivering authentic Bengali flavors. The staff's hospitality and the passion behind the food preparation contribute significantly to the overall appeal.
For those craving an authentic Bengali culinary experience, Ma Tarra Restaurant remains a top choice despite its ambiance shortcomings. The exceptional taste and quality of the food here transcend any limitations in the ambiance, making it a go-to destination for those seeking an unadulterated journey through the flavors of Bengal.
One of the best places in CR park market 2 for authentic Bengali food. We tried the ilish bhapa and bhetki paturi along with veg thalis. All the dishes were amazing. The thali items are served only once, but it is enough for a meal. However, the restaurant is not very spacious and gets a little cramped once it is filled. Nonetheless, the place is worth visiting for the quality of food.

Tasty food that doesn't cost a bomb - we had ordered aloo dum, luchi and Kolkata style chicken biryani. We also tried pakoras or fritters made of fish eggs, which tasted soft and delicious. Everything tasted good and brought a hint of nostalgia along. This place is also a hit among my north Indian colleagues.
