The restaurant is good ambience, food is authentic, the spices are toned down for the delhi audience. The Meat across dishes is so marvellously tender and tasty.
We went through their food faster than they could bring it. However, the portion sizes are considerably small for what you expect, against the prices.
Great Andhra food especially the Chicken Biryani, Prawn Biryani, Chicken Pulussu, Andhra mutton fry and Malabar parathas. Hygienic and spill proof packaging, timely service and delicious preparations. Their customer relations and staffs’ behaviour (especially Mr Murli Chowdhary) is also exceptional. Polite, attentive and efficient. The best place in the capital for Andhra food lovers!

It was one of my best experience after the lockdown, the precautions taken by them amazed me! Masks, face shields, proper temperature check and what not!
But this was the second time I was visiting them! Because of their food! Absolutely love the delicious food they serve.
What we had -
Andhra Chicken 5/5
Mutton biryani 5/5
Very rarely I give 5 out of 5 to some dish as I’m very picky when it comes to taste but they have had me the moment I tasted Andhra chicken 😍 it was so yum! A great place to dine in! One must go if in CP and looking out for some delicious non-veg food!
Amazingly Delicious Food , loved the food and the portions , spices , gravy , everything is pure bliss 🌸.
Do try their Biryani if you like the flavoursome food .
It’s a good place for having regional cuisine
Went with my family and interestingly liked everything we ordered and price under budget was an add on. Briyani was epic ❤️❤️
And good option for vegetarian people
This is one of the most delicious Andhra meals we have ever eaten. The menu is extensive and varied and caters for all tastes of.. The restuarant was clean. The service was very friendly and efficient. It is a quaint place for those who love a combination of good food and great ambience .
Ordered : dosa , biryani and starter ( baby corn fry)
Rating: 8/10
The flavours and taste of the food is good. Ambience is also nice.
Located in the heart of CP, the outlet serves authentic Andhra Cuisine. When I reached the place was quite empty but as it inched towards lunchtime, it got super crowded.
The decor is quite minimal with wooden tables and chairs.
We ordered Chicken 65 Biryani and Malabar Paratha with Gongura Chicken. Of the lot, the Gongura Chicken was delectable, with notes of sourness and tanginess. Loved its overall preparation and went quite well with the soft Malabar parathas.
Next time would visit for the thali.
It is like home away from home. The food, atmosphere and services were really good. Staff service was on point and excellent. Telugu songs playlist made me really nostalgic and being with family made it all the more awesome ❤️
Well ambience Best in class Restaurant with Andhra Cuisine, we had good and tasty food. We have ordered mutton keema fry, chicken thali and mutton thali here the taste was good everyone must try this in Delhi.
I ordered idli from here. There were 3 idlis with Sambar and 2 chutney. The idli was fluffy and soft. The sambar was tasty and the chutneys were really tasty. The price was also decent. 10/10 would recommend.
Edit: Ordered again from here. Had Masala Uttapam. The portion size was really good. Got 2 uttapam. Taste was amazing. Love the food here.
I never had such tasty idlis before... Guntur idlis that we ordered were spicy and the tomota chutney was so yummmm... Sambhar was equally tasty... Coconut chutney could have been better if used fresh coconut rather than made from coconut powder...
I went to this place on weekends so it was a crowded but generally it's not that crowded on weekdays
Ambience:I will say it 10/10 the decorations they have are so antique. They have some brass old age utensils and some wooden boxes and the seating area is beautiful too
Food: I had their veg thali and paneer masala dosa. The thali had many dishes but their rasam and fried peanut sabji was the best, they also offer a wide range of non veg dishes and limited options for veg. I will give 10/9 for the food
Service: Man don't get me started on the staff everything was good other then the good for nothing staff there I asked for glass and spoon at least 5 times for 20 mins until I had to walk to manager to get it myself when everyone got it naturally. They apologized on complaining but it was really disappointing.
Will recommend to south Indian food lovers.
Reasonably priced restaurant at prime location serving delicious Andhra food.
Location - The restaurant is located in the outer circle although it has become sort of lonely as many others in the same block such as Garam Dharam have closed. We went there on a sunday night around 10 PM, and the surrounding area was a bit dark.
Ambience - The ambience is pretty simple and nothing much to rave about. Looks more like a simple dhaba from inside with colourful paintings.
Food - Although we wanted the South Indian Thali, but they ran out of it. We ordered the Hyderabadi biryani, vegetable biriyani, chicken chettinad combo, egg curry combo, masala and plain dosa. Everything was really delicious. Even though Andhra food is spicy, we requested them not to cook very spicy and they prepared accordingly. I am surprised at all the negative reviews. The food we had was pretty good and the quantity was adequate.
Service - The service was very casual and friendly. It wasn’t anything out of the blue but they were happy to answer any query we had and the food actually came pretty quick even though many tables were occupied.
Prices and Menu - The food is reasoned priced and not very expensive. Menu is also good and not overly large as many restaurants tend to have these days.
Conclusion - It’s a pretty good restaurant serving delicious food. 5 stars if they improve on the ambience and upgrade on the overall experience. Recommended!
We visited Bagundi Andhra Kitchen as we were strolling CP Block M and saw this wellness welcome...on 11th January 2023
The ambience is ethnic and effort has been made to give it the Andhra touch ..enclosing photos
We ordered idlis Plain dosa and Ghee roast masala dosa...
The idlis were soft and fluffy and had the floating feel which is rarely seen and experienced in idlis today
The dosa dishes were crisp and crunchy and served steaming hot on a bitterly cold January afternoon in Delhi The Ghee in ghee masala dosa added a completely classy dimension to the taste and flavored the entire dish.Highly recommended all the dishes if looking for classy vegetarian fare
Need to visit again for Non vegetarian food some other day
We sorely missed the percolator filtered Andhra coffee and were informed it was discontinued We request filter coffee be reinstated for the Andhra kitchen completion menu.A great experience with Andhra food with we tasted in Secunderabad a few years ago
Resturant and food highly recommended for a pleasant experience.
We decided on our way to Connaught Place to dine in at Bagundi, we called to reserve the tables, they mentioned that its first come first serve basis, they don't reserve. As soon we parked at the entry of the M Block, C.P. the outlet was right infront of us, we went in, and we were lucky to get a table for four. The ambience is vibrant, i was expecting dull, 'naivedyam' kind of environment but its colorful, loud music and fun. We ordered Mirch Pakoras, Rasam Papad, Chilli Chicken, Chicken Lollipop was not available but was there in the menu, our favourite was the Malabar Paratha with Chettinad Chicken. The best Chettinad Chicken we had. The set dosa, keema dosa were good too, found them bit oily.. For desserts we had Kesari Bhaat and Paiysam. We're are coming back here for sure, especially for that Chettinad Chicken.
It's a good place to eat with family. Ambience is decent. I can bet this place serves authentic Andhra cuisine as I could see many people from South of India dining in. We ordered Veg thali and Sea food thali. The quantity was ample however prices were on higher side. The food was too hot and full of green chilly and spicy, the reason I didn't complain because that's how authentic Andhra cuisine is Hot and Spicy. Staff was warm. Overall a good experience.
