The place is good with decent ambience.
My order included-
1.Spinach and mushroom pasta-pasta having filling of spinach had a succulent taste.
2.Fish fry-It was not that good,need to work on this.
In drinks I ordered Tornato twist and Chunky orange and both were amazing.
Friendly staff but a little slow service.
Loved the sangria and the Indian starters. This place has a good buzz to it and the music is also great. Prices are also okayish and worth a visit.
Place is well located in the centre of Hauz khas village. The ambience was very dark and infrastructure was not so good. Staff is good and cooperative. Also there is ample space for dance. Food

It’s not everyday that I like a place in Hauz Khas. I think all of them look really similar, play similar music, has same kind of crowd! In fact I feel they all have same kitchen because how come taste of food across HKV is same.
But as always said, there is a ray of hope everywhere. I visited this place yesterday night and man, I was amazed by the quality, quantity and taste of their food. It was really amazing.
After really long I found a place in Hauz Khas doing such nice job with food. Everything they served on our table was full of taste and awesomeness.
I remember drooling for all of it.
Staff is extremely courteous, like extremely! And yea, one thing! Their music choice is amazing. I was there till 11:30 in the night and till then they haven’t played even one Punjabi song.. There was no wakhra swagni and blue eyes to take my good mood away. Music made us so happy that everything else fell in place automatically.
If you are in Hauz Khas next time, do give a shot to this place!

Never tasted better food then that of Roost.. I mean it will just melt in your mouth😀 As roost cafe already had amazing reviews we didnt choose food for ourself, despite said chef to serve the best .. he served us amazing varieties in vegg as well as non vegg food.. we had amazing shots and beer there 😆 loved there music, space and everything was perfect there.. And nothing can beat there pizza 😀 Had amazing celebration of my sr's birthday there.
Wish to go back there soon..
This place wasn't really in my list though but thought of checking it out once. It's a good place to sit and just relax since it was a karaoke night! Wasn't really crowded. Menu has quite a lot to serve but I felt the food was overpriced in accordance to the quantity served! And what I expected wasn't really the kind I got served! Presentation is quite decent . But still since the ambience was good and the feel of it I would rate this place 4!
Love this place. It has a really chill ambiance. The staff is really pleasant and, most importantly, they make some killer cocktails. I told the staff what kind of flavours I like and he directed me to some delicious menu items, and even customized some fantastic cocktails for me. Great date or casual hangout spot.

Had heard a lot about The Roost - Urban Bistro and Bar from friends who frequent Hauz Khas Village, decided to got to the restaurant on 1st February for the Chinese New Year Food Festival at the restaurant. The interiors give a glimpse as what to expect (food wise), Each mural depicts a different city. The food is inspired from these various cities. The food lived upto to the expectations and was exceptionally good. I liked the Crispy Lotus Stem Honey Chilli, It was crispy as the name suggests. Not too spicy and not too sweet, overall a good starter. I like dimsums, and the Prawn dimsums we ordered were up to the mark and very good. The Chicken Espetada and the Chicken 65 are also 2 other starters which we ordered, were pretty good. Since we had visited during the Chinese Food Festival we decided to try some jasmine tea, which was unlike what you get at other places. It was nice and refreshing, hope to be able to have it again when I visit the restaurant. Overall it was an enjoyable evening with friends at this amazing restaurant.
A very nice place with some amazing food. This place is one of the consistently brilliant restaurants over the last decade or something, 'The Roost' Great ambience, very good variety, decent prices .
