I had everything that they sell here. I would recommend jalebi without rabdi. I didn't like the taste of rabdi. And matar samosa which has matar fillings inside. The chutney was tasty. The jalebi and matar samosa gave a unique experience. For jalebi I can vouch that its the best, at least as far as I have eaten. For jalebi it's a must, must, must have.
One of the best places to enjoy jalebis in Delhi is Old Famous Jalebi Wala in Chandni Chowk. I had the pleasure of visiting this shop and tasting their delicious jalebis. The jalebis are made with desi ghee and khandsari sugar, which give them a rich and authentic flavour. They are not too sweet or too oily, but just perfect. The jalebis are thick, juicy, and crispy, and they melt in the mouth with every bite. They are served hot and fresh, and they are very satisfying. The shop has been in operation since 1884, and they have maintained their tradition and reputation for over a century. They have loyal customers who come from far and wide to enjoy their jalebis. The staff is courteous and friendly, and they serve the customers with a smile. The service is quick and efficient, and the customers do not have to wait long. The shop is clean and hygienic, and they follow all the safety measures. The price is reasonable for the quantity and quality of the jalebis. They are worth every penny. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves jalebis or wants to try the best jalebis in Delhi. It is a must-visit shop for every jalebi lover.
Old Famous Jalebi Wala, situated on the bustling main street of Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi, is an absolute gem for those with a sweet tooth. Renowned for its delectable jalebis, this iconic establishment boasts some of the best in the city.
The experience here is nothing short of exceptional, but be prepared for long queues – a testament to the quality of their offerings. The jalebis are a true delight, crispy on the outside, and soaked in aromatic sugar syrup, providing a perfect balance of sweetness.
For an extra dose of indulgence, pair these heavenly jalebis with Rabri, creating a symphony of flavors that's hard to forget. Besides the sweet treats, Old Famous Jalebi Wala also offers savory delights, particularly the samosas. Whether you opt for the aloo or matar samosa, you're in for a flavorful experience that complements the sweet jalebis perfectly.
Visiting Old Famous Jalebi Wala is a must when you find yourself in Old Delhi. It's not just a food stop; it's an authentic culinary journey that captures the essence of this historic part of the city. The jalebis, coupled with their signature Rabri and savory samosas, make for an unforgettable gastronomic experience. One of the iconic jalebi place at chandani chowk Delhi, the taste was good, please try with rabri, without rabri you will find it over sweet, there are many duplicate shops as well, the authentic one is at the corner near the street towards jama masjid
I had the pleasure of trying jalebis from Old Famous Jalebiwala in Chandni Chowk, and I can attest to their delicious taste. The standard jalebi plate was priced at 60₹ and included a single jalebi. If you're feeling more indulgent, there's an option for 80₹ with Rabri on top.
The jalebi itself was a delightful treat. It struck a perfect balance, not being overly sweet and maintaining a great texture that wasn't soggy. At 60₹, it's a reasonable price for a flavorful jalebi that I would gladly recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth.
Old famous Jalebi Wala is one corner shop that you wouldn’t want to miss when you are in Chandni Chowk, New Delhi. They serve the best jalebis in town, and are able to maintain the standards for a really long time. Along with the sweet dish, they have a couple of savouries as well.
The huge crispy, juicy, and scrumptious jalebi is totally worth the wait and the price it comes along with as well. They add Rabri to this and the deadly combo is to die for. You just cannot miss this corner shop when you are walking around in Chandni Chowk. This is nothing like all the regular ones you find across the sweet shops in New Delhi.
The samosas over here are pretty decent as well. They make them fresh and are crispy as well, with a nice aloo filling inside. The salt and masala are mixed well, and with the chutney it only tastes better.
Be ready to wait in line for the jalebi, it is also recommended to have it while you are at the shop to have the best experience, as parcelling the jalebi will ruin the whole dish and the experience as well. You can find them at 1795, Dariba Corner, opp. Bank of Maharashtra, Dariba Kalan, Chandni Chowk, New Delhi, Delhi 110006.
One of the most succulent jalebi I have had. Juicy inside and crochet on the outside. Two jalebis make 250 grand. They are huge. Must try.
Yumm! The name gets the taste 💯
The jalebi rabdi combo is really awesome and you should try it whenever you visit chandini chowk. It's located near the Shishganj Sahib Gurudwara. One plate of Jalebi Rabdi will cost you ₹90 as of 2023. Yes a bit expensive but it's a must try!
The old famous Jalebi Wala was started in 1884 and has no other branches. Beware of fake ones.
As good as it can get with Jalebis and Rabdi in Delhi in winters…
On top of it Rabri is not too sweet which fits perfectly with Jalebi
Famous shop at chandni chowk. Jalebi and rabbdi sold here is too much tasty and made of pure ghee and pure ingredients. I am not sure about samosha and other but Rabbdi jalebi is a must try item.
