If you love eating non veg then this place is a must visit for Matka mutton or chicken.....when I ate the 1st bite it was like heaven....it is so rich in spices at the same time everything is so perfect...its difficult to point out anything wrong in the dish......it is prepared on earthen pots and it cooked it slow flame which makes it perfect....its a hidden gem... Must visit
Champaran’s Kitchen is based on a concept of Bihar- cooking. This is a famous place for mutton and the prices are great! The food was amaazing. Especially the mutton served in a matka which was brilliant. The meat and the spices were equally flavorful and it’s indeed one of the best places to have mutton. Also ordered Matka Chicken and Chicken Biryani. They have an amazing way of serving and the food bought to the table is steaming hot. I had a great experience here. Definitely going to visit again for some amazing food!
Tried matka mutton. A true delight. Right balance of flavors and cooked to perfection (tenderness). The place is jam packed during lunch hours.. Highly recommended.
One of the most authentic and best non veg Bihar Dishes.. I simply love their food.. Either mutton or Chicken u can smell the mustard oil authentic in the recipe with the garlic..Note least Guddu Bhaiya is a very friendly person..
So on a random winter afternoon when the sun was shining bright I was introduced to champarans matka chicken - there were no pieces left in the handi but they insisted I try the Gravy - I tried and I was hooked ... two days later I ordered a matka chicken and it had the most unique flavour I have eaten in a long long time .. order it today I say - not too spicy not too heavy it’s a slice of heaven - but beware you will need to sleep or just be for sometime after eating this :)

Matka mutton was perfectly cooked, soft and irresistible. One of the best mutton I ever had. Cooked in handi and tastes very very good.
Chicken handi and fish tikka are also very delicious but mutton is just class apart.
Do try this place for matka mutton and you will not be disappointed. Prices are also reasonable.
This place is a must go for mutton lovers. Champaran Handi mutton is a dish one will fall in love at first bite. This place has an authentic preparation, and totally worth the price they are charging.

Food is super tasty but place is not good for family sitting.
Great taste of champaran mutton but minimum serving is quarter (4pcs) which is more for a single person...they should have option of 2pcs sufficient for one person...

We tried their Handi Mutton, and it was really amazing. Hot and fresh, however, the price was on a higher side. They charged around 900 for half a kg mutton. Apart from that, everything was good. Must try if you want to taste something different and spicy, bearing the cost element in mind.
The food was good, or would say it was the best handi mutton I have ever had. But, I would also say that the price was a little bit on a higher side in comparison to the services and aura of the restaurant. Rest if anyone wants to try the authentic champaran handi chicken or mutton, it is an option which you can think about.
We tried Champaran mutton handi, Matka chicken handi and Chicken kabab, all of them were great, the taste is authentic and those who love non veg must try it once, the price is also fair enough. We were assisted by Abhishek and the service was good.
