Had visited Sagar Ratna after a long gap. It was a visit with family for dinner. Sagar Ratna has always been synonymous with good South Indian food and it didn't disappoint this time too. Had the 4 foot family dosa alongwith sizzler. The dosa was crunch and the accompaniments were delicious. The drinks, esp cold coffee with ice cream was just great.
Amazing food and humble servers. The food is freshly prepared and steaming hot. Ample sitting space too. Parking might be an issue but they have a dedicated guard to help you park your car. Good restaurant for family, friends and couple dinner. The waiters are polite too even before you have finished your sambhar, chutney they are there refill it. 10/10.
Giving 3 start for atmosphere as there was no background music..just noises from kids of near table...rest the food was amazing..we ordered a tandoori platter, daal makhni, stuffed naan and gadbad sunday...and it was all perfect... thank you sagar ratna for such tasty food.
Sagar Ratna is fine dine restaurant in Preet Vihar, East Delhi. Famous for South Indian as well as North Indian Food. Food quality is excellent. Service was also good. Prices are also reasonable.
It was the Preet vihar centre of Sagar Ratna. First of all we were happily surprised to see a group of women enjoying their party there. It actually made us feel happy. Now we come to the food l. We had rawa dosa, and spring roll dosa. Both were made to perfection. Staff were very courteous and polite.
Tasty food but ambience is boring
Its a place to have amazing south indian dishes. As they serve variety of dosas .
They have north indian thalis and chinese as well.you can try filter coffee amd dahi vada

Perfect place for having South Indian cuisine. We ordered Paneer and Masala Dosa and It was a 5/5 experience for us. The staff is welcoming and kind.

Sagar Ratna is a wonderful restaurant at Vikas Marg. Although, it has become more expensive for a common man, but the quality of food is superb.

The food & ambience is your typical Sagar Ratna affair - clean, hygenic, good ambience and large seating area. Plus, the staff seemed courteous as well.
We ordered for quite some stuff - right from Mysore plain dosa, Rava paneer dosa to Paneer makhani dosa, idli-dahi, papad, filter coffee, and buttermilk. No reason to complain as far as the taste is concerned. Lovely taste of the dosa as well as the sambhar and the included chutney. Also, although I am not a big fan of rava dosa, but the paneer rava dosa tasted very nice.
I love their filter coffee! Nobody makes filter coffee better than a South Indian food joint & Sagar Ratna proves that point to the T. Wonderful filter coffee served beautifully in a steel glass and bowl. Also, I am a huge fan of Mysore plain dosa. Tastes wonderful with perfect blend of spices and crispiness and "plain" means not heavy on the stomach either.
Overall, everything was wonderful except probably the location because parking is a huge hassle there as there's generally NO parking space available outside. So, that is a headache, else, the place, ambience and food doesn't give you any reason to complain.
