Review Chopaan Kebab - New Delhi

Gydo Herlaar
We had the Afghani rice, Mutton Kebab and Chicken Korma, and we really liked it. The food was very tasty and they could adjust it perfectly so it had no onion and garlic. I was happy that I could eat here glutenfree, lactose-free and without garlic and onion. Thanks!
Kamil Yassini
I would recommend: Mutton shashlik, which was really light with garlic and juicy at the same time. Gabali palaw was really soft and mutton was really juicy. Have quite variety of seats.
Azeem (Envixityin)
Amazing place wolud recommend food was good servers and the owner were very nice and everything was neat and clean
Haider Ali
The food taste decent, won't give high ratings. The traditional pulao and Al faham tastes well but very different from Indian and lot of people were not finding it attractive. The prices are on the lower end even as compared to Indian restaurants. The ambience is very nice and can be visited for once and further if you like it. This restaurant is not as popular as the Afghan Darbar just opposite side of the road

One of the best places I have been. Authentic food!!

My favourite destination for Persian food in Lajpat Nagar, enjoy the authentic Afghani, Uzbeki & Persian food here .. from Koobideh to Bakhtiyari & Zereshk Polo to Qabuli Pulao this place offers all required for a tasty Middle Eastern meal experience.. the food is served with Afghani bread on the side which goes great with afghani Rajma šŸ˜ staff is very polite and friendly and owners are lovely people šŸ˜Š

THE BEST Jujeh Kebab I've ever had in Delhi! MUST TRY! Jujeh Kabab, an Iranian dish that consists of grilled chunks of chicken. This is one of the most common and popular dishes of Iran. It is common to marinate the chunks in minced onion, lemon juice and saffron.Ā You guys have a regular customer from now onwards!!!
Soumyaraj Purkayastha
It was a awesome experience.. The authentic taste of food from Afghanistan, Iran and Uzbekistan and the ambience both were upto to our expectations.

THE BEST Jujeh Kebab I've ever had in Delhi! MUST TRY!
Dr. Ali
I hope everything was okay with the food, my stomach is growling.

I basically have nothing to say about this place as well as a lot to say. One of the best places I've ever been to. The food was so great that I visited it the next day. This is my go to place now and will always be. Some of the dishes to order are the chopaan kebabs(mutton and chicken), kadhai chicken, lamb kubedah and please do try their pita breads. The softest I've had in my life. They just dissolve in your mouth.<br/>The service is very nice and so are the people. Great seating area too. Must visit.

This place is amazing.<br/>The food quality is great staff and ambience is nice they have comfortable sitting. Also the price is goodšŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

The place has good ambience, once you are there you feel like you are in some middle east country. So it was first visit and I tried Mantu Afgani which was basically kind of momos and it waa avg in taste. Then I tried Choppan chicken kebab, it was amazing. And at last tried Qabuli pulao so its basically mutton pulao served with Rajma curry. Mutton was perfectly cooked.
Subha Saini
I made a mistake ordering from here. Wasted 350 rs on a plate of bland, tasteless and extraordinarily oily uzbeki pulao. And who puts cheap fat of God knows chicken or what animal in the pulao instead of boneless meat. I have ordered uzbeki pulao from other places also and no one has ever delivered such cheap and under quality food. You just sent me boiled rice with two pieces of fat and lots of oil with no taste. I think you should change your persian cuisine tagline because it does not suit you . You have no clue what persian cuisine is and it reflects in the quality that you serve. Thank you for wasting my money and my precious lunch time. Will never order from you again.
Shouaa Fatma
We ordered three dishes out of which bbq wings and chaap were soft and upto the mark of taste. The two drinks we ordered were also awesome. Loved the ambience. Loved the food. Loved the people of chopaan. Good service. Enjoyed the evening. 4.5 from us.

My fav afghani restaurant in Delhi.<br/>especially their iranian items on the menu are amazing!!Ā <br/>absolute fav of mineĀ  Lamb Koobideh!!! must try.<br/>PS: only for those who appreciate non spicy flavours because its authentic , don't confuse it with mughlai cuisine/ indian.
Alwin James
Serve Authentic afghani, irani cuisine. Only go to this place if you are open to experimenting and trying new cuisines every now and then. If you're not that person please avoid.<br/>Ordered the Mantu Kebab which are like afghani momos but bland in taste. They were topped up with Chana daal curry for some weird reason. We had a little difficulty finishing the plate. #NoOffence

Trying out a new cuisine , went for Uzbeki Iranian. Fantastic Chopan kabab and lamb koobideh...will try the pulav next time . Great taste and quick response by the team.<br/>

Choppan kebab was on my do list for quiet some time. Visited today for lunch, it is close to central market Lajpat Nagar and easily accessible. The place is not crowded at all, probably being a Friday. The place has really authentic and great seating arrangement and ambience.<br/>We ordered Chopaan Keebab, Manti/ Manti, Uzbek Salad, Uzbek plow and some dough to drink.<br/>The dough, was a curd based drink, lightly spiced with some dried mint leaves, it was very refreshing.<br/>The uzbek salad was refreshing.<br/>The manti tasted great, hope to tell them next time to not add the chana dal and green chutney.<br/>Chopaan Keebab was the star, the meat was well cooked tender and juicy.<br/>The Uzbek plow, was just perfect and matched perfectly with the salad.<br/><br/>A word of caution, the portion size is more than enough for two people.<br/><br/>Will be visiting again for sure, highly recommended.

Been to this place and tried uzbeki and chicken kebabs.. food is very nice.<br/>Owner welcome you whole heatedly and that I certainly loved.<br/>Nice green tea served by them complimentary.
Malabika Kalita
If the restaurant doesn't want to run out of business, I strongly suggest they focus on their customer service. It is clearly not a monopolistic situation and there are restaurants serving same cuisine with better service along with cheaper as well as tastier food right next door. It was my first time in the restaurant and highly disappointed with the evident inequality in the treatment of customers. The food is decent and hygienic.
Thefilmyfoodyinsaree
Nice ambience... Gave the feel of having food in typical Afghani style while sitting on carpet and food served on the mat.we were made comfortable with bolsters, perfect for Afghani feel, courteous staff, yummy and flavourful food, we ordered Afghani berry pulao, Afghani dough(buttermilk),mantu, joojhe kabab, chicken qorma and naan was complimentary. Then we had their tea which was very refreshing and much required after that wholesome meal.<br/>Rating 4/5<br/>Taste- very Good<br/>Ambience-very Good<br/>Price- Good value for money

I ordered bakhlava from chopaan kebab and they were disastrous they smelled like a non veg dish...This place is a big no for people ordering bakhlava
Shreyaghalawat
An ideal place for great food at an affordable price. Love their hospitality and ambience. the Kabuli pulao is extremely delicious and a must try.
Anuj Bhuwania
Astonishingly terrible service. Did not deliver 4 of the 7 items in the non-veg platter. And when informed, they were unapologetic and merely offered that the missing interns can be delivered the next day! When I called the next day, I was informed I will have to order one item from Zomato so that delivery can take place. To top it all, this second time too, one item (babaganoush) was missing. Totally unprofessional. Even food quality wise, there are many better places offering the same cuisine in Lajpat Nagar itself like Mazaar.
Shubham Singh
This was my first experience in Afghan restaurants in the area and I feel indifferent/like an outsider here inĀ chopaan. Service to our table was visibly not the top priority. Ordered Lamb Koobideh and plenty of other kebabs but the lamb had a really strong stink not otherwise present in red meats. food was not up to the mark.Ā <br/>Overall, much below average.
Nabeela Rizvi
I recently visited this place twice and it has left my taste buds satiated. We ordered Jujeh Kebab with Saffron Rice (Chicken) and Barbeque Chicken Wings, Chopan Kebab and Chicken Qorma. The food is absolutely amazing and so is their hospitality. The kebabs are basically big chicken pieces and all the flavour they had still leaves my mouth watering. It's a must visit place for the lovers of non vegetarian food.
RahĆ¼l Karan
Apart from chicken Korma we liked everything we ate. I'm not saying korma is bad, it's just it didn't suited our taste buds. But worth going here. Do try their fresh pomegranate juice.<br/><br/>Food 4/5<br/>Ambience 3.5/5<br/>Service 5/5

Amazing restraunt the food is jussssssstttt amazingšŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜the uzbeki an chicken was tooo good<br/>.....the yougurt drink toošŸ˜ must place to be ....staff is good

Very good foodĀ  & fast service Staff is very friendly and professional.Would recommend this Restaurant to everybody looking for a good restaurant in the area

Chopaan Kabab is my favorite place to eat in Delhi. The staff, the ambience, and of course the amazing food make it a wonderful place to go with family or friends. The prices are very very reasonable for the amount of food and meat that you get, and the staff are always ready to answer any questions you have about the menu. I highly suggest trying the Qabuli Pulav ā€” it is almost as good as the kind that you get in an Afghan home itself.
Arjun
Been to 2-3 other Afghan restaurants in the area but was never made to feel indifferent/like an outsider anywhere except chopaan. Service to our table was visibly not top priority to the servers, no tea served, no side dishes served. Ordered Lamb Koobideh and plenty of other kebabs but the lamb had a really strong stink not otherwise present in red meats. Management must advice servers to treat everyone equally and fill the gaps. Overall, much much below average.

Being a food enthusiast experiments and trying are words u should stick to.<br/>Tried afghan cuisine for the first time and was fortunate enough to be guided to this place by one of the afghan itself<br/>Qabuli pulao ,leave apart the pulao u wont even find the raisins they used in the delicacy, such taste i felt no less than a sultan šŸ˜… ...even ice would not melt in ur mouth faster than the tender mutton pieces they used in pulao and i bet u on this also the dip they serve would be a tatse first of its kind in your mouth.kebabs ,irani chai were amongst other orders and all competed well to brilliance<br/>You will find the traditional afghan seating style as ambience and this also includes their courtesy.<br/>A must visit place to observe and understand a new culture which includes a delicious treatšŸ˜‹

The aroma, Ambience and food will blow your mind. Non Vegs - It's a paradise of selective but whole feast meals which make your taste buds rock n roll. Vegans - Try Rajma, Bhindi or palak sabzi. <br/>P. S - don't forget to order lemon tea because thats incredibly tasteful and satisfying.

i got leftover food that was reheated. dont buy from this restaurant

I never knew we had so many afgani food outlets until I hit the so called Little Afghan located at Lajpat Nagar. Me and bunch of my foodie friends attacked this small community of Afgani people just to apprise ourselves with their mouth watering delicacies.Ā <br/><br/>Chopaan Kebab standing tall amidst of many Afgani food outlets in this area, offers different style seating that will mesmerize you and will surely make you feel that you are not in INDIA. A very well maintained and aesthetically adorned restaurant dishes out enormous food items that one would like to binge on.Ā <br/><br/>We tend to try as much as we could and almost everything tasted differently than a regular taste and it indeed was a great food expedition.Ā Ā <br/><br/>However, I personally out of all did not like only one item i.e. mantu. It is an afghani version of our steamed momos.Ā <br/><br/>P.S. When we went there, it was a waiting for usĀ  and it has been heard from the local people that they always have waiting so make sure you go there considering waiting period.Ā <br/><br/>A must try place if not for just food then at least for the ambiance and an all together different feel.
Mrittika Chakraborty
Food was awesome..they provide lot of complementary dishes..tasty authentic afgani n Uzbeki food..good quantity in reasonable price..only issue is the ambience...we found the place little bit small n clumsy..
Insha
We ordered chicken chopan kebab it was worst we puked after eating it it smells yuck......big disaster...plz improve this chicken chopan kebab

Best Afghani food I had in the area. Very clean, great service and had 2 types of seating arrangement - first being basic tables and chair and the other one being traditional afghani style. Reasonable pricing too
Naveen Singh
good food<br/>he presentation was nice.. crowd was gentle. Ambience was good. Staff was very cooperative and well dressed. One must visit this place for at least once.<br/>Provides booking for buffet and personal area for function also.
Shadab
Visited this restaurant for the first time, here the seating style is of two types, first the basic chair one and the second was their traditional style of seating on the dastarkhan. Menu was little bit tough to understand, missing of description in kebabs and other appetizer section. Talking about the food quality, the dishes were very good, kebabs were well moist and tea was also nicer side but there's was a slightly delay in the service of food. Other than that, it's ambience was really good, giving a feeling of being in really in the specialty restaurant...<br/>Will plan to visit here again soon...!
Kunal Verma
The place is decent from within and there are 2 types of seatings - 1 is the standard chair and table and the other is the Afghan style where food is layed on the centre and you all sit around it with folded legs.<br/><br/>What disappointed me was the food. I had ordered Qorma-E-Gosht which was supposed to be spicey but it wasn't (also, it didn't seem to be mutton as the bones were of some different shape)<br/><br/>Mutton Shahlik tasted good but it wasn't cooked well. It was half raw. The Uzbeki pulav came with rajma and it tasted so bad.<br/>Utterly disappointed with the food.
Cravings_fōda
This was a nice place. Good sitting area. Specialised in afgani, itani and ufgani food. The dishes there are really unique.. the presentation was nice.. crowd was gentle. Ambience was good. Staff was very cooperative and well dressed. One must visit this place for at least once.<br/>Provides booking for buffet and personal area for function also..<br/>16 people cost- around 13k<br/>Buffet for 60 people- 20 k<br/>Price for 2- 500-700 max.<br/>
Farkhanda Zahoor
A small place in the heart of the Lajpat Nagar market that serves authentic Iranian and Afghani food. This place is extremely affordable, two people can have a filling and scrumptious meal under Rs 500. It has floor seating with Dastarkhawaan (a mat laid to eat food while sitting on the floor) and bolsters. Also, they do one of the best Hummusā€™ in Delhi. <br/><br/>Must try: Mutton Koobideh (Saffron Rice with Mutton Kebabs and pickle)<br/><br/>Best thing about the place: unlimited supply of free Black/Green tea. Yes, thatā€™s right. FREE.
Rhea Dutta
Do try their Chicken Pulao (Biryani). And also the hummus and pita bread for Vegetarians in an authentic lebanese style. Fir desserts Baklava is a must try !!!<br/>Hospitality - 5 (staff very courteous)<br/>Food - 4<br/>Ambience - 4
Naivedya Bahl
A good place with a traditional ambience and a very helpful and polite staff.<br/>We ordered for chicken soup which was very good and the chicken chopaan kebab tasted very nice.<br/>The jujeh kebab was good but was too dry to be eaten with the rice .<br/>The lassi was the special drink and was mostly at every table
Tabish Bhat
Food was served cold and not very tasty..even the staff was not friendly, the price was quite high and food was not up to mark..though i liked the ambiance.. they need to improve a lot when compared to other Afghani restaurants..i am not satisfied..thumps down.
Abdullah Hussain
I had been to Kabul-Delhi, Mazaar, and Naseeb but I must say this was my worst experience at Chopaan. There were a lot of servicemen but no one cared to ask us unless we actually called them. Uzbeki Pulao, Mantu, Aashak, all were a waste here.<br/>I'm very fond of Uzbeki Pulao but this place disappointed me very much.<br/>Don't go here if you are actually looking for some authentic Afghani taste and value for money.<br/>Ambience was good but that's not we were there for, we went for FOOD.
Sanjai Saxena
Good food. Lamb Koobideh was very good. Uzbeki palav was good. Chopaan kabab was good. Afghani bread was okayish. Salads not good. Turkish baklava very good. Since I was very keen on traditional Iranian food, I missed the normal Chello Kabab and the big soft naans with salted paneer. Worth another visit. Prices a bit higher than expected.
Subhad Kumar
Highly over rated joint with below average food. The ambience is calm but what matters the most that is food was disappointing. We ordered yakhni chicken which was very tasteless . Chicken chopaan kebab was only good thing at that joint. Uzbeki pulav was extremely uneatable and we had to leave majority of it.. overall not a nice experience...
Wondergirl_rose
Had to wait for an hour or so while getting some work done in Lajpat Nagar, thought of trying Afghani food. Had strolled this area before as well, but never tried.<br/>So checked 2-3 options and decided on this place. Entered and ambience was soothing and clean with light shades.<br/>So one side has tables+chairs and other side with takht. We chose Takht.<br/>We were quitr hungry and quickly ordered<br/>- chicken korma(khamiri roti comes with it)<br/>- vegetable raita<br/>- Afghani chai<br/>- kabab with pulao(m forgetting name of the dish)<br/><br/>Had to remind them twice for tea. after 15mins of order, when we were expecting the food to come we were informed that they dont have chicken so will have to order something else. Changed chicken to mutton then-what does that mean - another 15mins of wait.<br/>Finally after 30-35mins of waiting the food arrived.<br/>- tea, refreshing with very evident fragrance+flavour of cardamom (we chose black over green)<br/>- kabab, very well prepared- liked the spices used and they were super soft, could break it a finger and thumb<br/>- ghosht korma- very average- it seemed the gravy was very similar to butter chicken, lacked any kind of flavour but againt mutton was super tender didnt even have to use anything to tear it.<br/>-khamiri roti- was quitr hard, maybe thats how its prepared but i found it hard to break and chew.<br/><br/>The service was quite slow, nobody in the restaurant knew that they dont have chicken but the staff was humble. Like staff-like presentation.<br/><br/>My overall experience at this place was very average as I haf mixed rections to the food items.<br/><br/>Food 2/5<br/>Ambience 2.5/5<br/>Service 2/5<br/>Beverage 2.5/5<br/>Presentation 2/5 (most of their dishes were broken at the corners)<br/>VFM 2.5/5 because its absolutely light on the pocket- we paid INR 670 for everything.<br/><br/>Will I go back - well not too sure as the food didnt really amaze me!!!
Raja Mukherjee
One helluva place which doesn't fail to surprise me at all!!! The seating was quite comfortable and the food made it all the more reason to enjoy actually! Though less in spices ... The flavors were pretty modest yet delicious at the same time. Be it the Chopaan Kebabs or the Kabuli Pulaav every dish came out like a signature truly!!! Can't wait enough to go & eat here sooner!!!
Zain.mhamdani
Chopaan kebab is the latest kid in the long list of afghani restaurants in Lajpat Nagar. The restaurant has plush interiors and good seating arrangement. The menu has both veg and non veg to offer. <br/>We ordered chopaan kebab, uzbeki pulav and rajma. Uzbeki pulav and chopaan kebab both are excellent. The kebab are so soft and juicy and pulav has some great flavour. Now the downside is that the only bread they offer is afghani roti which is thick and hard. Rajma was tasty but the bread spoiled it's taste. If they are offering curries then they must have variety of bread too. Mango juice is served with grated coconut which is fresh and chilled. Staff can communicate in both hindi and english and service is decent. <br/>
Palak Saluja
Today was my second visit ti this restaurant and my experience was even better than before. There is something about this place that fascinates me. From vibrant Durbar seating areas to the Irani music in the background. Donā€™t even et me started on the food. The Delhi storms couldnā€™t blow my socks off but the food at Chopaan definitely did. I ordered an Uzbeki Pulav, Mutoon Qorma, Kazan Kebab. They offer a thick bread as complimentary. I can still relish the taste of the food. Kazan Kebab is as a bit undercooked but Uzbeki Pulav was to die for. I also ordered Turkish Baklava for dessert and it was too good to be true. Other than that, their juice is as fresh as a daisy. They serve it super fresh and chilled which really compliments the taste. Iā€™d suggest to opt for fresh juice over a range of milkshakes or other beverages. The waiters are super sweet but the management is a bit rigid and rude. The service is as quick as lightning. I have had two visits so far and I havenā€™t had enough. I would be waiting to go there super soon and hog again.
The Trafood
This place serves you uzbeki Iranian dishes with Afghani cuisine. We tried uzbeki Kazan kabab for the first time here and it didn't suit our taste buds, so take a risk and try but don't blame us! šŸ˜ Afghani chicken kadhai was delicious and you can order dough bottle which is kind of buttermilk to keep off your thirst. Ambience is good. Hospitality can be improved.
Sarwar Borah
There are a plethora of Afghan restaurants in Lajpat Nagar. Chopaan Kebab is the latest kid in the block. The restaurant has positioned itself on the fine-dine side, with plush interiors and seating arrangements. Most prices are similar to other fine-dine restaurants in Delhi, but they have priced their kebabs a little costlier. The kebabs also come in platter. The rice makes it a platter. The taste is authentic, but the platter bit with the kebabs could have been avoided as one may just be interested in combining the varieties of pulaos with the kebabs.<br/>The staff is well-trained and are well versed in both English and Hindi. Effective communication is very essential in a restaurant serving international cuisine as guests tend to ask a lot of questions to the waiter so that they can place the perfect order.<br/>Other Afghan restaurants tend to serve complimentary side dishes such as rajma and a dip made of curd and brinjal. Chopan generally does not do that unless you request for it. The only complimentary dish they serve is the tandori roti. The complimentary green tea was also missing.<br/>A must visit for discerning diners looking for a new place to enjoy Afghani cuisine.
Rajiv Chopra
I went there with my good old buddy, and we do indeed have a long friendship.Ā <br/><br/>Chopan Kabab came highly recommended and I went there with much anticipation. We had the Chopan Kabab (mutton), Kazan Kebab, Afghan Mantu and Lamb Koobideh.Ā <br/><br/>I liked the Kazan Kebab, even though it was a tad dry. In fact, on that particular day, the one aspect that unified all the dishes, was that the meat was dry. That tends to spoil the flavour<br/><br/>I do prefer this kind of food to Mughlai food. It is easier to cut away the fat. The almost total absence of heavy gravy also makes it healthier, and you don't feel as if you have a ton weight of bricks in your stomach after the meal
Rishit Arora
A strict no for Afghani food if u r in Lajpat Nagar.<br/><br/>We ordered Kazan Kebab, Chicken Kadhai and Dough Bottle. While Dough Bottle was just fine and Chicken Kadhai tasted just ok sorts too. Kazan Kebab was very bad in taste. Dont even think to order it.<br/>Staff was courteous but i feel dont go here. There are better outlets for Afghani food in Lajpat Nagar.
Shaiena Kataria
The best food Iā€™ve ever had! <br/>Total value for money.<br/>The quality of food and taste is 5/5. The food isnā€™t spicy and if you want spicy you can request them for it. <br/><br/>The price is justified the quantity of items respectively.<br/><br/>The staff is friendly and helps you understand the menu.<br/><br/>Do try ā€œdoghā€- itā€™s basically like lassi with mint and cucumber . A must try. They serve glass or a bottle as you wish to order.<br/><br/>Ashak- is like momos with a little bit of curd and dal. A momo lover might not relish it but is different and itā€™s nice. I am a momo lover but I liked this twist and would prefer this over momos now!<br/><br/>Kazan kebab is basically mutton kebab. Itā€™s with bones and very tender. Served with roasted potatoes which are equally tasty and salad. <br/><br/>Chicken Kadhai is also amazing specially the taste of the gravy is amazing; the roasted tomatoes. <br/><br/>Thanks to them Iā€™m in love with afghani food and Iā€™m regular with the place . It has decent crowd - family people need not worry. <br/><br/>Some people who Iā€™ve visited the place with have felt that the food is a little sweet.<br/><br/>Best part they serve complimentary green tea , which is the best ! <br/><br/>100/100 overall never had a bad experience & hope I never get
Abhijit Sen
Located in Lajpat nagar. Awesome taste and ambiance is good . Do try out their kebabs and kadhai gosht . Afghani naan is also too soft. Cheap and budget friendly. You have to sit on the floor just like traditional middle eastern eateries. Overall a good place to have your food.
Sunilhatsoff
We group of six visited your most uncomfortable ever restaurant. Which is more less like a high way joint for fast food . Cutlery totally chipped. Poor impression <br/>Food. Is average. Comfort is poor Never visit again or recommend any one . Very poor n average set up <br/><br/>
Swikruti Mangaraj
A great place to try out the afgani cuisine and the price of the dishes are extremely pocket friendly. The ambience is a 5/5 and so is their staff's behavior. You can ask about the preparation of any dish on their menu if you have a confusion while trying out new delicacies.
Minakshi Pharswal
This is where Afghani flavour merges with Iranian cuisine. If you want truly delightful middle eastern flavours, this is the place to be. I really love the ambience and seating of this place. You have to sit on the floor just like traditional middle eastern eateries. The food is just amazing. Great for hanging out with friends who love exotic flavours. If you are a non-vegetarian, there are some must have cuisines for you.
Arijit Dutta
So I went with a friend here few days ago. I had already covered all the Afghani Restaurants in Lajpat Nagar. Well, I must tell you, out of all the restaurants, I was very much impressed by Chopaan Kebab's ambience.<br/>Coming to the taste, I had ordered Afghani Kadhai Gosht and Uzbeki Chicken Tikka and Afghani Naan.<br/>Well, it did take a lot of time in the service. The hospitality was really friendly. I would give the taste and quality of food a 5/5. It was new and Inhad never tasted anything like that ever before!<br/><br/>Coming to the price, this place is a little expensive than the other restaurants in the perimeter. Overall a very amazing experience. Keep up the good taste guys. Cheers!
Mrityunjay Sahni
The Place is Located in Lajpat Nagar 2 ( Afghani Colony ) . Its basically an Afghani Restuarant but has other cuisines to offer as well which are the Iranian and Uzbeki Cuisine. The restaurant has 2floors, the ground floor can be utilised by everyone but the upper floor has special arrangements for people coming with their families. The place is very well decorated from inside providing it with the Royal touch.<br/>There are tables set up for proper dining purpose and even they have arrangements where you can sit on the floor and eat food on the Dastarkhan (Floor mats).<br/>The food is really good , the service is great as well , Afghani food has bit different taste when compared to Mughlai Food . It's less spicy and boneless chicken pieces are used for preparing dishes. Special Afghani spices are used for preparing the dishes.<br/><br/>It's a must go place !!!<br/><br/>Things to look For :<br/>1. Kadhai Ghost<br/>2. Uzbeki chicken tikka<br/>3. Nakmeen Lassi<br/><br/>P.S : Prices for this Restuarant is a bit high when compared to other Afghani Restuarants in the same locality.

Perfect place for lebanese food!<br/>great ambience and peaceful place for lunch/dinner.<br/>Usbeki pulao my favorite one, Fine quality of mutton and very fresh and light Food they serve.<br/>Must visit there! Must try the chopan kebabā™„ļø
Kingshuk Ghoshal
Loved this place! We ate multiple plates of:<br/><br/>Uzbeki pulao<br/>Kazan kebab<br/>Lamb koobideh<br/>Mutton qorma<br/><br/>All so delicious and juicy! The Lamb koobideh was esp beautiful - so tender and tasty yet not overloaded with spices. <br/><br/>Very neat and clean joint (compared to some others in that location). Very friendly waiters and quick service.<br/><br/>Iā€™m surely coming back! Come to this joint for Uzbeki, Iranian, and Afghan delicacies!!
Ankur
Unique kabab experience with western asia on a plate. The place is located in the super congested market of Lajpat Nagar so getting there is not the easiest, as is finding parking. The layout is nicely done and you feel transported to the area from where the cuisine if from, they are covering Iranian, Uzbek and Afghan food. There is regular table seating and also some raised level seating with carpets so you can remove your shoes and sit in a more relaxed manner.Ā The area has a lot of population from this region so there is a regular stream of people looking for a taste from home.
Bhoomi Kaur
It is an amazing place and I love the food sooooooooooooooo much.Ā <br/>I rate the food 5/5<br/>I really love the ambiance and the food is umbelievably good!
Salman Malik
Very very very unprofessional people and staff<br/>And management. I would recommend no one to go there. They say they open at 11AM and we went at 12. They refused to let us in and had the worst possible attitude. Who opens a restaurant at 1PM.<br/>Crazy morons
Devika Kapur
Best lebanese food in south delhi it is located in Lajpat nagar delhi.Ordered the began, that was the worst of all Lebanese food was the best of chopaan kebab.Green tea was complementary and was nice too. <br/>The presentation was fascinating and it taste awesome.

Location: Lajpat Nagar <br/>Afghani culture is showcased at this place. Awesome food with different exotic afghani flavor. Ambience is good but service is very slow... They provide good quality n quantity of food at generalised price. <br/>Must try Uzbeki pulaav.<br/>I ordered Uzbeki pulav, korma e gosht n chopaan kebab chicken and in sweets Turkish bukhlawa.<br/>They provide complementary afghani rotis and green tea that's a something great. <br/>You must visit this place if you are seeking for good, exotic essence of Afghan flavours.

Went there last night for dinner! <br/>The food was amazing! We had the Qabuli Pulav and Chopaan Kebab Chicken and Mutton. It also came with a bread, beans and salad! <br/>Everything was so delicious we couldnā€™t stop eating, even though it was a lot for 2 people. Service was very good as well. I will definitely come back to try other dishes.

Location : lajpat nagar Delhi<br/>Parking: no parking near the restaurant<br/>Ambiance : nice better than any other Afghan restaurant in the area.<br/>Food: ordered an Iranian dish lamb kubede it was a great dish. It was the only worthwhile dish.<br/>Also ordered an Uzbekistan chops not worth it. <br/>And I also ordered an Afghan dish Chaupan kebab again very disappointed.<br/>Also ordered the began or brinjal dish, this was simply the worst of the lot. <br/>Green Tea is complementary and was nice. <br/>Service: really bad once served you will have to chase the guys for any other thing. They just don't listen. <br/>Price : not bad but not worth the food. <br/>In the future i would rather go to the Afghan restaurants across the street than venture towards this one. <br/>

Lajpat Nagar has witnessed a proliferation of restaurants serving Afghan cuisine over the last few years and Ā chopan Kebab is one of them offering the most delicious Ā Uzbek, Iranian and Afghani delicacies right from the Yakhnis to kababs to main course.<br/><br/>Ā <br/><br/>Inviting Ā ambience with some nice paintings on the walls, comfortable sitting Ā wonderful presentation of the food, Surahis and kettles serving you some nice green tea etc and the food which is less on spices but tasteful is what one experiences at this gem in Lajpat Ngar.<br/><br/>Green and black tea areserved complimentary to the diners.<br/><br/>What fascinated me about the food here was that all the dishes were minimal on spices and high on actual taste of the meat especially the mutton starters.<br/><br/>The presentation was inviting to say the least and the taste awesome.<br/><br/>Must Visit !!

Food - 4/5<br/>Very good taste and ambience is good . Do try out for kebabs & pulaw . Afghani naan is also too soft. Too cheap and budget friendly .

This outlet comes from the owner of nooshenjoon...the staff is very courteous however there is a little language barrier as most of them being afghani. Food is average. I loved their chicken yakhni, chicken soup and jujhe kebab..mutton korma was a little too sweet...I tried another variety of kebabs too... all in all food is average...easy on pocket too
