This place has authentic South Indian food. Loved their Paper Masala Dosa and Kuch nahi uttapam. They are taking all the precautionary measures during this pandemic for a safer dining experience. The owner is very nice and they can give you discount on group bookings too. One of the best places in CP

This heritage restaurant has been in CP since the 1930s..wow!! The ambience of the place has such heritage vibes and just for your GK..certain movie scenes of “hazaron khwahishein aisi” were shot here. So all you Bollywood buffs, need to make a trip down there.
The place has been newly renovated, the playlist was awesome, it was sparkling clean, the staff followed all the COVID safety protocol, and were friendly.
Coming to the food, I had the classic filter coffee and it was amazing..exactly how I like it -kadak and mildly sweetened. I also tried their Kuch Bhi Dosa...honestly the name caught my eye off the menu. And it was a good choice too, for it turned out delicious, the outer cover deliciously crispy while the stuffing boasted a myriad of different ingredients- aloo, paneer, carrots and so much more that I possibly couldn’t have figured out!! It was yummy.
So the next time you’re in CP, do try this place out for some heritage feels, amazing food that is easy on your pockets.

Had a quick bite here on a weekend evening. Place was full, but I could get seat quickly. Server was polite and quick. Food came fast, probably because I ordered curd rice. Taste was authentic South Indian taste. Filter Coffee was also very good. On request, I was served sambar on the house, and it was really good. Place had an old rustic vibe.

Its been Years i visited This place. Fortunately while crossing this area, thought to check today's status of food and all as it was always renowned for its tasty food & great service. I was wondering to see thats it's somehow became More graceful and nice. Delicious food, real band of South Indian filter coffee, still remarkable. They still deserve for appreciation as earlier. I Also felt glad to see their way of service & proper attention to each and every customer. I decided i will keep visiting whenever I ll get chance.

So after almost 20 years I got a chance to visit this coffee house. It was a popular colleg hangout in our times. The ambience was changed and it looks good. The moment we got our table the place started filling up. Music was good too. We ordered Rasam papad which was good 👍. Then we had Veg cutlets which were really tasty and I don't have to say anything about the coffee. The total amount was 500 something and no extra charge or service charge . We had a good time and enjoyed our food. They have more items that I will try in my next visit for sure. Good luck to the MCH family 🙏

A very old & authentic place for South Indian food. Dosa was awesome, filter coffee could have been better. If they could do something on cleanliness and hygiene, it would be great.

"The past cannot be changed, but it can be rebuilt". This iconic restaurant in CP, Delhi, has been a thriving business since 1935, but was in a dilapidated condition. The last time I visited this place with my mom, the green sofa seats were torn from places, the front door was always half closed to hide its shame, and the menu was old-fashioned as well. I was absolutely sure, they were planning to close it down. But someone decided to save it. Now, it has a modern look, from front to back, with youngsters running the business, South Indian fusion menu, and new age prices as well. I tried the China Town Schezwan Onion Dosa, which was finger-licking good and Vietnamese Iced Tea, which may not be a favourite of many because the condensed milk at the end may be too sweet for some people.

What a surprise to find this quaint hotel. Tucked away at one end of Connaught place, this is certainly a place to experience. Not an exhausting menu, spartan, just like the hotel. Tried the Thali and it was good. Two things that need to be added to the hotel are, AC and a washroom. They can choose to keep thy hotel without an AC, but washroom is a must. Hopefully, they soon will have one.

Ambience was so peaceful, as when you entered in it you will get to see lord Ganesha statue which is so soothing for eyes . Waiters are so humble and so the owner is .There is a lady who came to us for review after we have done with our dinner !. Seating is also nice , but there's no washroom there !. I have tried there filter coffee , cold coffee and Idli .price was good and taste was so yumm!.must have cold coffee !.. Rest you can hangout there , no one came to disturb you again n again !.

Visited for the experience and it was quite something. The history was what drew me here and I’m glad I visited. The interiors take you back in time…Hugh ceilings and the beautiful chandelier remind you of an era that was. I loved the filter coffee and the dosa and actually nibbled on it plain…it was so tasty.
