it's worth noting that Sikkim cuisine is known for its unique blend of Tibetan, Nepalese, and Indian flavors.
If you're looking for a quick and affordable meal, the Sikkim restaurant in the rush paharganj area might be worth checking out. However, be prepared for tight seating arrangements as space can be limited. You can order popular Sikkim dishes such as steam momos and chilly noodles, which are known for their spicy and flavorful taste.Regarding the cost of the food, it's just okay in terms of value for money. While the prices are reasonable, the quality and quantity of the food may leave something to be desired. Additionally, the seating arrangement can be uncomfortable, and the restaurant can get quite crowded during peak hours. However, it's important to note that I experienced food poisoning after eating these dishes, so it's essential to ensure that the restaurant is following proper food safety protocols.Overall, the Sikkim restaurant in the rush area may be a good option for those in a hurry or on a budget, but it's important to be aware of the limited seating and potential food safety issues. If you do plan on dining here, it's best to be cautious and make sure that the restaurant is adhering to proper hygiene and sanitation practices.
Sikkim Kitchen is located near Rk Ashram Metro (Paharganj). head towards main bazar road. Food was a simply good.
Thali prices are 200 to 300rs and Chowmin 150 to 300rs. Thanks
Delicious food in a clean restaurant at an affordable price. It is more expensive than your typical street food, but the portion sizes are big, the customer service is amazing, and you're able to enjoy a sit down dinner. I ate here for all 4 days that I stayed in Paharganj. Highly recommend.
It was flavourful egg fried rice! A place you can try "real food" in Paharganj. There's so many vegs inside and even baby corns too. Also served with spice sauce :) should try it !
It's a small sikkimese hotel/restaurant run by a bunch of nepalis who are all friendly and nice. Now, coming to the food; it was simple yet good chicken biriyani (homemade style) whose taste was yummy, little spicy and simply good. Amount of biriyani was aplenty for one full plate (Rs 200). All in all, a really good experience and service. Must try ๐โ๐
I ordered chicken thukpa and biryani and they gave me huge portions in just 220rs for both...it was enough for two people. Plus it was extremely tasty and the host were awesome.
Must visit place.
This is the nepali owner resturant she is from Sikkim and the food is too good you won't regret comming here so good to visit
Very economical place to eat in Paharganj . It is in the beginning of the market if one enters from the Ramakrishna Metro station side . Opposite the fruit sellers . The variety to choose from menu is vast . The name is Sikkim but the food is more or less Nepali .
A small restaurant in the Paharganj area. The food is simple, hygienic and tasty. Prices are justified, given the quantity of food served. It might take sometime for the food to be prepared but everything seems to be freshly cooked. The owners are polite and service is good.
Positive vibes in the place with delicious food
& The biriyani is soo delicious ๐
