Authentic Kashmiri Food

It was my wife's birthday and I wanted to surprise her by ordering Kashmiri food for lunch. I ended up ordering Dum aloo, Tomato gravy paneer, Nadru Yakhn, Haaq, Chicken Rogan Josh, Gustaba and Rista. I can't appreciate their food enough, it was that good. I was initially unsure of what to order but then spoke with the owner and he guided me well. His recommendations were spot on. In summary, if you wish to taste authentic Kashmiri food, then Ahad Sons does the job perfectly.

I tried this place after years. The Roganjosh and Gustaba was excellent. Flavours were authentic and reminded me of the food we get in Srinagar.

Suggested by a kashmiri friend to try kashmiri wazwan cuisine. It's a take away joint so ordered for marchwangan korma, roganjosh, rista, mutton seekh kabab, tabakh maaz. The rista was Suttle and nice in taste with loads of spices and fragrance. Roganjosh was good in taste with mutton flavours intact in the gravy which gives it a nice meaty flavored gravy. Tabkh maaz was my favourite among all. Marchwangan korma has a very different yet spicy in taste. The pieces and curry was amazing. Those who love spicy food must try this one. wazwan cuisine is a very unique and is an integral part of kashmiri muslims food culture. If you want to try a real 'wazwan saal' you must visit ahad sons food near uday park.

They have the most amazing waazwan, the Kashmiri food.I have tried some of the other Kashmiri restaurants in Delhi and they were very disappointing. But Ahadsons is the best serving the same.I have tried almost everything and I always order Goshtaba, rista, chicken kebabs, saag rista,Tamatar paneer is brilliant and even dum aloo. There is no dine in here and waiting time is little more but its worth waiting.I Simply love their food.

I have tried almost all the dishes available there. Well I'd have to assert that it's one of the leading restaurants in Delhi offering Authentic Kashmiri food. The food tastes delicious, making one feel as if he is back in Kashmir. The methi maaz was a lil too oily, kebabs are awesome, tabak maaz is upto the mark, rista, ruwangan chaman awaken your taste buds tasting as delicious as they can be and of course Roghan josh is also OK, not the best though. The only thing with Ahad Sons is that it has no seating space, you can order the food and have it at home. And the turn offs, too much oil in some dishes like Methi maaz. The yakhni and gushtaba were not as good as expected. After tasting delicious starter and main course, the last dish Yakhni was distasteful and unpalatable.

Great authentic Kashmiri food. My favs are Rista, Goshtaba & Marchwagan Korma. Menu is not overpriced. However they should have better home delivery facility.

Best rista and goshtaba in town. Haven’t tried other things but this is the closest to wazvaan I’ve had in Delhi. The only issue is finding this place. Its hidden in a residential building behind the mother dairy in uday park

A hidden gem. Landmark is the Uday Park Mother dairy. Parking is an issue. But its totally worth all the pain if you are looking for authentic Wazwaan. The gravies are just too good and flavourful. I personally have stopped eating the usual gravies. Worth a try for the experimental foodies.

Food was excellent. If you're new to Delhi, this is a MUST TRY place. It's always crowded in the peak hours, getting a table was difficult for us. Service was fast but still due to the huge crowd it was not competing with the crowd incoming. I couldn't find any negative stacks on the restaurant.

A must-visit in Delhi. You will find very few tourists here. The food is tasty, authentic and cheap. They are super nice and the service is rapid. Try the chole bhature, samosas and jalebis (see attached photos). The mithai (sweets) are also a must-have.

They have the best chhole bhature and cold coffee. Such balanced flavours, freshly made. Their kulfi is also nice - not too sweet, just the right mix of sweetness and flavours. They had such cute paper straws. I asked for some extra and they happily obliged. Must visit place. They have decent space for sitting as well.

ऊंची दुकान, फीकी पकवान! This phase is absolutely suitable for this Shop. Just because this Shop is old and situated in South-Ex, lots of people do visit here.

Loved the food. We really like the amritsari platter, fresh lime, sweet lassi and jalebi with rabdi. All food were awesome. Sabzi served with amritsari platter were also very delicious. Will go again and will try some more items. Well spent daughter day.

A necessary stop for superb sweets. The variety and quality are mindblowing. The best, most delightful kaju and almond based specialities. In the restaurant side, top Bengali dishes, along North and South Indian snacks. Wonderful and highly recommended!

I have been visiting Bengali Sweets since 1990s. Food is the Best that can be had. The only thing that prevents me form giving 5 stars is that the servers (most) are unkempt and the cutlery and crockery is rarely clean. I generally wipe everything with a napkin before using it. But the food keeps me coming back.

Nice! Jalebis are so tasty! Golgappe waale uncle is very sweet!! South Indian food is not good! Rasmalai is also one of the most selling item.
