Opened by a family relative in a very calm and relaxing corner of qutub institutional area, its a delight for food lovers.. I am not saying this for the amazing food that is served here but for the man who will make your eating experience a sheer delight.. He loves to cook and you will experience that in the food you eat.
Simple bengali food and delectable continental dishes are on offer here..
Since bongs are known to make their fish the best.. Its a must try here..
But what one must take home is the awesome 'aam er chatni'. That taste wch reminded me of home instantly is simple insane as an after meal sweet something.
Overall.. Its a place for ppl who enjoy to eat from their hearts. :)
Indeed a lovely place.
Place for authentic home made Bong food coupled with warm hospitality of the owner Mala Mitra! If that is enough, enjoy the spacious interior tastefully made artefacts, stained glass lamp shade and some rare books. Actually every item in the menu is worth trying for. Also three floor climb before a good meal provides a necessary exercise to your body and whet your appetite appreciably! Besides cooking what makes special about the place is the fresh ingredients used in the food, so that no feeling of heavyness post a sumptuous meal!
The place has a nice cosy vibe. The food tastes great and very homely. All the dishes taste really flavourful! The service however is a little slow. I recommend you place the order before reaching, if you are in a hurry! The most amazing however is the nolen gur ice cream.
If you want to indulge in authentic bong food just hop on to bong appetit. The place is quiet and clean having a friendly staff. The menu is full of bengali food having lots of fish items.
We had mutton and peas chop as a starter with mustard and tomatoe sauce. With a chilly chinn mocktails amazingly cool spicy drink to my surprise.
In main course, we ordered mutton kosha with luchi & bekti mustard with rice. Luchi reminds me of hometown memories and the fish was awesomely blended with mustard sauce. This fish has very less bone easily melted in the mouth. Had baked mihi dhana dessert was quite upto the mark.
Was unlucky to missed out on other delicacies such as mutton gugni and rice crepe infused with jaggery.
Better luck next time. Overall a peaceful place to have authentic taste. Good luck Guy's

I came across this place while browsing some nearby eateries in zomato and decided to give it a try.And it was not a bad decision. They have a variety of bengali dishes and all their main courses include a bowl of rice and the dish.We ordered Chicken Kosha which was sufficient for 2 people. The food was well prepared and service was also fast. The ambience was peaceful. The only con about this place is the location of the restaurant as it is not easy to locate.
Us vegetarians have few options. But this place is great. Their Veg thali, (I'm getting confused, there's one which is like the royal sort of spread) is just yumm!!!
So being a non bong, perhaps I do not understand food that much, but the fact is that I love this place. The food is great for me, the servers extremely hospitable and Baron is supercool!
The ambience, the cozy, homely feeling that you get, the minute you enter the dining area is simply amazing.
Really loved the ambience
Its a beautiful place to give a sense of personalization to whoever wants to have an exclusive dining and good words to talk peacefully
The food is prepared live and can be customised
If you are having a bad day this place can cheer you up! This place serves authentic old fashioned bengali food, like paturi , luchi alur dum and fish cutlet, that can brighten your day. The dishes are a little over priced with a not-so-satisfying quantity but the quality is superbly satisfying. The ambience is amazing and the decor is tasfully done. The owner is an art loving bengali and you can strike a great conversation with her.

Bengali food is not very commonly available to folks beyond Chittaranjan Park and maybe Gurgaon. A Bengali may enjoy a wide variety of cuisines, but once in a while, native food craving develops and such was a time when we were in the mood for having a simple Bengali meal without the planning and preparation involved for the homemade version. It was then we learned that Bong Apetit had moved closer home from Malviya Nagar, its erstwhile address. The new location in Qutab Institutional Area was an easy drive away.
The place is on the top floor of the AAUI building, a quiet and cosy nook, but involves a good appetising climb to the third floor, as they do not have the facility of elevators. The décor is pleasing in a simple, relaxed manner, done up with some comfy seating near a book shelf, some old utensils and photographs on display and a dominant, sunny yellow highlight here and there.
The people are friendly, with valuable suggestions about the food orders. We were informed that there was an offer on the Spanish Mahou. It was a good brew and the offer at the time was lucrative. The lunch order was Jhinge-posto (ridge gourd in khus- khus paste), Moong dal, aloo bhaja, one Hilsa tel-jhol and one Hilsa mustard. Their mains come with a complimentary serving of rice, luchi or parathas and we obviously chose plain rice.
The jhinge posto was very well made, a balance of taste of the vegetable and the spice was maintained. The moong dal had the customary peas and hint of spices used in tempering (tadka). The Ilish tel-jhol is an everyday preparation in Bengali households and was done to perfection. The Ilish shorshe (mustard paste) was undoubtedly as classic as the dish is supposed to be.
Since this lunch, we have revisited the restaurant to happily overeat, pack for home consumption and taken guests for a meal too. Their aloo bhaja, circuit house chicken, mutton kosha, crab masala and chutneys (served in a take home bottle, I loved the concept!) have impressed us till date. The prices are reasonable as every discerning non vegetarian can vouch for. The only hurdle we have faced is in home delivery, it has failed every time we tried, either directly or through Swiggy.
A definite for many more repeat visits!
This quaint place has flavours as bright as the yellow that makes the establishment pop. The food is delicious. The roundhouse mutton is a godsend. Also the chillest chef, ever!
I had best of the foods and worst of the foods and then there is Chef Baron's Bong Apetit. You should experience warmth of this place along with aroma of authentic Bengali cuisine. As you can imagine the ambience and decor of the place is very simple yet classy.
So far my favourites from Bong Appetit include Kosha mangso, luchi, chicken/mutton thaali, egg devil and cutlet. In insist you on trying khejurer chatni. A chutney made from dates.
Brilliant food, hospitable service and, a perfect place to be if you are a freelance journalist. It might not be every ones cup of aesthetic tea. Yet I feel that this place is ahead of its time especially when it comes to the hospitality, food and decor. Cheers to Baron and the Team

Good food, great ambience. Cozy, well decorated and gives a nice vibe all together. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the service was good. Portion size could have been better. A great place to have Bengali food 8f you haven't tried it already. Loved it. 10/10 would come here again.
Nice place to taste traditional Bengali food.
Food quality is good. Staff Behaviour also good. Rate is bit higher... Overall nice family restaurant...
Easily accessible in Delhi' s Bong belt, the place is small but cosy. Traditional utensils used for serving food. For vegetarians it is the usual fare but non vegetarians have a long list to choose from. Dessert choice is very limited and mostly procured from outside. The price of accompaniments like chutney should be reduced a bit. Staff behavior is good!
Recently I visited Madly Bengalee for lunch and it was my first experience to eat Bengalee Food. My friend she's bengalee & resides near to that place. My experience was very good. Love the food & services the big thali of food with hands. Later we had Rossogulla #Fantastic
Keep it Madly Bengalee.
Homely food with great taste. Tasty cuisines which will. aimply tickle your taste buds, and will. make you in jiffy which item. to chose and which to be left for next time. I love it everytime when i visit this outlet. And the staffs are tooo polite and good. A ➕
Bengali foods are good but chicken dishes and aloo posto are not upto the mark
Awesome food!
Loved their daal (with a hint of ghee in it), begun bhaja, aloo posto (sumptuous), sorshe ilish, railway mutton curry and borisali ilish...the last item is a must try, it starts with a sweet taste of coconut which slowly merges into the heat of green chillies...it opens up every tastebud in your palate...just too good!!
The ambience has an ethnic touch, although it's not very spacious. There was just a single person serving us but he was very efficient and really warm, took good care of us and received our feedback with a wide smile.
The menu is elaborate for non-vegetarians but even their vegetarian items are very tasty (but choice is limited).
I shall be visiting again very soon...and shall get along more friends with me this time.
