We had the South Indian platter and a paper dosa with masala...both were tasty but the highlight are the chutney..each one of them had a very authentic taste. Filter coffee was okay okay...we had an idea that it's a premium South Indian restaurant and yes, prices are a bit up but not that much. Liked the experience. Pans were served at the end as mouth freshner as well.
It is very good in south indian. very good variants are available here. North indian is also so good. And the service is best. with best staff nd management😃
Found an amazing and yet cheap restaurant in Connaught Place today.
The staff was well trained and the food was tasty and fulfilling.
Idli and Dosa were both crisp and not overtly oily and buttermilk was cool and tasty.
Floor managers are pretty efficient too.
Will come back here for sure!

A few of us hungry people didn’t want to wait outside Saravna Bhavan so we sicediee to give his place a try.
Initially, we found the service and the hospitality to be pathetic. The manager and the waiter(s) seemed so disinterested that we had thoughts of moving out of this place. It took them more than 15 mins to serve us water.
But things changed once we have the order. The order was a 4 Feet long Dosa.
The waiter shifted us to a ‘bigger ‘ table because he told us the Dosa would be longer.
So after a wait of 15 odd mins, the BIG Dosa finally came.
And the Dosa really was made amazingly well. I’ve had much smaller Dosa’s, which turn soggy very fast. But this Dosa maintained its crispness because it took us quiet a while to finish that Dosa too.
3 people come to serve that Dosa and the ‘masala’, sambhar and chutney’s are served separately depending on the number of people who hate having the Dosa together.
Also the service and the hospitality improved considerably once our Dosa came.
So we entered not so happy, but left this place quite satisfied. Should be here again soon.
Sankalp is an understated restaurant. It's often shadowed by nearby Saravan bhawan but the delicacies, huge menu and courteous service holds its own against Saravan. Plus, there's no rush here to leave ASAP, nor is there a waiting period and the added advantage of zomato gold. I prefer Sankalp over Saravan for these reasons.
Got our coffee just the way we like it.Onion uttapam was great. Loved the furniture and the whole vibe of the place. Definitely recommending to friends and family and looking forward to returning.

Food is much better than Saravana Bhavan. Ambiance and service also is better.
