Madhuvan Chinese van is a street food van near alaknanda market. Best thing about them is they are pocket friendly. They are always my first choice whenever I am short of bucks. Food tastes average but you get a satisfied quantity. Ambience and service is also good.
Must try honey chilli potato.

Our "go to" guilty pleasure. Love their chicken clear soup, very refreshing and perfect especially in the winters, though I enjoy it in summers too. It's BIG on flavors! Momos are amazing and so is their crispy veg. There is this odd comfort in eating from this place.

Its been a real long time since Madhuvan had been here. Over the years the quality of the chowmein dropped a bit.

I have been eating from here since a couple of years. This place is situated on the main road in front of Alaknanda Market.

It surely looks un-hygienic. But at this price its fine.
They dont have a seating arrangement and the road is most of the times crowded with heavy traffic.

Service is good. No complaints regarding that.

When it comes to food..
Today i ordered Veg. chowmein , Honey Chilly Potatoes and Fried Momos.

Chowmein was okay
Honey chilly potatoes were really good
Fried momos were decent .

Chilly potato is very tasty!Chowmein also above average...meal is fulfilling...n gr8 for a change!For a van type service, it is quality stuff!:):)service can be a bit better though!

It's basically a Chinese van in front of the much crowded alaknanada market. Their delicacies are awesome. Tried their honey chilli potato, chilli paneer and egg chowmein. The food is good but since it is situated on a busy road side it's not very hygienic. Also, you may not have a proper sitting arrangement. Try other Chinese serving restaurants if you are looking for a proper sitting space and good ambience. But the taste here can't be compared.

I was working and i got extremely hungry. Im kinda broke at the moment so i was tryin to find some momos. I am very specific about my momos, so i never really eat momos from anywhere but a select few places... but i made an exception today. I found this place out on the road so i decided to order chicken fried momos.. The serving was ok.. 10 small momos fried to perfection. But the filling wasnt so exciting.. It was enough to keep me from starving but i probably wont be eating there again.. unless of course im just as broke haha.

Update*** So i dropped by there again on a break from work cuz i was starving again and still broke. Got chicken fried rice.. and it was awesome... I mean the chicken was amazing and the rice and veggies cooked very nicely.. I was actually impressed... and it was very filling. Very satisfied. But the momos still need work
