It was my first time of trying the new sikkim restaurant and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The variety is incredible. On top of that The thukpa is a personal recommendation, it has a nice chicken broth with your choice of meat and vegetables. The sizzler didn’t disappoint either. The infamous thali is really not that nice and needs a lot of work.

Sikkim (/ˈsɪkɪm/ SIK-im; Nepali pronunciation: [ˈsikːim]) is a state in northeastern India. It borders the Tibet Autonomous Region of China in the north and northeast, Bhutan in the east, Koshi Province of Nepal in the west, and West Bengal in the south. Sikkim is also close to the Siliguri Corridor, which borders Bangladesh. Sikkim is the least populous and second smallest among the Indian states. Situated in the Eastern Himalaya, Sikkim is notable for its biodiversity, including alpine and subtropical climates, as well as being a host to Kangchenjunga, the highest peak in India and third highest on Earth.[10] Sikkim's capital and largest city is Gangtok. Almost 35% of the state is covered by Khangchendzonga National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site.[11]

Ambience is lovely n its not easy to find a seat during peak hours . Do advance booking if possible. Overall the mutton thali was delicious but it is incomplete without rotis . Chicken momos is a must try . Sewai of the thali tasted just like a homemade one .

Good variety of menu. Thali was good and so also thukpa, momos and pork spare ribs in. Barbecue sauce. Next time will try other stuff. Very smiley staff. Lovely ambience There's also a curio shop stocking reasonable stuff.

Went there for Sikkim Restaurant. A wide variety of Napalese and Sikkimese food are available here, and it's authentic as well as delicious stuff. Restaurant staff are quite friendly and service is really good and efficient. Only let down is the behaviour of security people outside, which is downright rude and derogatory. Management can improve overall experience by giving a little bit more notice so that such behaviour can be rectified.
