A traditional Jain restaurant which also offers vegetarian Punjabi cuisine.
Food is pure Ghar ka. Restaurant is pretty simple and nothing to talk about w.r.t. interiors etc...they let the food do the talking!
We were greeted by a grand old man with a chuckly, affable smile to welcome us. Later, I guess his grandson, took over. He suggested what food we should be having. The Aalu Paranthas and Gobi Paranthas were yummy. We also ordered 1 baingan ka bharta, which was made in Jain style.
Food was decent. Reminds you of your Ghar ka Khana without any drama!
You will like to visit this restaurant for it's simplicity, earnestness of the management, Ghar ka Khana, and most importantly, for that Octegenarian who reminds you of your own grandfather, visibly satisfied to see his guests enjoying their food.

If you are looking for a decent vegetarian thaali in Ooty, then this is the perfect place... Not that great interiors or anything.. But the service is quick, excellent food quality... And gives you that 'ghar wala' khaane ka feeling... Really happy with everything!
Good place for veg food. Very friendly manager. Can get crowded at times. Mainly North Indian food. Excellent chappatis. Ask for customisation of dishes as per your taste.
Good budgeted restaurant. Great test for its price. Best choice for gujratis and Marwadis in ooty and bestest choice for jains. Place is usually full, you can also order online. On my second day in ooty i had my lunch there, i don't remember having eaten someplace else for the rest of my trip.
Awesome food service and feel of marwadi ambiance.. Very happy to find a place like this.. Food Taste is awesome.. Feel at home.. We go there 2-3 times when we r in ooty.. Ordered dal makhani chapati and lemon rice which is perfect delight for us for dinner and for breakfast we ordered paneer parantha which is fabulous also poha and coffee ☕.. Everything is perfect coffee is very good..loved this place..as being a jain marwadi..prices r very reasonable and pocket friendly..Thumbs up guys.. 😍😊✌
Small, budget and vegetarian restaurant of Ooty. Not much sitting is there and since it is a budget outlet, it remains busy. Staff members are nice but they are so occupied with running so many customer request, they might have to ignore at times :( We tried their signature thali and it tasted ok but more than enough in quantity. Overall, experience was good.
Good place, we were searching for homely Jain food in Ooty. Served us well for our 4 day trip. Good variety in North Indian homely food, not a fancy high end diner. Will recommend to anyone looking for simple Indian vegetarian food.
