Try Chicken AlFaham and Dragon chicken. Every penny worth of it..amazing taste and quality..loved it. Often order in this hotel only. Nice one.
This is a restaurant where North Indian wants to go. Food is awesome... Specially Dal Fry and the mutton Rogan Josh are the best to taste here . Any Muslim wants to eat non veg, can also go there...
Crowded with locals and tourists, moslty from Kerala. I have tried more than a dozen dishes, but would suggest chicken or beef(meat) chatti curry. It is a fine dish, with enough quantity for 2. Fish fry seemed unfresh, with less salt and spices, a bit undercooked, and over priced for this place.(not your nadan fish porichathu)

we traveled with my family to ooty ...we got tasty food thalassery hotel ..good maintenance , services was awesome ,all staffs look tidy and clean. the cashier person junaid very cooperative .they have open and neat kitchen...food quantity was good,worth of money ..
In The Heart of the City not really hard to find it out in the small town ......A Big Restaurant with ample of option for seating u have a live kitchen where u can see your food to be made.Service Guys are Really Helpful they would help you to understand the Cuisine properly And also recommend you the best combination of food.The Presentation of the food is really appealing with curries in Earthen Utensils.

This hotel is shifted from its previous location. You can see its banner at opposite side of the road. This is at first floor. Entrance of this hotel is through the kitchen area. Taste is good. Appam with chicken curry is best try option. Egg dish is not that great.
Good for kerala food. Atmosphere is good and well maintained. The staffs are fine but need to be bit more responsible. The waiting time is average but we couldn't get the requested food for long time, so had to cancel. But still a good place to consider while visiting. Find little difficult to park the vehicle.
I have no benchmark for Kerala food but good here was really testy and reasonably priced compared to A2B. I had breakfast here traditional Kerala food and every item was very tasty. Had the meal for lunch and that was yummy too. Had banana leaf wrapped fish which wasn't as good as other items but the fish was pretty big for the price. Overall recommend if you're looking to try Kerala food.
I won't say it's the best place to eat but if you are looking to explore Malabar cuisine than Thalassery is one of the options in Ooty. The food were delicious and I will rate the food 5 start however the ambience was not good. The restaurant is in the 2nd Floor and you have to climb narrow stairs to reach the restaurant. Overall it's good but not the best.

It was my Nth time to ooty. Coz of the chill climate I was tempted to eat some spicy food that too some Kerala style Malabar biriyani..
Got to know about Thalassery Restaurant in Google. Before lockdown during my trip to Mahe, I tried Thalasserry biriyani at Thalasserry itself it was yummy and finger licking good as they served Ghee rice with mutton masala on top along with Pickles and Pappad.
I took mutton biriyani as my choice today
It was authentic Malabar style Biryani, made with aromatic seeraga samba rice on top with mutton masala. It had 3 huge pieces, it was too spicy which is what I expected for such awesome chill weather.
A must try restaurant in Ooty if you're a hardcore Malabar biriyani lover.. 🤩🤩🤩

All the good had authentic kerala taste but fish was a huge disappointment. It was stinking but the service man gave some reason to justify that fish was fresh. But rest all of the items were very nice.
One of the best hotels in Ooty. Kebabs & their special Thalassery Biriyani is a must try. Tea is pretty good. Have even attached the Menu Card as of October 2018 if it'll help.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nandana Palace, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional, particularly when it comes to their non-vegetarian offerings
We had a good dinner and it was great.
