Dana Pani is located on the main road of Pahalgam. The place has a huge following. The tables are very compact and its impossible to settle a large group.
We tried the Kadai Paneer, Dum Aloo with Tandoori Roti. The Kadai Paneer was delicious and the Dum Aloo is not to be missed. The roti are served super hot. The Dal Fry was delicious as well.
Overall, a must try if you are in Pahalgam.

Located in the main Pahalgam market, this place serves nice vegetarian food. The quantity of items is quite good too. Loved how juicy their aloo gobi sabzi was. Their breakfast options are pretty nice as well. The mix veg paratha was so good. Their tea set is also quite nice and comes in a small tea pot that can be easily shared by 3 people. Complete value for money.
Unlike Srinagar where it was hard to find good vegetarian options , pahalgam offers many vegetarian outlets. Dana Pani is the best one. Tried Dal makhani and panner butter masala it was amazing, sarso saag and makka roti was average. Breakfast options are also great , do try chana bhatura for the breakfast.
P.S. uncle at the counter is always welcoming and smiling. He gave us excellent tips for shopping clothes and buying pure original saffron.
Excellent food and service. Very good punjabi food available, especially Dal Makhni and Paneer Kadhai is recommended. Must go veg option in Pahalgam mall road.
Just dont give a second thought.. you got to eat here. It does not get better than this in Kashmir.
This is by far the best restaurant in Pahelgam, Gulmarg and Shrinagar combined.

If you are in Pehelgam area and looking for pure veg food then this is the only place you can rely on with quality food and great service. Visited in Dec 22 with family and it cost me around Rs900 for 3 people. Overall i am highly satisfied with both the quality and taste of food. Ambience is also very nice with a clean wash room which is rare in that area.
A beautifully located place at Pahalgam where the food which they serve is best. I tried mix parantha and veg sandwich which taste so subtle and tasty
As per the trip advisor and a few other sources, this is supposed to be the number 1 rated food place in Pahalgam.
For pure vegetarians the food quality is fine, however, some improvements would make it a lot more lucrative and delicious. The lovely owner of the restaurant was very hospitable and welcomed our suggestions and feedback positively.
We had Kadhai paneer and Dal tadka with butter naan and plain rice... I have to say the best I tasted here in Pahalgam. Gobi Manchurian and fried rice were not bad but could use some improvements.
