It's a beautiful park to roam around and to conduct picnic with your friends and family. The park was constructed in the remembrance of Major Sandeep Shukla (Ashok Chakra) so it's a great pride for us to feel his presence in this park.
It's a sweet place that is dedicated to the memory of a valiant soldier of India who laid down his life in the line of duty. The place has a calming effect, with its peaceful, silent tank, the memorial, the benches and grass below. It's clean, but urgently needs a dustbin for people to discard waste.... The soldier stands somewhere there, silently taking it all in.
A memorial established in the memory of Major Sandeep Shankla laid his life for the countary, deserves a Salute. Well maintained park epicentre of Govt employees working in adjoining offices, they can be seen passing their lunch time. An attraction point of children, enjoy playing on army tank parked in a corner of memorial. Cemented benches are also installed to have a sit. You will find sitting there old aged and young people, sharing experiences of their life.
Fountain installed never found in working condition, authorities looking after its maintenance should take step to put it into use so that memorial's attraction can be improved.

Sandeep Shankla (Ashok Chakra) Memorial Park is dedicated to memory of courageous Indian Army major who succumbed to injuries during an encounter with nine terrorists who were killed at Zafarkhani Village, Kupwara District, Jammu & Kashmir. Park has beautiful passages around water fountains,small water canal & seasonal flowers are continuously grown. An Army tank is also kept along with an elevated structure consisting of Major's cemetery surrounded by fencings from all sides.

Good place to visit....This park is near by bella vista....This park is maked in the memory of brave major Sandeep.....Really hats off to the services of army mans and women's.....A big salute to them....park is very good to see...There is a very big tanker....May be it is of major sandeep when he is in army...Good to have such brave peoples in the indian army...A big salute to them.......There are so many beautiful flowers to see.and good views are there....Park is maintained very good by the gardener ......Very clean park... I also visited there so I can defined it in very clear way for the peoples who are interested to go on this park...You can also checkout other parks and hotels etc near major sandeep park....This park is at the corner of the circle of sector 6....You can actually proud when you visit there because it is very precious...There is light facility in the park for night visit....In night that park look extra glosy and very nice views you can see in night...At that park the samadhi of major sandeep is build you can also watch it...
