This new Route 66 venue is your chiq American diner place in Panjim!
The ambience has major Biker/Rock vibes, much to my boyfriends’ delight.
Wall art with classic vintage posters create an enchanting retrostyle atmosphere.
Routes is known for its Cheesy burgers (thick and juicy) and Juicy steaks!
The Burgers on the menu are diverse with interesting varieties.
They truly showcase the creativity and ambition of the chef.
We had the ‘Big Cheez Burger’, a grilled beef hamburger with cheddar cheese, accompanied with crispy potato wedges (these were fantastic!)
Truly a juicy and hearty burger! (And mouthful)
Have had the HellBoy and Wolverine Burgers in the past. Delicious, from what I remember.
If you’re feeling extra indulgent, try the WTF burger, a double patty burger with loads of bacon, jalapeños, frankfurters and a sweet-spicy sauce. However you won’t be able to have anything else.
Had a flambé of fillet mignon, medium well (according to your preference) steak flambeed with brandy, at the table. Meat was done just right! And we had a nice red wine reduction sauce, sautéed veggies and fries (we ordered more of it later) to go with it.
Penne Ariabata was flavourful for sure, but was letdown by the undercooked penne.
We visited during near- lockdown, so a lot of the menu was cut down. As for beverages, we settled with Kingfisher beer, which was absolutely fine!

Route 66 is situated at Mala in panjim, there's ample parking space for the customers. Once you enter the vibes are just great, the ambience is very soothing and has some amazing portraits of various artists on their wall and the staff is very welcoming ❤️

We tried the grilled chicken quesadilla that's a tortilla stuffed with grilled chicken along with mexican spices and cheese served with sour cream and salsa and it was pure indulgence.
If you love mexican food, you need to try it out.

Then for mains we tried the grilled Cajun Chicken Pizza and this is the first time we are trying the pizza that's not the basic circle in shape and is rectangle shaped pizza.

The pizza was topped with grilled Cajun chicken, mushrooms, bell peppers and cheese. The pizza just gives you the home made vibes, not like the actual restaurant pizza. I really loved the pizza too. Can't wait to try the other pizzas.

We tried some amazing mojito and pinacolada mocktails that was refreshing and was served in a very presentable jar and a matka. Really loved the touch of the way it was served❤️

Have always placed home delivery and each time the food was very consistent in taste, portion size, packaging. Their sandwiches/burgers are awesome - Grilled Cajun Chicken Sandwich, Hell Boy, Fat boy are great. Hickory BBQ Bacon Cheese is my fav. All are big in size and to add to that, are served with a side of fries. They are the best burgers I have had in Panjim.
A must visit place if you're into some delicious and mouth watering burgers. A bit expensive but worth paying every penny for such a good taste. Should definitely visit once.
Best burger one can have is their WTF burger... Have eaten it 3 times and have also recommended to many. They all loved it like crazy. Must try... One might find it expensive but trust me that you'll not have an inch of space left in your tummy after that.

Heard a lot about this place and finally managed to visit on a Sunday, for a really late lunch.
The decor is cool. Bikers, rock lovers - this place is for you, like totally!!
I ordered a virgin pinacolada and Cobb salad. Had these two there and ordered a chicken burger (the only single patty one) as takeaway.
My drink was awesome. It tasted really good. The way it was presented was even better.
My salad was perfect - this really looks like I’m advertising the place because I work there or something 😄😄 but I can’t help appreciating this place!!! I’m always on the look out for such haunts and rarely come across good ones in Hyd or Mumbai.
The bacon was crispy and the chicken was fresh. I’ve had this salad before in other pubs and one of the items would always taste stale.
My take away chicken burger was delicious as well. The portion size was on the smaller side but suited me just fine.
The service was great too. I loved the attention they were giving their patrons - neither too obtrusive (like certain global rock haunts) nor too callous like typical desi joints.
Will definitely be back for more...
A great place to eat at in Panaji. Sharing it’s name with a famous route in USA, the food is inspired from the same. The burgers are great, even though I had a veg one! The only issue- service can be a little quick, but may be they take some extra time to prepare some great food!

About the Place:-
Located in Panjim, route 66 is super popular with its classic interiors and retro vibes. They serve mainly and are famous for their Italian, burgers, bbq and so on. They also have classic 80s music which makes the place even more lively. The quality of the food is really good and the service is quick also, the staff is cordial and attentive. It’s a perfect place to hang out with buddies and even family. This is a meat lovers paradise. The chef personally pays attention to every dish and the owner/chef suggested some really good dishes.
What we tried:-
1) Fresh Orange juice and Apple-Carrot-Ginger Juice (Highly Recommended)
As soon as we came here we were thirsty and what better than fresh fruit juice. Both of them were refreshing. We recommend this.
2) Chicken Quesadillas
Delicious tortilla stuffed with chicken cheese and sautéed mushrooms served along with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa. It is a nice appetizer. Mild in taste super cheesy in a good way.
3) Drums of Hell (Rs. 289)(Highly recommended)
Spice lovers have to try this out delicious chicken wings topped with spicy buffalo sauce. It's messy to eat but totally worth it. We recommend this especially if you like spicy food.
4) BBQ Chicken Pizza (Rs. 399)
A classic bbq chicken pizza with juicy and thick chunks of chicken served on a thin crust cooked to perfection. The smoky bbq sauce is delicious and the quantity of the pizza is perfect for when you are with a bunch of people.
5) Roxette Burger (Rs.349)(Highly Recommended)
Honestly, I have had a lot of chicken burgers but this has been by far the best burger and served with perfectly crispy fries. The burger is kinda heavy but juicy and very tasty. The chicken patty is thick and the burgers here are a must-have. They have a lot of variety of burgers.
6) Newyork Cheesecake (Rs. 269)(Highly Recommended)
Freshly baked cheesecake served with a berry compote this is the perfect way to end an amazing meal. The serving portion is generous and they have a lot of other desserts displayed there so you could try any of them this was recommended to us and we loved it.

Got recommended this place by a friend who comes to Goa often. I’m so glad she did. I don’t normally eat burgers but boy I did tonight. It was outstanding. This place is a gem you must visit!!!!
Food was absolutely astounding - wild hog was a gigantic burger will the best pulled pork that fell off the bone I’ve ever had

We stopped at Route 66 for a very late lunch after looking up the restaurant on Google. Since it was an odd hour it was sparse with just one other group. I was quite impressed by the striking interiors and artwork to reflect the pan-American cuisine. The space is open and inviting with the dining furniture comprising solid tables and chairs as well as diner style booths.
The staff was courteous and accommodating. We had dietary restrictions and the chef was able to conform to our requests. The food quality and taste was not compromised. Our custom order thin crust vegan pizza was a winner!
The cocktails are amazing.

Awesome restaurant! The ambience, the food and the service was excellent. The food menu was reasonable, however the bar menu and desserts are quite pricey. The restaurant in itself is quite color full. Each table is hand painted with different themes. Overall a very good experience.

Fun place where we dined and got to hear amazing live music. Service was quick and always with a smile. The food... The food was to die for. We ordered SOB burger (amazing and tasty), the route 66 burger, apple and ginger ale mocktail, smoked BBQ wings, rum cake pop and NY cheesecake.
Went last Sunday to this small and compact steak house situated right behind Panjim KTC. Dont let the size of the place fool you about the tasty treats it serves. I had heard a lot about their burgers & pork ribs and finally got a chance to try them out.
I had ordered the Angels & Demons burger while my friend went for the one with Double beef patty & bacon. The beef patty in my Angels & Demons burger was just cooked so perfectly and had a peppery sauce to it. It had a smoked chorizo on top too. It was one of the few burgers which I could finish easily without making a mess out of it :P . Served with potato wafers & a dip, it was a treat in my mouth.
Coming to why I didn't give it a 5 if it was that amazing. The burgers costed a whopping 599+taxes and the size of the burgers were smaller than what we expected. Also, the brownie milkshake was suggested to us as one of the best. But we found it pretty normal. So there you go!
Craving for American diner route 66 is the place
ambience needs TLC , ACs were not efrective enough, seats were cramped, and getting in / out was difficult as well.
Food quality was good, and the presentation was a bit average, but the taste was good.
Menu is not updated, so you have to go through the online menu (which is good in a way)
So overall 3.5 rating!
Nice experience. Parking is available outside. The food is amazing. Mocktails especially tropical punche is refreshing.
Must visit if you are coming to explore fontainhas,Goa.
If you are a Burger lover take a quick bite at 'The Route 66 ' , you'll love the delicious varieties of hot 🔥 (Menu) burgers . However the soft drinks which I ordered was the worst ever , very disappointed !!
