So a friend happened to recommend this place for our group outing. I am thankful to this friend for introducing me to this amazing place for Asian food. Loved each and every dish served. The staff paid special attention to our needs and were courteous. I have no words to describe how tasty and flavourful the food here is. I must say amazing cooking by amazing chef. Will definitely want to visit them again.

The crispy Ebi rolls are something to die for. The mixture of shrimp, cream and crispy rice was just too delicious. Did you know that, Ebi is a preparation style in Japan that involves the shrimp being "butterflied" meaning that they are split open from the bottom side and laid on flat. Ebi is very popular among all sushi fans. We literally ordered a second round of these rolls.
The ambience is a mix of Thailand and Japan coming together just to create an amazing menu for us.
The service is excellent. Patience and calm is something I noticed there.
It is a very peaceful environment to be in.
Happened to pass by and stopped for lunch. The ambience is really good. Eddie was welcoming and served us really well. 😀 Wok fried Shanghai Chicken was scrumptious and also the burnt garlic chicken noodles with Hong Kong Chicken was delicious. It's a must visit for authentic Chinese food lovers.

Enjoyed dining at this place. Loved the shrimp sushi, sesame chicken , squids and prawns with wasabi sauce. The thai green curry was very sweet and we didn't enjoy it much. Hence gave 4stars instead of 5. The service was fast and courteous. Big shout out to Sanath for providing us good service. Looking forward to visit this place again someday! What a beautiful Asian Fare!!! I’m going to cut to the chase and not ramble about the ambience because we all know it’s great!
We started with some drinks. One a cocktail, another a mocktail. The cocktail was the Berry Long Island Iced Tea and mocktail was a fruit punch. The BLIIT was refreshing and oh so boozy! By the end of our meal I had a brilliant buzz !
For starters we had the Crunchy Pork, Beef Satay and Chicken Steamed Dimsums. The Pork is a must must must try. The Pork is so thin and crunchy and the fat is ever so slightly present. My mouth is salivating remembering this beautiful dish. The beef Satay is so so well marinated and tender and the peanut sauce takes it to a whole different level. The chicken Dimsums were tender and average.
For mains we had the Nasi Goreng, Burnt Garlic Fried Rice and Sliced Beef and Walnuts. Nasi Goreng was beautiful. The rice was cooked beautifully and the sauces in it were perfect. The burnt Garlic Fried Rice had a perfect burnt Garlic taste and could be very well eaten on its own. The show stopper of our main course was the beef dish. Such tender melt in the mouth Beef and a gravy with a perfect balance of crunch. However we found shells of the walnut which when conveyed to our server, was handled beautifully by the staff.
We got served a complimentary dessert!! A decadent and indulgent warm brownie with ice cream

Very nice sushi! I always order from here only and enjoy 😻. Once they delivered by mistake other rolls, not exactly what I ordered. So next day Red Ginger manager did replacement for my order free. And I’ve got 2nd order free. So it’s tasty 😋 food. Nice and polite service. They really care about customers. You can trust them.

My journey to search for the best sushi restaurants in Goa took me to The Red Ginger located in Dona Paula. The ambience screams South East Asian with a good deal of class. I just didn't want to go for one type of sushi so I ordered the platter. The service is quite slow though. The sushi that I have had at The Red Ginger is the best I have ever had in Goa. Besides the sushi the squids and the dumplings were some of the best I have had in Goa. The price is on point and I don't mind travelling to enjoy the sushi at The Red Ginger
Love the vegetarian sushi options, dimsums n noodles. Ambience is good. Service is good. Seating cud b more comfortable. Overall nice place..

Visited this restaurant for Mothers day since my wife and my mother both love Asian food... The stuffed crabs, pork dim sum and the soup was excellent...
Black pepper chicken was superb along with the burnt garlic prawn fried rice...
Only scope for improvement was with the hakka noodles which needed a little better seasoning and the pork spicy red ginger could be spicier...

If you're looking for an authentic Asian cuisine experience this is the place to visit! The ambiance is pretty good and warm on the eyes, the music suits the theme....the food is amazing. I tried the sushi and sashimi and it did not disappoint. The seafood was really well cooked, I loved the Squid Calamari served with a ginger infused sauce... the cocktails are pretty good too served with fresh ingredients! Would definitely visit again!

Heard about The red ginger ,Panaji couple of weeks ago from my friend that’s when I have decided to visit this restaurant , and surely my decision wasn’t wrong Salmon and avocado roll ( Best sushi I have ever tired ) and honey chilli chicken is which I recommend for the ones who love tangy sweetness. Always wanted to go to the red ginger in the south but never got the chance to make the trip specially, thankfully they've now opened in Dona Paula. Love ambience and a massive place, I was pretty surprised to see how big their seating area and capacity was but they definitely had the staff to cope with it! Service was pretty good and the prices weren't cheap but they were decent for the whole experience and quality. I tried the non veg sushi platter which is decent, the crispy pork and the beef tenderloin in peppercorn and lemongrass. They also make some really great cocktails but they're as expensive as the dishes so if you're on a budget stick to the mocktails or regular beverages. All round a decent experience with a great ambience and good service

Me along with my family decided to visit Red Ginger on the occasion of it being my birthday. We headed for a Friday lunch, and ordered the Philadelphia Roll Sushi (8pieces) - Really liked it!, and the Drums if Heaven - Decent stuff.
For main course we ordered the Green Thai Chicken curry, Fried Rice, Jasmine Sticky rice and the Roasted pork in plum sauce. I was firstly impressed with the quantity, while we didn't order much, it was definitely sufficient for 4 people. We did mostly enjoy the Thai Green Chicken Curry.
Cocktail ordered was the Raspberry LIIT, I'd give it a 3/5.
Overall i think i would mostly come back for the sushi, the Thai curry and for the hospitality.

I was in a family trip when i saw this board called "The red ginger". I thought of giving a try and the best thing is , the try was worth trying 😊😊. A place like dona paula having a pan asian restaurant at the right centre of attraction is a high selection by the management who ever is looking after. The decor is mind blowing with so many buddhas smiling at you. The foods were amazing, sushi to start with to give your mouth a watering flavours with the selection of tuna, salmon and prawns.
Dimsums are yum, followed by main course as well.
Staffs are very courteous, helpful and with amazing food knowledge.
Lastly, about drinks we tried sangria and cazulo grenite. To be honest, this place has no way to turn you down😍😍

A glimpse into Thailand, and this is the place to tentalize your taste buds. Let's start with the drinks ~ and the pomegranate margarita is definitely a refreshing choice. Want a hint of crispiness ?! Yes please 😬 then crispy pork is the choice. Followed by freshly steamed Momo's with condiments. For main course burnt garlic fried rice and Thai green curry was our favorite. And to end our Thai rendevous was the delicious Dates sesame ball with ice cream stuffed with dates and grated coconut. Loved every bite 👌 we shall visit again and highly recommend this place.
The perfect place to drop down to if you're craving for legit Asian Cuisine and particularly Japanese! A well decorated place with adequate lighting and calm atmosphere. The staff is perfectly trained to make your evening all the more special paying keen attention to every little detail!
The food is delicious, leaving no point to complain whatsoever, the first time indulging into Sushi and let me tell you, I'd definitely go back there for more, it had a tempura based core and light flavour circulating in the grains of rice, just marvelous! Everything else also was on point hinted at the Asian cuisine!

Wonderful place opened in panaji with a pan Asian food. And most positive thing is its just nearby to my home.It's a great place to spent a time with a family. Pandan mojito and matcha sour 🤤 is the drinks which has now became my favourite drinks, it's just an AWESOME.For the foods it's just a crazy place, especially for the foodie like me.Aww very much impressed with the ambience, especially with the buddha's on the entrance such a mind pleasing once it makes you happy even on the sad mood and the management are just a WOW.

Great place and great ambience. I personally learned the usage of chopsticks from here. The servers are very friendly. The food is good, I would not say exceptionally delicious but definitely good, Saying so definitely a good place to visit with your family or friends, and do make sure you visit in the evening, just adds to the ambience and vibe.

It's a wow thing to have a pan Asian restaurant nearby. Dona paula received one . So happy it opened up here, it has a comfy ambiance with much energetic music. Their Susi are 10/10. Must try their juicy pork as the name suggests, it delights your every part of your mouth. Service is 10/10 with much collection of northeast people with their cheerful smile and services which makes very homely . To the list in sip of toung, must try their special cocktail ,The pandian mojito with traditional wrapping of banana leaf with so much of berry flavour. It's lovely with so many varieties.

The Red Ginger, Panaji has an exciting menu which blends delicious cuisines to make new, exciting, tasty asian food. This Salmon and avocado sushi roll is just one of hundreds of dishes they have to offer. With a menu that big, a seating so lush you don't feel like getting back up, an interior so elegant and a bar so diverse, it has my 10/10 for service, ambience, hospitality and quality of food.
For centuries, Panaji has been dominated by only 1 good Chinese restaurant in the city. Now, Red Ginger is here, with its vibrant menu and my favourite Sushi !!
I have been to this place twice over the month and both times have come out very pleased with the food, ambience and service. Must tries here, are honey chilli chicken, kum pao chicken, and wok tossed noodles (they were exceptionally well made). I tried just one type of sushi (Prawn tempura) as I wasn't sure how it would be and I would definitely say, this is your place to try sushi if you haven't before. Lemongrass and Wildcat mocktails are unique and refreshing.
The servers are really nice and try to make your visit as memorable as possible. Waiting to visit again to try more Sushi.
Red Ginger's Panjim branch is as delightful as the Colva one. The interiors are very nice, same theme going on here too. The menu looks identical, and tastes as good too.
((I have only one request -- please consider playing something softer -- loud pop-music in Asian restaurants of this caliber is really off-putting. Suits Fisherman's Wharf's vibe.)

Flavourful food. We had chicken & spinach dumplings which were delicately flavoured & Salt & Pepper Chicken to start. Lamb Sichuan (spicy) shredded beef Hong Kong (like in a black bean gravy) & chicken Kum Pao (more like sweet & sour than spicy). Rice & noodles rather overpriced but the rest was reasonable for size of portion and taste
We're glad this opened up in Panjim. It is identical to the Red Ginger in South Goa. We tried three different sushi including the California rolls, the shrimp and tempura and the salmon and avocado. All were delightful although smaller in size than other sushi restaurants in Goa. We also tried the stuffed crab and chicken dumplings. The three sauces were really tasty. The service is quick and friendly and we recommend this restaurant.
Visited the new outlet of The red ginger in Donapaula, the old one being in Colva. The location of this one is too much in the interiors. However there was a good crowd on a Sunday night. The place is spacious and has a good number of seatings available. I loved the fancy chairs and wish I could take one home. Food presentation, quantity and quality was top notch. The staff was very hospitable as well. Had a good dinner night. Cheers

first things first... it's close to home, bang on the Dona Paula circle. very Happy to see some nice place to dine in this area. The food is Pan Asian. We ordered a mix of veg and non veg dishes, both were equally good in presentation, quality and quantity. Some good cocktails on the Menu. yet to try though !! the ambiance not too over powering, the service was really really good. the staff is aware of the Menu and the ingredients in all the dishes ,it was quite impressive. I guess that's all for now. Keep up the good work guys.

Very grateful something good opened in a place like Dona Paula that has very few options to eat at.
The space is kitschy done up in classic shades of indo-asian identity - reds, whites with gold skirting and Buddha imagery everywhere. the staff is very warm, make you comfortable right away.
I'm going to start by saying the drinks were surprisingly good (you don't expect nice cocktails at a mid-range Asian restaurant). The raspberry iced tea is a large mug worth and topped with beautiful halved raspberries (pprobably frozen but you can taste them fully in the drink). The bloody Mary was excellent too, with half a rim of salt and the other half - wasabi ! Quite a hit.
The sushi flavor and meats were excellent but the nori (seaweed) used in the roll was slightly tough which is a common issue with sushi here in Goa and makes for a longer chew. The tempura roll was alright but loved the salmon avocado and any nigiri topped with delicate salmon and tuna.
Of the food, it's typical indo-chinese so order whatever you're familiar with, but the beef tenderloin was excellent. The crispy pork's flavor was slightly lost in the crunchy chewiness of each piece.
Will definitely be going again especially since it is close to work at GMC 💖

Perfect place for an oriental meal. It is at a strategic place at the Dona Paula junction The decor was done in a play of red vibrant and soft muted colour ,the table decor was a simple strand of fresh natural orchids , the lounge music was a delight. Food : I tried the Dumplings which were soft and well done. Laksa was flavourful too , The Nasi Goreng was absolute winner for the evening. The sensible change this restaurant has brought in like many others is using paper straws and 200ml of bottled drinking water.

Tried this new place for my birthday lunch and it turned out to be a great decision. The food was authentic, beautifully prepared and presented, and the service excellent! Definitely coming back!
It's great place for pan Asian food specialy non-vegetarian platter sushi and juicy pork dumplings some delicious cocktails I had Pandan mojito well trend staff over all good experience Heartly recommended place for all people. Loved the ambience, our attentive server and food quality. The sushi by Chef Kalyani were absolutely finger licking good and disappeared instantly. The baos were amazing as well

Superb ambience, ample seating space. Live band playing.
We had the dimsums (chicken) which were awesome, the filling was succulent. The Kum Pao chicken was also good, tangy taste with cashewnuts.
But the highlight was the sushi. The dragon roll sushi which we had was AWESOME, the whole myriad of individual flavors came together well to give a real treat to the taste buds. Would definitely recommend this (and also their prawn tempura sushi).
For dessert we had the cheesecake which was really AMAZING. And the caramel pudding was good as well.

For anyone new to sushi or seasoned sushi lovers, scallion tempura by chef Kalyani at The Red Ginger is highly recommended. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to answer my questions added to the overall positive dining experience. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were exceptional, a delightful crunch with every bite.

One of the few restaurants serving delicious Asian food. That ambience is also suits this themed restaurant. I absolutely loved the sushi and dimsums served here. Also thai curry is tasty. I also happened to try a few cocktails which were also great. The service is excellent too . Overall an amazing experience.. wud definitely recommend 😀👍🏼
Wow. I definitely recommend this place. Lovely staff. Chef comes to table to be sure all is well. Good prices. And the food was delicious. The Prawn Butter Garlic was amazing. I've never had prawns so tender & taste so fresh. The Indonesian Beef Peanut Satay was also incredible. I was full, but wanted more. So I order a Philadelphia Roll to take home. Equally delicious. I'll be back.
This place is good for Asian cuisine . It has a nice ambience and tasty food. The Wok Tossed Shanghai chicken and Prawns Tempura with Hot Garlic sauce is a must try. Although the food is tasty, the service is a little slow. Plus if u drive to this place then parking will be a headache.
Loved the shrimp and tempura maki rolls.... wonton soup was good, ask them to add coconut milk to the Tom yum to make it really yumm, their burned garlic rice was good along with Thai green curry.

Good food , good décor , amazing staff and chef. Details for attention. We ordered the sushi platter which was delicious. The crunchy pork was crispy and juicy good flavor, the pork dumplings us a must try cooked to perfection, and for drinks margarita was well made. Will visit the restaurant again
Super dinner! Exceeded expectations. We had a couple of the veg sushis/makis, some dumplings and a mock meat main. Sushi was possibly the best we’ve ever had. Tasty and unique.
Had an amazing experience at The Red Ginger. Great service by Nitesh. Nice ambience. Great food, we had Tom yum soup, Dragon rolls, Crispy chicken wantons, Red Ginger rice bowl and apple pie. Chef Kalyani made sure the food was top notch and it sure was. Overall it was totally worth it!!
I can't explain how amazing food they offer. The red ginger kitchen is really out of the box. The food is so tasty and well presented. Thai food, seafood is worth trying.
