Favourite place to have goan breakfast. Absolutly love the mix bhaji served here. Add some mirchi or buns to this and its a heavenly combo. Every time we come to goa we make a trip here.
When we think of Goan Snacks. We think of Cafe Tatos . Being one of the oldest cafes in capital city of Panaji they are known for their Taste & Quality. Dont miss to tryout their Sukhi Bhaji Puri, Mix Bhaji Puri, Buns.
This is the place where we visit just to have mix bhaji pav. They serve the delicious batatwado! ❤️And plate of mirchi is a must. They do serve yummy thali for lunch.
This is the place my dad and aunts would visit for tea. This then became a hangout with my best friend - we used to visit it when we were in college or when we were in town in the evenings. Now I visit it as often as possible with my husband and order SUKHI PURI BHAJI. No other restaurant can beat TATO’s SUKHI PURI BHAJI.
Shuki bhaji is my most favourite dish to order and I m eating it since my childhood same taste same quality...... cheers to Tato , well now recently cafe tato has done up brilliantly extremely high level on interior in Panaji
Vallor 👍🏼
Must do in Goa is eat bhaji pav. tato is 100 year outlet that consistently does really nice bhaji pav. If you are a visitor to the state go for the BUNS and SUKHI BHAJI. this is like the aloo sabji / bandi dosa / tiki / etc of Goa. You get 3-4 varieties of bhaji ( subzi) goes with Puris, chapati, and goan local pav and bun. Tato does this really nice. Legends in Goa and must visit place for sure. They also do a nice Goan veg thali for lunch.
This is the place which my dad used to go when he worked in Panjim and now i continue the tradition of eating here ! I personally visit here only for breakfast, because this is the best place for having Goan breakfast and absolutely Value of money pricing.
I have tried theier sukhi bhaji, patal bhaji, mix bhaji and sangam bhaji... I just love all of it. The goan pav which they serve is always fresh and nicely baked.
also, not to miss the batatawada and mirchi plates... lip smacking awesome !
we also tried the medhu wada this time and that too was nicely done.

Very economical with great ambience and excellent service. Never imagined that I’d have that good veg thali for just 100rs in a place like Goa. I think it’s closed on Sundays but if you wanna have a quick lunch while you’re working near Panjim.. then this is the place you should be going to!!
We always end up in Tato's after a night out to sober out with a heavy breakfast. These guys make yummy Bhaji's, Wada's, Samosas, Buns, coffee and the list goes on.. The ambience is really nice and clean, food is pocket friendly too. I would recommend this place if your looking for a lip smacking breakfast!
One of the greatest places to visit in Panjim City, GOA, is @Cafe Tato.
When we went here in December of 23, we ate breakfast most of the time.
Although there are other cafes with similar names, this one is the original and was trustworthy as well as decent.
The cafe's atmosphere is pleasant, tidy, clean, and well-maintained.
The staff is really helpful, and the service is prompt as promised.
The majority of the menu is excellent, but you should definitely try the Goan curries, including sangam curry with banana buns. This is Sachin Tendulkar's fave as well.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend going here.
Cafe Tato is one of the classic breakfast restaurant. Their all dishes taste good and wholesome. I had ordered Buns, Mirchi bajji, bhaji and puri for breakfast. The taste of all items were good. Eventhough it's famous for it's breakfast menu their lunch items are quite delicious too. I had ordered paneer biryani and gobi Manchurian which were surprisingly good.
TATO Hotel serves a fantastic Goan-style breakfast! The food is delicious, with many traditional options. The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I highly recommend it for a tasty morning meal.
Best goan veg breakfast loved the puri alu bhaji
My all time fav place for the best and authentic Goan breakfast.

This eatery has been around for as long as I can remember. Good for breakfast. The Sukhi and Alsane bhaji along with the buns are my favourites.
A very pleasant location at patto panjim with decent meals. Their masala dosa, which I had, was excellent. The employees are nice and friendly. Nice location for gatherings with friends and family and also for professional meetings. The costs are affordable. The amount of food served is also good. The tea and cold coffee were also good. The place is a little crowded in the evenings. Overall a good place for breakfast and evening meals.
Almost all their dishes are quite delicious. Prices are reasonable. Mirchi are the best. Try their Goan Bhaji, mirchi, buns and even bombay bhaji pav. One of the best veg food you can have in Panaji. Recently tried their biriyani and veg crispy that were delicious too. I have always left satisfied from tatos, thanks to their consistent quality and taste.
Went here after Sachin Tendulkar's reel made it into my feed. Very very good food, reasonable and highly underrated place! Must visit to get Goan + Marathi snacks
The ambience is cosy enough to remind one of home, with the restaurant’s hygiene being top-notch. Tato’s’, as it is commonly known today, has a wide range of vegetarian cuisine. Their speciality is their mouth-watering puri bhaji, which has a range of options to choose from. Right from sukhi bhaji (potato), chana bhaji (chickpeas), salaad bhaji (onions) and mix bhaji (a mix of all the bhajis together). Their wide menu also includes other bestsellers such as vegetarian thalis, buns, sheera, samosas and batata vadas.
TIME: 7:00 am to 8:30 pm
PRICE RANGE: ₹50 - ₹250
MUST TRY: Sukhi bhaji, samosas and sheera
