This review is from my 13 year old son. Excellent service, not only in the restaurant but also outside, a very kind gentleman will open the door politely for you. Feels like special private service. Options for both inside and outside dinner are available. The food is A-1 for all the ages. The food will take care of taste as well as health. So totally excellent for people who are on diet or have any other medical issue. Don't go on rates as the quantity served is comparatively more than any other restaurants. This restaurant excels in all the areas like health, cleanliness, hygiene, taste and service. Only suggestion to restaurant owner is to bring more comfortable chairs.

This is typical dhaba style restaurant. But neat & clean place. I just loved the food at this place. We tried Chicken Tandoori & Desi Chicken Handi. Taste of both the items were top-notch. (Drinks are served here as well) Overall good place to have few drinks with friends & have good food.

Awesome Dhaba... Allows alcohol to be carried inside... They also serve beer....started with chicken started ...tasted so good n spicy like gun powder preparation... Friends had fish they said it was also awesome.... But what stands out was mutton Lapeta . What a dish ..one of the best on the recent times...went so well with rice made roti. Also had solkadi ..didn't like it much... But karwas....first milk from cow it seems.... Superb...

It's oldest veg or non veg restaurant here. Very good service or food items. But there are little communication problem with Marathi waiter for Hindi speaking. But overall services is very good.

So this was the 2nd time when we visited this place which is situated on Goa Mumbai expressway, very easily accessible.
Ambience is very basic and mind you this restaurant do not have an ac section but is well ventilated, neat and clean.
Staff is very helpful when it’s comes to deciding menu.
I highly recommend you to try their bombil Koliwada it’s melt in the mouth soft and delicious, we tried green lapeta chicken which I felt was okayish but I loved their red masala chicken lapeta more which I had tried during my last visit.
Mutton kheema masala was delicious and so was masala bhaat.
Since it’s situated on main road so parking isn’t an issue.

Just half hour away from my place, even though I am here once or twice a month, had never tried this place!

Was tempted to have have chicken, so decided to try this place and review it!

Even though this place is famous for Chicken lapeta(as per the reviews), being the first time, I decided to go simple, just to see how the chicken dishes are cooked!

The place was empty, a family of 5-6 came in just before I was about to leave!

Service was good and prompt!

Ordered a Chicken tikka, with 2 rotis, made rolls of it with the salad.

I was expecting just something average, but I have to say this was definitely one of the best chicken tikkas I have had in sometime.

Good 8 pieces, and was so juicy and succulent, and with the right amount of spice!
Rotis were soft and delicious!

Can't wait to try their other dishes!

So Yesterday I had dinner, which was not good and don’t bother if you’re a vegetarian!
Pushy servers who leave you waiting. Bad, bad, bad I won’t be back!
Before when i visited this place was good but now as they renovated it’s not what it was before.
Their restaurant situated on the Mumbai-Goa Highway and it is really very good location!
You’ll find many Other Dhaba type Restaurants around here!!
Next time will try the other one here.
Important thing is that the quality of seafood & meat served here was soo good before but now has fallen to 4 on a scale of 10.
I ordered Surmai Fry, Prawns, Chicken Lapeta, Prawns Masala & many other items along with Bhakri which was not as expected to me but can do with it not that too low with quality & quantity.
Typically its Aagri Koli Food.

Give a try here!

Good place for having dhananjay style food. It is good for non veg food lovers. Chicken Lapeta is famous dish over here and one must have it... For vegetarians they also serve Paneer Lapeta which has same gravy as that of chicken Lapeta.
Made a big mistake by changing our plans of visiting Sai Krupa at the last moment and visiting this place. As the menu of both of the places is similar we decided to try Hotel Ekveera for a change as we had visited sai krupa a number of times.

The lower level was decently occupied on a weekend so we decided to try the upper level overlooking the highway. Recommended only for men.

We ordered a mutton lapeta and chicken koliwada alongwith some rice bhakris.

The service was very slow compared to sai krupa and we had to remind the waiter a number of times about the order. After a much delayed wait the food arrived. The mutton lapeta looked good, quantity a bit less even for a half portion but was super salty. Seems it is deliberately made salty keeping the drinkers in mind. The chicken koliwada was edible though it was quite bony. The soft drinks we ordered also took quite a time to be served. Overall the experience was quite average and we learnt a lesson to stick to the tried and tested places.
Angry_When_Hungry
Food was ok but it would be good if it was less spicy where as we were disappointed when we heard that ac sitting was not working plus we had no naan so forcefully we have to eat bhakris overall not a great experience

Drove all the way from Mumbai to eat at this restaurant / dhaba in Panvel right on the highway (it’s on Google Maps, thankfully). Ekvira serves Maharashtrian, coastal cuisine. Think deep-fried, spicy, masala-filled stuff. Definitely not healthy – but it is tasty!. Try the prawns and the fish – both are really fresh. Also, do try the Lehsuni Channa (my favourite) – has loads and loads of garlic! The AC wasn't working on the day we had gone :(((

Nice ambience... Open air seating available.. We ordered chicken mumtaz with tandoori roti. It tastes yummy and suffice for 4 people.. Biryani rice was also good... Must try once.. It's on Panvel goa highway... Can go with family for dhaba type feeling and great food...

Pathatic service and food, not worth for a family. It takes one hour to food to be served and after so long waiting all ordered Chicken Lapeta is half coocked.

A nice place on the National Highway, an amazing Maharashtrain cuisine Dhaba. The don't serve alcohol, but the food they serve is nice. Not all there dishes can be rated 5, but one dish does and that is Mutton lapeta,it's awesome, the meat is tender, the gravy is yummy.....a unique dish you get here is "Hadi chilly, which is chicken chilly with bones. For rice dish please try their masala rice, which is phodnibaat and has amazing flavours to it

Went to the place for lunch.
Its a family resto on Mumbai-Goa highway.

We ordered Chicken kadak masala and pomfret tawa masala in starters, loved chicken kadak masala; its a dry spicy chicken, so those who doesn't eat spicy pls inform beforehand.. fish was tawa shallow fried served with alot of dry fried masala: fish was not that impressive but just loved that masala served along

In main course we ordered chicken lapeta, which was like the chicken made at home; again the slight spicy warning for this too.

Both the chicken was a super hit.. loved the food.. do try these two.

Some friends had veg.. Kaju masala n and paneer kadhai n they said it was above average

We halted here on our way back for a quick lunch. This turned out to be a good decision. Their AC section is perhaps on the first floor, however it wasn't on when we visited. So, we sat on the ground floors seating area which was warm. Their misal pav was just as should be! However, the biryani was more like fried masala rice. Our server was friendly and polite.

Ambience 2
Service 4.5
Food 4
Value for money 4

This restaurant is located on the Mumbai Goa highway around 10 km from Panvel.

We ordered chicken tandoori, masala papad, chicken lapeta, shev-bhaji. Chicken tandoori was over roasted and it was burnt a little. Chicken lapeta was good taste wise. The chicken in both lapeta and tandoori was having more bones than meet. So I'll suggest you to go with boneless option here.
Shev-bhaji was awesome.

It is a nice place to chill with friends after a long drive on the serene Goa highway.

1 of my personal fav for mumbai goa rd. Best part is u can carry u r own drinks which is always economical n u also get g8 Agri cuisine food as well. Owner is very polite n calm. I visited dis place ample number of times since years.rates r also reasonable.

Now comming to food chicken lapeta is their land mark dish must try. A bit oily but it is a dhaba n occasionally its ok. Other item is their desi chicken handi awsum must try. Chicken chilly is also fine for change. But indian food is their strength not Chinese.

ambiance is sumthing which attracts me specially that purpule colour led lights trees on 1st floor creates gud environment. Service is also fast.
Popular Dabba!

Food is tasty with a lot of quality. Non vegetarians must prefer this Dabba. Service is quite fast. Chicken chillie is very tasty but chinese rice is not that good. Prefer typical Dabba food.

Good food but not as good as sai krupa. Chicken koliwada and sukkha are the must try items. A must visit place with friends only but not with family.

Located on Mumbai Goa highway close to Panvel. Almost empty on weekdays. Jam packed on weekends. Service is quick whether is packed or empty. Among starters chicken lapeta is awesome n chicken kadak masala is good. U can never expect the same taste. Usually it's good but sometime it lack's. U can carry ur own liquor, they don't charge for that but for AC section they do. Don't go for Chinese dishes, it's famous for their Marathi cuisine.

This is one of the very popular restaurants or rather you could say dhaaba among Panveliets and even outsiders. Located on the Mumbai Goa road, this place attracts a lot of visitors.

The food is really good for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. They have a good variety of dishes to offer in both genres. The starters are excellent and people loving Maharashtrian preparations will love it.

The food is overall pretty good and you would enjoy having it here. You may have a look at the photographs attached in its zomato profile to get an idea about it.

The only thing that is not good about this place is the seating. There are quite a few other dhaabas on this road and almost all the renowned ones have much better seating arrangements.

The rates are pretty decent and its a good option if only food is your highest priority. If going with family, you might want to look out for other options.

Happy eating :)

Got chance to try this restaurant while returning from family picnic. We entered this place at around 11.30 in night.. Almost 15-18 ppl.. Restaurant was almost full.. Despite that service was quick.. Food was tasty.. And whole thing was very easy on pocket... Great option for good Indian food..
