Review Sagar Restaurant & Bar - Panvel

Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Sagar Kitchen, Banquet and Bar for lunch, and I'd say it's a solid four-star experience from my Indian perspective. The place has a familiar and cozy feel that instantly makes you comfortable. The banquet area added an elegant touch, making it clear that this place is not just about everyday meals but can host special occasions too. However, there's a small hitch. The service was a bit slow during the busy lunch hours, which slightly affected the overall experience.

This restaurant is best restaurant i feel . Because the Ambience and quality of food is just next level .. I have Ordered 1- American Chessy loaded Fried - Was Excellent 2 - LIIT - Drink was not worth to the price the charged and quality & quantity was also not upto the mark 3- chicken lollipop is also must try dish

We had taken out Dal.khichdi at 12 pm night .taste was very good.. quantity also enough for 2 person. I appreciate the restaurant was open late night also.

SAGAR KITCHEN & BAR PANVEL ! This place was near from my MBA college so, since long time I wanted to visit here. Recently I had been here with my buddy for lunch. Restaurant was extremely beautiful from inside & neat and clean. They also provide banquet facilities for celebration and birthday parties with around 150 peoples capacity. Restaurant was specifically designed to have family dinner and chilling with friends. There was full bar section available with branded liqueurs and cocktail/mocktails. I had the following dishes here. DRINKS NAAM THAI (4/5) MULOKAI (5/5) APPETIZERS CHEESY HARA BHARA KABAB (5/5) SOTI BOTI PANEER TIKKA (5/5) SABZ GILAFI SEEKH KEBAB (5/5) MAIN COURSE MALAI KOFTA & CHEESE GARLIC NAAN (4/5) Gravy was too sweet & yummy, so make sure you will love a sweet main course or go for another curries. This gravy was sweet & good to taste. Presentation was superb ! I really appreciate the taste of all those appetizers, it was so delicious and presentation was also good. If you are searching for vegetarians then you must order this. Besides that I like the way they treat their customers. Staff were so polite and they do know about their recipes. They will suggest you the best from menu card. Do visit here to chill with friends & family dinners. My experience was really good here. Thanks !

The foood was good but the place wasn't well maintained they could have changed the cutlery and maintained the ambience, the food served was proper and tasty though, the prices were decent and the staff too was good. Overall it was a nice experience.

Restaurant service and food is very good. Narrow streets and limited parking makes it difficult to find parking. Restaurant offers alcoholic drinks, veg & non-veg options.

Mocktail: Naam Thai & Melon moon:The mocktails were so cooling & refreshing that one should try this for sure with watermelon juice & minty flavour Starter: Soti boti chi tikka:The starter was so tender and juicy at same time ,each bite was heavenly Cheesy tangy tikka:The tikka had cheesy flavour with richness of tandoori flavour in tikka Dessert: Sizzling brownie: My all time favourite dessert brownie with sizzling hot chocolate dripping from it .

it's always a great experience ,also the taste here is really really good, whenever we near or passing by panvel we make sure we have to go to this place for our PETPOOJA 😁 overall great services 👍

Like the right angle light fixtures around the restaurant shined on the experience of the food was enhanced with the charm of the vibe and enthusiastic service. A global mix menu hints of everything and the regular loved dishes as well. The staff was friendly and helpful in figuring out the menu options. The staff was courteous and well informed about the menu along with being around the table Thankyou Mr. Shailesh and Mr. Shyam for attending us so nicely and serving us best dishes available at social. He was really nice , prompt in service. Both were great at servicing throughout our dining experience, loved their efforts. JALJEERA MOJITO Indian version of Version classic mojito.A sweet tangy punch of refreshing taste served in a hurricane glass that reminds one of a roadside orient cafe. MULOKAI The hues of the fresh watermelon, pitch puree, orange juice and crushed ice change the way one looks at this combination. Refreshing and redefining the evening as the pairing with the food brought out warmer tones of the drink.Well mixed and not to be missed. CHICKEN CHILLY GARLIC KEBAB I enjoyed as the aromatic seasoning and bustling huge pieces of Chicken Kebab made this affair almost legal for the taste buds to exclaim another Oh! Long pieces of chicken Kebab which have a bite and sort of melt in the mouth texture. Complimented so well with marinated lachha onion. CRACKLING SPINACH WITH PANEER The presentation was a gift wrapped surprise,The flavours of the Paneer is perfectly done. The crackling spinach in the dish are another bomb of crispness with love of sweetness breaking the heat along with little pieces of paneer adding to the profile of the dish SUBZI PUNCHWAT : Veggies in thick and rich gravy.It was flavourful and wholesome. We paired it up with butter kulcha. It tasted authentic and went well with butter kulcha. Portion was good enough to share. THAI POT RICE : Thai Pot Rice now this was a secret dish in terms of balance , aroma and well layered spices that hit the crunch of veggies along with sweetness of the coconut in a way that it is a worthy accompaniment. "DESSERTS" tend to make everyone happy!!!! CHOCOLATE ROLL WITH VANILLA ICE-CREAM I was sold out on Vanilla ice cream ( my favourite ) and talking about the dark chocolate roll ,honey coated and deep fried without calling an ambulance we ended our meal rolled in Ping's love of serving love through food. The delicately delicious desserts won my heart. When the food is simple you gimplse happiness .We retell our palate of the flirtatious familiarity our taste buds bring because we are nostalgic more about the taste than we are what is served in haste!

Sagar Restaurant & Bar is an old hotel in Panvel. I am visited mostly there with family. The Ambience of the hotel is good but some smell is around after the entering hotel. The Taste of food not so good. I don't like the taste of food there.

Yesterday I visited old Panvel for dinner and I was searching for a good vegetarian and nonvegetarian restaurant suddenly I founded Sagar restaurant . The place is awesome with a fast service facility and good quality of chicken I order that chicken lollipop which is good in the taste of spiciness. If you got a chance to explore Panvel go to this Sagar restaurant it will give you a good experience 😍

Below average quality.staff has no knowledge of menu. Poor taste. Chicken lollipop was not cook properly and very less chicken was there. 3-4 times complain about the food taste but no response from the staff of apology. Won’t suggest any one to come here.

A good place to have a good time with your family members.. very descent hotel with peaceful ambience.. food quality is good and yummy also.. little bit costly as compare to other restaurants but worth to its price

It may sound a bar and restaurant but they have one of the finest BANQUET in Panvel for a crowd of around 100. <br/><br/>The food is amazing. <br/>Must try : Veg menu we had<br/>1. Hara bhara kabaar a must try<br/>2. Soups are delicious <br/>3. Dum aloo is very tasty<br/>4. Paneer quality is just perfect <br/>5. Any item is rice is good to have my fav being veg biryani and veg pulao<br/><br/>Service is good. Staff is very cooperative especially the manager (not disclosing his name).<br/><br/>Parking may be a problem as the banquet is on the main road. But it is not so difficult to find parking nearby.

I wanted to visit a restaurant that is in it's opposite direction but due to too much crowd, we decided to hop in here! This place is much decent inside than it looks! It's a proper place to dine quietly. <br/><br/>I ordered, Murg Pahadi Kebabs for starters. It was marinated in green mix and tasted really good and fresh. <br/><br/>For main course, this place is famous for it's Murg Malwani. So decided to go with the suggestion. It turned out to be pretty tasty like a good home made meal. I had it along with Garlic Naan and Rotis. And thump's up made me pretty sorted.<br/><br/>I for sure visit again. The staff is really quick and friendly.<br/>Thank you. <br/><br/>

A small place with a decent family ambience but below average for quality. Staff has no knowledge of the menu and can often misguide. The food is bland and lacks any flavour.

Had been here for a family dinner here.Started off vit a Hot pin which was more of capsicum and less of chicken. The masala paper was Pretty standard. Nxt cumng on main course v had ordered a Chinese paneer and mushroom sizzler, the mushrooms was cooked to perfection. I was here to celebrate my birthday party, which was a candlelight dinner surprise from my sister. Around 12-15 members where there. The ambience was good but the hospitality wasn't upto the mark. Orders we placed were so late , nothing was in time , taste wise food was good but rest part was annoying. It took us late for dinner.

A nyc place to visit at least once like the Chinese over here Manchurian are must try. Indian cuisine are quit tasty and they also organise parties very well ... Celebrated my son's birthday .... And highly happy with the service.

Good place to enjoy drinks. Food is average nothing new in the menu same as usual. It would be too good to introduce chef special dishes .

The food is good. Authentic taste and is running same like I remember it in my childhood days. Just if the menu is revamped the business could get new boost. The drinks menu is also decent.

I tried Chicken Rajdhani with butter naan here and the taste was awesome. The ambiance at the hotel is wonderful and good if you are looking out to dine with family... but the service is bit slow... It took the waiter 20 minutes to come up with the bill after we were done with the dinner..

Very small on place. Very less space for car parking. The food is average. Very less variety of drinks on offer. The service is very slow. Ambience is bad. They need to maintain hygiene n cleanliness.

A reasonably priced hotel in old panvel city. Good ambience. Okay food. Parking is a huge problem as it is located near the heart of the city area with narrow lanes. A nice place to visit with family or friends.

Nice ambience. Good for a family outing near to home. Food is good though not great. The vegetarian food is by far much better than the Non-Vegetarian food.<br/>Visit on a Monday or Thursday night is recommended as they a Candle Light diner for those two days.

Well it has been 3 continuous days since I have been coming here and the food has never disappointed me. The north indian dishes are awesome. The quantity of the vegetable is superb. One portion serves four people. The pineapple raita is something to die for. There is soft music in the background. Rates are reasonable. All in all a good place to have lunch or dinner at panvel
