The decor is nice. The ambience is pleasant. The buffet menu is decent at best. The starters are way better than the main course. The mutton was kind of sweet which i dislike. The chicken biryani was flavourless. They generally serve the buffet on the table which is kind of disappointing

This is among the fine dine restaurants of Patna. It offers great quality food and experiences. Many Indians dishes can be tasted here. Ambience is superb and lighting is great. Good with Family or Friends. Special arrangements can be made here as per customers demand. If you want to feel Royal you can visit here.

On 1st of January, for New Year Celebration, I had been to Pukhtaan with my family for lunch. I would like to thank the waiter named as Deva who served us very well & for the quick service. We had sichuan lollipop, chicken biryani, mutton dum biryani. The food was good & very tasty. They also gave us complimentary paapads. The ambiance is good for family & friends. Awesome food taste. You will love the foods. Good ambiance. buffet and ala carte available. They use traditional cutlery to serve food. I tried veg Biryani, aalu boonda, dal makhani and in desert you will definitely love mini gulab jamun, firni and many more. Courteous staff with friendly nature. Good place to have good foods in Patna. Vag and non veg options available. Good seating space with wooden floor.

I went there with my family. Each of us have different taste buds but everyone enjoyed their food. The starters are really good. If you are a big foodie, then I will recommend you skip the main course and order 2 starters :) We had chicken seekh kebab and galouti kebab. I absolutely loved Galouti. I can go there just to have them :) In main course we ordered Mutton Rogan Josh. It was kind of ok. Service is nice. Ambiance is good. It is quite spacious. They also have a buffet system.

Great ambiance, fabulous decoration as the name refers( PUKHTAAN). The food is a mix of continental, Asian and Indian cuisine with amazing quality of taste.The flavors were so incredible and the staff werejust wonderful and so caring towards our needs. Also different food festivals with different concepts is going on in the restaurant like( Dal baati Choorma, Papad mangori ka shorba( Rajasthani dishes) & chatni Podi( South Indian) are really amazing to taste. Really welcoming and a wide selection of food to try. Absolutely wonderful place to spend time with family & friends.

They on special request served with cucumbers and chatni and I personally loves eating cucumbers and once I tried eating both together and it is one of a idea of me to eat Momo's, anyway I liked it and still can feel the taste on the tip of my tongue. Lol

Pukhtaan is a restaurant where you can have unlimited food as per your choice of vegetarian or non vegetarian. You can also have food as per your menu but generally people prefer to have unlimited food because of its wide variety. But it's a bit costly so I would suggest you to go if you want to have unlimited non-veg items since they have got wide variety of it.

Few days back visited this place & my experience is awesome. Nice ambince. Suitable for both family and friends. Tried their Non-Veg & Veg buffet. Price is bit high bt flavourful in taste. Do visit guys.

First time tried the delivery from pukhtan.<br/>Taste and food quality was good as usual ..<br/>I ordered mutton dum biryani and galawti kabab.<br/>Yes galwati kabab could have been a little bit less spicier( less chilli) compared to what i actually had at lucknow.<br/>Wat i actually found poor was the packaging - it was not at all good.really need to improve packaging..its better to dine at pukhtan than order<br/>And portion size compared to price is a bit costly..<br/>No complaints with taste.

There is no salt in the butter chicken roll I ordered through Zomato from this place. It was better last time there were chunks of chicken but this time it was minced meat and was not as good as it used to be. Never ordering it again !

Pukhtaan is good for ala e carte but if you want to have buffet then please go to BBQ nation because I had a very bad experience there A/C not working, buffet was not even functional as there business is very sawaan oriented, service was not that great due to untrained staff & the Ambience is very dull which makes the food very uninviting you might just lose your appetite by seeing the way food is served.<br/>

If you love buffet and can eat a lot this a place to must visit. Starters are just awesome even for veggies but main course fails to impress me. Dessert was not so good as there rivals Barbeque Nation.

Visited this place for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and had steamed rice with Murgh Mumtaz, which is a hot and spicy dish, very delightfully made. Due to the spicy nature of the dish we had to order some lemon soda to provide some relief to our taste buds. 😁<br/>Coupled with the nice ambience, the courteous nature of service and the complimentary dessert that we were served with, it was overall a very satisfactory experience.<br/>The pricing is a wee bit on the higher side, but I think it is worth for a fine dining experience.

Undoubtly, the best buffet in the city. Starters were good especially mutton. Fish needs improvement. Ample options for dessert lovers too. Shahi tudka is a must try.<br/>Nice ambience and courteous staff.

I ordered for a paneer and soya roll yesterday from this place. It was horrendous. I am entirely certain that they added paneer leftovers in my roll because it was stinking really bad. Same with the soya roll, it was soggy and the chutney used felt as if it was made decades ago. Totally pathetic and despicable. I think this restaurant did it on purpose.

We are hosting a birthday party as I write this review and the fact that I am getting time to write this review is that I don't have food on my plate.<br/><br/>The starters which are supposedly barbecue, have minimal coal and we can't really barbecue anything on that.<br/><br/>Low number of waiters is adding to the utter chaos and service is pathetic despite the steep price they are charging. Being a host, we had to ask the waiters multiple times to get the stuff that we wanted.<br/><br/>Some more things we are facing over here:<br/>1. Empty bottles are just lying on the table unattended<br/>2. Had to wait for the starters multiple times<br/>3. Guests had to take food from other barbecues as things were unavailable on their own<br/>4. We had to ask multiple times to get drinking water.<br/><br/>Would not recommend this place ever for hosting a kids birthday party or a party in general.<br/><br/>Hope this review helps fellow foodies.<br/><br/>Cheers!

we had great lunch here this week with about a dozen people. nice starters--good choice of menu. we also had veg and non-veg thali. everyone enjoyed. good quality food. good service. nice ambiance overall. it's busier at dinner, so best to reserve. nice restaurant in Patna!

Really disappointed. Waste of money. I would have rather went to barbeque nation at this cost. There was no proper management. Bolna padh rha tha paani ni doge bhaiya, napkins ni hai table pe, welcome drink kb doge, etc etc. Just After 15mins of providing first round of starter they asked aur lenge aap. Aree bhaiya ek hi baar to starter diye ho. Even they took away the unfinished drinks when we left table for Chinese dishes. Neither the Taste was upto the mark nor they they have provided much varieties in buffet. There was total chaos in the restaurant like fish market. Even they provided us seat where the lights were not working. Sweet dishes k naam pe b 3-4 chizein thi baaki sb khtam ho gya tha. I think it was first n last visit to pukhtaan. Hope they take this review seriously and will improve their service.

It was my first visit in Pukhtaan.<br/>The wait was too long for the food, it took almost 50 to 55 mins for starters to come and they take another 50 mins for main course. Taste of the food was also dissatisfactory. Their staff don't even bothered about coustomer satisfaction. I am very much disheartened with their service. Overall I think place is not good enough to spend a happy time with your family and friends.

I m totally amazed by the owner of this chain in Patna. I wanted to arrange some surprise for my parents and they did it amazingly.And the best part was I paid the amount from Chennai and food was served to them without any hassle. We went on a group dinner here and decided to opt for the buffet option. The service is very slow and disappointing. Food is even more disappointing. Not much options in desserts. We went to celebrate my parent's anniversary. Wonderful restaurant, lovely ambience and delicious food. Very cordial staff. We had a great time. Would definitely like to visit again.

It's a buffet heaven at Pukhtaan. The moment you enter you will be experiencing aromas of different dishes. From beverages to street food to main course items and to dessert, they have it all. You name it you get it. ✌

I got the Pukhtan Privilege Membership so decided to visit the restaurants with my family. Ambience was excellent. Food was good. All the barbeque item was tasteful except mutton seek kebabs felt bit dry. Buffet menu was good. Mutton and biryani was the standout dishes. One small advice keep changing your barbeque menu. Great food. Totally recommended.

Very bad quality food and that too served at one of the highest price in patna. They have nothing special and sent me chana daal for their special dal and replaced my soya chaap tikka with bland uncooked paneer tikka. Highly overrated . They need gordon ramsay to give them reality check.

This is a multi-cuisine restaurant on the 5th floor of the Patna 9to9 Super Market.We went there for lunch at about 2:00p.m. and ordered our food.We were 6 in all.We ordered 1 plate of the delicious Galouti kabab.They were a bit spicy but were exceptional except for that.We also took 2 plates of Tangri Kabab.They were a less spicy than the Galoutis.Then came the main course.We ordered 1 plate of Mutton Handi Korma,9 pieces of Butter Naan and 1 steamed Rice.Then was the time for the dessert.We ordered 3 delicious and scrumdiddlyumptious Shahi Tukras and 1 plate of Gulab Jamuns.There was nothing except for praise for the Shahi Tukras.Remarkable,exceptional,wonderful,outstanding and what else.The Gulab Jamuns were so large that it would have filled a person's tummy even if he or she had eaten only the starters!The only problem is that even on insisting they did not decrease the spice of the food.Overall,a remarkable multi-cuisine restaurant and a must visit for all citizens of Patna.<br/><br/>

Everything right from the smell, texture as well as the taste of the dish were brilliant.<br/><br/>Murgh Gilafee - A simple tasting chicken kebab wrapped with herbs. Neither good nor bad. Didn't looked very eye-catching as well. Harshly speaking , I won't try it ever again if I've to pay.<br/>Overall I can say , it's among the best restaurants in Patna.

I've been here yesterday with my brother for dinner and I'm giving 3 stars just because they serve delicious food and yeah for the ambience too. It's too costly and nothing like other buffet restaurants(Less items), they really need some trained staffs/waiters because the existing ones are too unprofessional. They serve food too slow and ignores your call most of the time. One to their staff came and said that they can't serve us anymore because other people are waiting and we need to evacuate the place immediately, we were their from 8 P.M; they started serving from 8:15 it was barely less than 1 hour and then she came, told us to evacuate and when my brother told her that we haven't tried their special nitrogen ice cream yet cause there was no one at the counter to serve, she came with two bowls of semi melted ice cream and said to me that 'Aapko bhi derahe warna aap bhi boliyega ki bhaga rahe hai'. Total waste of money.

When this restraunt was open in patna I thaught it would be same as bbq cz that time no bbq was bit as I went there the staffs were not cooperative and it took too long for them to get the order...

It’s something u call a royal restaurant. That’s the feel here . Complementary they serve Golgappe which is very tasty. It has really got a good flavour of food sply the biryani ♥️. The restaurant has been into providing buffet system too in the the normal days. There are people who avoid eating Garlic onions in the navratras , they offer the same , I.e without garlic n onions . For me overall it’s a nice place to hav a family dinner n birthday parties wid frnz

This was a worst dining experience. We ordered lassi which tasted so bad , the same was served as replacement. There was no crowd at all but still the service was very poor. No plates , tissue papers, etc. Every single thing we have to ask for . On asking about the manager to escalate, he didn't show up. Waste of money, time.

Sharing my horrible experience at Pukhtaan.<br/>Giving 2 star rating only for food.<br/>This place spoiled my party mood.<br/><br/>Food was delicious but nothing feels good if you are not served well.<br/>Soup & starter came to our table after 40 min & that too after giving the reminder to staffs that we have ordered some food.<br/>Again, main course was served after 50 min.<br/>We were 6 ppl and only 2 paratha was served on the table. When I reminded about the more parathas, the staff asked me "Which paratha & how many you have ordered ?" That's an amazing question.<br/><br/>While cleaning the table without even asking staff just took away the half filled glass of soft drink.<br/><br/>Either all the staffs were on a single table or there was not single staff on the table.All the staffs were ordering each other to look after the table & orders. Disappointing.<br/><br/>Now Bill : Ordered for 3 soft drink & bill was prepared for 9 soft drinks " I don't know how come 6 extra soft drinks were added to my bill"<br/><br/>Service quality needs to be Improved.

The starters were decent, loved the golgappas :D The main course was average, quite a few items, including chinese, biryani, non veg and veg dishes, but nothing was impressive enough to write home about. I preferred filling myself, gorging on appetizers and later on some desserts.<br/>Pukhtaan had a good ambience, service atleast back then, was something that could be worked upon slightly. All in all, a good addition to the dining scene in Patna.

Non-veg starters are worth trying here. Please try to avoid veg starters and main course. Staff members need to learn courtesy because, when you are paying ₹900 plus taxes for one buffet, at least you can expect this.

We recently visited Phuktaan for a family dinner and opted for the non veg buffet. The starters are good and we specially like the sesame chicken. The main course spread was decent but average in taste. The mutton dahiwala was outstanding. The desserts were a. It disappointing though. I personally hated the phirni which tasted like just cream. Pukhtaan and barbaque Nation were quite similar.The only difference being in the number of items.If you are a vegetarian pukhtaan isn't the place where you are offered much whereas babeque nation has options even for vegetarians.<br/>The other point where pukhtaan lacks is in the desert whereas Barbaque nation has got a mouth watering desert.<br/>So,if these two things are taken into notice then surely I or everyone else will Choose PUKHTAAN over Barbaque nation or for that matter any restraunt.<br/>Pukhtaan is doing great in feeding foodies like me 😆<br/>Keep up the good work and take notice on the above points so that I don't loose any opportunity to dine at Pukhtaan ❤️

The taste of India revived by Pukhtaan. Sovour food served here. Anyone can go with his/her family or friends. The buffet system is also available here which is awesome.

I visited this place for a Sunday night buffet. The taste was good and most of the items were of decent quality. The biggest issue with them was service. They lack far far behind when it comes to service when compared to BBQ Nation. The selection of sweet dishes was also very less. They didn't have a menu for the buffet and the atmosphere was really dull. I don't see myself visiting this place again anytime soon.

Ordered Butter chicken & Garlic Nan. Poor packing, no onion or pickle with the food. Nan also not properly cooked. Not worth ordering again.

We were total eight, this was our first time at this restaurant. There were so many problems with Pukhtan that I have to mention them pointwise.<br/>1. The soup that was served was not nice.<br/>2. I did not like the kabab.<br/>a. it was uncooked from inside<br/>b. the size of the chicken was quite large.<br/>d. There was less variety.<br/>3. We were told that we canot have ice cream becuz they ran short of nitrogen cylinders. So we could not eat ice-cream (and I love ice-cream, err!)<br/>4. The waiters were not attentive. They would not listen to you if you'd not shout.<br/>5. After completing our starters, we waited for some 5 minutes but no waiter came to clean our table.<br/>6. There was less variety in the dessert.<br/>7. Next was the complimentary drink. We were not given proper information about the drink. The waiter came and asked us to chose between coke or sprit. We thinking that they serve only these two drinks ordered, and only to our surprise did we found that they served iced tea and other drinks too(though that was chargeable, we still would have chosen iced tea over coke.)<br/><br/>Things that I liked.<br/>1. The ambience and environment is quite soothing.<br/>2. Corn wafers or whatever it was, was awesome<br/>3. Phirni was very light and satisfying.<br/><br/>So overall the experience was not so good.<br/>At last I wish to say that, when a person goes to a restaurant, he wish to enjoy it and not just eat anything that is served.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>Update 19-9-18<br/>Today, I visited Pukhtan again with my family and loved the overall experience this time.<br/>The complain that i posted last week was not left unattended. Those people actually made changes rather improvements after my complain. The kababs were altogether yum! Chicken was well-cooked, Biryani was great and phirni was titillating. I particularly loved the mutton rogan josh(#must_try). Waiters were very polite and responsive. It was an evening well spent.<br/>PS.<br/>I visited Pukhtan, again, on the request of Mr. Ashish and I must appreciate him for his commitment towards Pukhtan. It feels great to see that some restaurants give value to customer reviews and are committed to give their customers the best experience. One of them is, of course, Pukhtan.

(^_^)The service and ambience is good. The food is great. But the only thing that I did not like was that they don't provide regular drinking water (okay fine. They said that they only use IT for cooking purpose and to ensure health safety they only give bottled water). Furthermore they charge ₹49 for the 1litre bottled water of cost ₹20 (really!? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). Not only this act is against the law but also they are charging the cost which is approximately 2.5 times the original price. As a consumer we need to be very aware of what we are buying. Think where you are spending your hard earned money. The printed price already includes tax, so in other sense for every extra price someone spends, it ends up going into THEIR pockets.

Overall food is good but not upto the mark . Ambience is very nice . Price is slightly more. Very less items are available for vegetarians as starter

Ambience and food wise this is the best place in Patna. Try the pardha biryani. I don't have words to describe. It was simply awesome. Kebabs like kastori chk was delicious. Defaenately I would say the way the serve the food is different from others.<br/><br/>

One of the good place I found in Patna with great Hospitality and good service. They have great menu, excellent and delicious food with nice presentation. Beautiful place, clean and nice atmosphere. I went to Pukhtaan with my family. Ordered veg kebabs in starter. Dahi kebab, mushroom kurkure, soya Afghani, dudhia kebab were outstanding in taste. Ordered Veg Dum Biryani in main course which come with wheat flour panda on top. This was first of kind I have ever seen. Server informed us that panda is also edible and when we tasted it was owesome. No words to define Biryani and it was outstanding. We enjoyed at our fullest

Superb place to dine out with family. Nice interior and very co operative staff. Biryani and dal Qureshi are out of world. Being foodie I have tasted biryani in each part of country but taste I got here is best. Kebabs are juicy and tasty. Live ice cream is added advantage

When I was in Patna and finding a Royal Dining restaurant. Luckily got a chance to go with my friend and that restaurant is Pukhtaan. Woww! amazing decoration, delicious foods especially my favorite Dum Pukht Biryani and Litti Chokha (Bihar Special). I think Pukhtaan is one of the best restaurant in Patna
