Ambience is not good but quality and quantity of food is really great. Tried few non veg items and all of it were delicious. Plus it was pocket friendly.
Best place in puducherry to have Biryani and grill. Grill chicken was so well grilled and delicious. It is also so pocket friendly. 500 is enough for 3 peoples
Did not want to leave Puducherry without a taste of Chettinadu cuisine and this restaurant did not disappoint us. Chicken pepper fry, Chettinadu chicken and steaming rice, such a nice meal to end our Puducherry experience.
we ordered a grill and a couple of chicken biryanis, they were getting on my friend's nerve with the delay but the reaction on his face when he tasted the biryani was priceless. Now with the taste stuck on his buds he chants the hotel name like a mantra. ambience isn't a deal breaker.
This place is really affordable and they serve both veg and non veg equally tastey.
Had our dinner here and it was the cheapest meal of our day.
For non veg lovers must try here is egg mutton paratha. It is so heavenly tastey. And one plate is sufficient for 2 people to fill their stomach.
Highly recommend.

We are somewhat recurring customers here. So don't be perplexed if this review gets updated once in a while with new experiences and food photographs.
To start with, the firsthand experience we had was with grilled chicken: unfathomable amount, irreplicable taste. So much so that, couldn't stand properly after savouring all of it. Stomach kept protesting, but who were to tell the tongue!
Then we had Chicken Chettinad curry. Amazing spices, a special aroma and the heartwarming colour! Nothing to say more.
Update March 5, 2017: Birthday special Kaadai. Didn't exactly know what it was [For those of you who are unaware of it (not unlike me) ~ it's a small ground-nesting bird known as quail.] until the plate appeared. Effectively decorated with green curry leaves and spicy colours, it immediately announced its delicacy. And after a while we realized how right we were!
Garlic Fish item was ordered too, as main course. And it was also an amazing preparation, with such a unique taste that it lingers even when you've rinsed your mouth properly with water.
A good mutton biryani not that spicy typical chettinad flavor. Staffs are get fast and a good white rasam to complete a chettinad style biriyani
Located opposite Pothy's on Anna Salai. No Car Parking. Had been there twice. Ordered for take away - Grilled Chicken on both the occasions. Best till date, tender and perfectly cooked. Overall a good experience. Def'ly gonna visit them again.

This Small restaurant on a busy street is a perfect place to have food without much thinking about the bill.
They ve got variety of tasty curries and grilled items worth trying.
Service is good too.
This place is located in Anna Salai of Pondi , it’s a busy road to find parking if you are coming in car. They don’t have any dedicated park facilities/valet parking available. Coming to the food, they have good variety and it’s pretty decent for the price. Do try the food here if you get some time.

Had thandooori, biryani, cylon parotta with egg stuff, Kari dosa etc...
All tast are good.
And they closed the hotel around 11.30pm
Had dinner here with my family of 7...the ambience was good... the price is very affordable... mutton Kari dhosa and mutton chetinad gravy was too good .. dhosa... chicken rice ...briyani... tandoori .... everything has good quantity... must try just opposite to pothys

The food quality was good.
The curries had the chettinadu flavour.
Idiappam n paya was a good combination.
Food is a little spicy but otherwise a very filling option for non veg food. Veg food is a little less on options but quantity in servings are decent.
Taste of the food okay. Quantity and quality of the food was really good 😊
This is my routine eat out spot as it is budget friendly and good for taste the only issue I face here is four wheeler parking.
Mutton bone soup is soo good and mutton pieces are tender (sridhar)
