One of the best thali experiences I have ever had in life. The entire experience was very automated and easygoing. On entrance you pay for your food as per person system. It costed us ₹450 including GST per person for the meal. We were given with 2 entry tickets and a bill. You scan your receipt at the entrance and they will lead you to a hassle free food experience. As I entered the quaint Maharashtrian thali restaurant, the aroma of spices and the sound of sizzling pans immediately transported me to the heart of Maharashtra. The ambiance was vibrant, adorned with colorful decor that reflected the rich cultural tapestry of the region. Seated at a comfortable table, I eagerly awaited the culinary adventure that was about to unfold. The menu promised a gastronomic tour of Maharashtra's diverse cuisine, and I couldn't wait to savor each dish. The thali arrived, an artistic display of various bowls and plates, each holding a different delicacy. The journey began with the refreshing taste of Sol Kadhi, dhokla, puran poli with minty chuntney, garlic chutney, salad, pickles and dahi bhalle. Moving on to the main course, they provided us with ghee roti, poori, gatte ki sabji, paneer capsicum curry, green pea curry and dal. In the later courses of meal, the aromatic Basmati rice and dal khichdi was accompanied by a myriad of spiced and crunchy papad. My favourites were dhokla and Puran Poli, a sweet flatbread stuffed with a rich mixture of jaggery and lentils, added a delightful sweetness to the meal. The Bhakri, a dense millet flatbread, paired perfectly with Thecha, a fiery chutney made from green chilies and garlic, creating a symphony of flavors in my mouth. Each bite was a harmonious blend of spices, leaving me yearning for more. To conclude this culinary voyage, the dessert section offered the iconic Rabdi kheer and a ladoo. The combination of these sweet treats brought a perfect end to the feast, leaving me with a sense of satisfaction and contentment. As I bid farewell to the Maharashtrian thali restaurant, I couldn't help but appreciate the diverse and flavorful culinary heritage of Maharashtra. The experience had been more than a meal—it was a celebration of culture, tradition, and the exquisite flavors that make Maharashtrian cuisine truly unforgettable.

My to go place if I'm craving vegetarian food, top notch service within seconds of entering the restaurant you are served your meal . You can check the menu on the digital screen displayed outside. Just priced around 500 rs (6$) its not bad for the variety and excellent service and hospitality provided. You just have to pay to the men in black at the entrance Highly recommend the basundi(sweet) which is a perfect way to finish your thali on a high.

Most Delicious Thali in Pune. I have tried many Thalis but this is what I always want. Great taste good service. Crowdy atmosphere but the reason is obvious.

Sukanta Thali in Pune offers a delightful culinary journey into the heart of Bengali cuisine. The restaurant's specialty is its thali, which provides a generous spread of authentic Bengali dishes that are rich in flavor and diversity. From delectable fish curries to mouthwatering sweets like rasgulla and sandesh, Sukanta Thali captures the essence of Bengali gastronomy. The ambiance is modest yet inviting, allowing diners to focus on the real star of the show – the food. The staff is warm and attentive, making you feel right at home. However, for those unfamiliar with Bengali cuisine, some dishes might seem an acquired taste. But if you're a fan of Eastern Indian flavors, Sukanta Thali is a must-visit. It's a place where you can savor the essence of Bengal, one flavorful dish at a time.

The thali was delicious. I enjoyed most of the items they served. However, this place tends to be overcrowded, and there's quite a bit of waiting, especially if you arrive after 1PM.

The food tastes awesome. The overall combination is great. The overall taste would be less spicy, but it can be managed with contents like chutney and daal. The best thing is the staff is always up on the toes and the plate won't be left empty at all.

The hype is real, Authentic food, Ambience is good, service is sharp. So many varieties of food on the table, just looking at it you'll feel like your stomach is full. Food quality is superb, centrally located, and has valet parking. Everyday menu changes. A little bit overpriced. Overall a very good place to give a treat.

I can definitely say that one of the best veg thali restaurant in city. Serving variety of dishes and all of them taste delicious. The staff is good and respectful. While sometimes you need to wait. The only problem with this place is there is no proper facility of parking provided by restaurant.

I bought the take away delivery today. The food tastes good. There were 5 sweets in the parcel, but the Basundi that was packed was having some smell and burnt flavour. Their chef's should taste the dishes after preparation and should not serve such items to customers if they're not well prepared.

Visited this place after a decade. The food is still taste same. Kudos to the management. The restaurant ambiance is the same. They need to renovate it as soon as they can.

Typical thali of Pune. You need to pay at entry and then get inside. Though a turnstile, wonder why. Good is good, service is fast. Staff is helpful n cheerful. Typical menu but tasty. Congested seating but once on your table it won't affect at all. Parking is a problem as it's on a small road , can get jammed and lot of honking an turning. So better take an auto to this place
