One of the iconic cafe, I think they are in operation since 100 years or may be more.. Price , food , taste and quantity is extremely value of money. They are soo generous is butter that it will make you wonder, how are they doing it..

Classic beauty of pune serving since 1978. Now managed by their 3rd generation. The beauty and typical Persian and Iranian asthetics are plus one. It's very simple and of course crowded place as all punekars loves this place so much and still they manage to serve every single table in less time. This is the only irani cafe which tries to maintain hygiene at it's best. Must have Irani chai and bun maska, with bhurji and omelette of your own choice. You can also spot the luna used by person who started this cafe. The vehicle is proudly standit just at the doors.

I had visited this place for breakfast on Saturday and the following is my unbiased and honest review : Location : Easily available on Google Maps Place : Its located on the ground and 1st floor with decent amount of dining space. Ambience : It gives you a rustic feel of a proper iranian cafe Staff : Quick and efficient service by the staff and they were polite too Food & Drinks : Good place for breakfast and morning chai/coffee Music : There were songs being played on the Radio Value For Money : Definately Yes ! If you want to experience breakfast at an Iranian cafe, this is the place in Pune. BitterSweet : There should have been 2 seperate washrooms for Male and Female.

A nice joint to have the popular bun maska and tea. They also have good options in egg. The bhurji was amazing and omelette was also good.

Genuine review. First time going to any vintage cafe to be honest. I really saw some good reviews which made me want try this place out. I ordered off the menu item :) You’ll thank me for it I guess. I ordered two egg cheese omelette toast. I kid you not I literally burnt my tongue due to not resisting how delicious it looked. The first bite was bliss. A burst of flavours in my mouth. Absolutely loved it and the flavours I tasted in that cheese omelette was just perfect. The perfect amount of cheese and perfect spices. Bread was toasted the right amount. I ordered this because I wanted to have omelette but also wanted cheese toast so thought might as well just combine one and two. Man did that turn out perfect! On to the unexpected part, I reckoned that the bun maska jam(as per reviews) would be nice so I did order but in all honesty I didn’t like it. The Maska and jam was tasty but the bun was just not soft enough maybe it was not a fresh batch I’m not sure. I like the bun being soft and little sweet just like how you get it in Bangalore(native place). I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be on the harder side(maybe as many dip in tea and eat)whether that’s what special or something. So yeah I’ll probably give it a try again when I go back cause I definitely will go back. I ordered normal tea and that was really good in my opinion. It was the perfect balance between the sweetness in chai and the masala. As in most places the chai either is tad bit too sweet or tad bit too much masala(this I don’t mind). I think the server said it was Irani tea. I definitely enjoyed it just disregarding the bun part. Thank me later if you like my order.
