What an amazing place to taste the best local food in pune.
There was a long line in which we had to wait but the service is so good that we were not made to wait for long.
Once we were seated it was just so much amazing food coming our way.

Durvankur thali is a definite example of simple and sadgi khana.
Being to Pune how could I miss out on trying out the authentic Maharashtrian thali?
I enjoyed every but of the dish that was served to me on my plate.
Hot chapati, thalipeeth, bajra roti served with bhindi sabzi, rajma sabzi and aloo sabzi. It also had kadi and dal.
Oh and the special mention is to their yummy surli vadi/khandvi.
It's a must try if you are somewhere in and around Pune and want to eat authentic Maharashtrian thali then this is the place.

@durvankur_dining hall.. Best Thali.. Durvankur is famous for Maharashtrian Thali.🍜🍛🍲🥗 I had an amazing experience here. In Marathi we call "Aatma trupta zala" this was my experience here.. staff is very cooperative and highly active. Quickly you get 2nd, 3rd , 4th serve.. Taste of food is authentic Maharashtrian. If you are in Pune and looking forward for having Thali i.e complete meal then you must visit here. This Thali is unlimited. You get discount if you fully finish your Thali..👍☺️ This Thali included - Chapati, Papad, dahi bhalla, Alu Vadi, kadhi, rajma, baingan bharta, 3 types of chutney - coconut, garlic, peanuts,. Cucumber salad, last but not least the sweet i.e fruit salad and my favourite gulab jamun. 🥫🥘🍫🍬🍭 #durvankurthali #durvankurdininghall #thali #indianthali #indianfood #bestthaliever #mepunekar #sanglikar #sanglikarinpune

Mastach!!! I went here to relish and enjoy my friend's Birthday Treat and it was so very fulfilling. I love their service, their cleanness. The food was delicious and masalas were well balanced. I wish I could stuff myself more with the yummy food, but I had to stop. Talking about the hyped Aamras: I am neither a mango nor a sweet lover, hence I tasted just one spoon of it and I was done! All the other items are up to the mark. I will positively recommend this place to the people who want to enjoy and taste Marathi Food!!!

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the Durvankar Thali, an exquisite culinary journey that transported my taste buds across the diverse and flavorful landscape of Indian cuisine. This traditional Indian thali experience at Durvankar left me both satisfied and impressed. Presentation: The Durvankar Thali is a visual delight. Served on a gleaming stainless steel platter, it features an array of small dishes, each showcasing a different aspect of Indian cooking. The presentation is vibrant, with an assortment of colors, textures, and aromas that instantly stimulate the appetite. Variety: One of the highlights of the Durvankar Thali is its variety. You'll find staples like rice, roti (flatbread), daal (lentils), vegetables, curries, pickles, and a delightful selection of desserts. Portion Size: The portion sizes in the Durvankar Thali are generous, making it a fantastic option for those with hearty appetites. However, it might be a bit overwhelming for those looking for a lighter meal. Service: The service at Durvankar is not that attentive, and the staff is a bit sluggish. Price: Considering the variety and quality of dishes included in the Durvankar Thali, the price is reasonable. It's an excellent way to explore a wide range of Indian flavors without breaking the bank. Conclusion: Whether you're a seasoned fan of Indian food or new to its flavors, this thali provides a satisfying and authentic introduction to the rich tapestry of Maharashtrian gastronomy. While the portion size may be a bit much for some, it's a perfect choice for those looking to embark on a flavorful journey of culinary heritage. My visit to Durvankar was a gastronomic adventure that left me with a deeper appreciation for the diversity and complexity of Indian cuisine.

To fulfill my desire to savor authentic Puneri cuisine, my friends too me to Durvankur and was certainly happy with the choice. Parking was quite easy despite the crowded location with basement parking. The Hall was large and equipped to handle the wave of patrons lining up to take the thali token and systematically attack the large thali with small bowls (katori) to ensure that ea H dish is given its due attention. The waiters are quite swift in sensing which dishes are missing on the plate ready to replete them promptly. I tested their patience by repeatedly asking for refills of the sweet dish and they obliges without a sigh or a flinch. Overall a satisfying experience, will certainly visit again.

Veg Thali of Durvankur is simply awesome and Loved the food of Verity, Not too hot or spicy. Aamras, shrikhand, and dahi vada were excellent. Chapathi and bhakhari the great side dishes , good ambience, cleanliness, also miss the saunf variety. A little bit of waiting time because it was full of people. Parking issue because it is located in the old city. It is a very nice place to recommend once.

Food is good, can have it again..But they should serve Aamras without any adulteration, you can taste artificial flavours in it.. as you are charging 400/- per thali you must serve authentic Aamras.

Durvankur Dining Hall is one of the must visit great places in Pune if you are looking for a delicious vegetarian meal. The highlight of their menu is undoubtedly their Amras thali, which is a must-try for anyone visiting the restaurant. The thali is packed with a variety of tasty vegetarian items, and the Amras, is a standout.. One thing that stood out during my visit was the fast service. The staff was prompt in taking our order, and the food arrived at our table in no time. However, despite the fast service, the long waiting time was a bit of a disappointment. The restaurant tends to get quite busy, and as a result, it can take a while to get a table, especially during peak hours.. Another issue with Durvankur Dining Hall is parking. It can be challenging to find a spot to park your vehicle, especially during busy times. You may have to circle around the area a few times before finding a suitable spot.

Tasty thali Price has gone up to 380 for 1 thali. Feels like it's not worth so much anymore. Dahi wada is still amazing. So is the masala bhat. One of the tastiest masala bhat in pune
