Visit when you are really looking for rich and satisfactory Rajasthani food in Pune. The ghee clad khichdi is very tasty. The food is beautiful to the eyes and yummy to the stomach. Worth the money. This is by far the best thali in Pune.
Awesome and savoury food, nice family ambience, overall a great experience! Although the prices are a bit on the higher side compared to some other thali joints.
This Casual dining place in The Pavilion Mall serves North Indian, Rajasthani and Gujarati cuisines. The ambience of the place itself gives a very royal feel and the staff are very courteous too.
I had been to this place a few days back and sharing my experience here.
So I tried their premium veg thali which offers 18 items. In farsan they provide Paneer hara bhara tikki and Veg Handwa which were very tasty. They offer steam rice as well as khichdi. The khichdi gave a very warm feel as soon as I had it. Three types of rotis are given, makai roti, fulka and cabbage akhi roti. Along with that two types of dal and kadhi are served; Gujarati Dal, Gujarati Kadhi, Rajasthani Dal and Rajasthani Kadhi. In vegetables they offer paneer labadar, sarson sabji, aaloo sukha bhaji and moving muthiya which goes really well with the breads and rice. One special dish they have to offer in this thali is Sindhi Dal Pakwan Tadka which was very yummy.
I would say this thali is a wholesome plate of goodness as it also offers two desserts, Sitafal Kheer and Gund Pak Halwa which is the perfect end to any meal.
So I would say that if you want to experience awesome Gujarati and Rajasthani cuisines you should surely pay visit to this place.
Great place to go for family meals when you’re in the mood to have some indian food. The staff here is very courteous and will make sure you are full.
Right from the welcome drink till the paan everything was just perfect! It was a scrumptious treat!
The food was yumm, very tasty.
Service A class, all the staff members are well trained they do their job very nicely .
You will have enough food and time to eat each andar every item on the plate, they will also tell you the dish name as they serve.
Plate and spoon was neat and clean.
The restaurant manager comes and asks you about the food and everything.
Overall it was a great experience . 5 star for sure
Very good place to go for Rajasthani thali. Authentic preparation, with about 15 items overall. Everyday the menu changes. Daal baati is only on Wednesdays. Inside and semi outside seating. Thali is made of german silver, looks like brass. Staff is cordial and soft spoken. It has branches in USA, Canada, UAE, other then India.
One of the best rahasthani thalis i have tried.
The taste of each and every item i have tried here in my multiple visits is good. starting from dahi vada to their sabzi to khichdi to desserts, everything tastes so good.
Ambiance - top notch. 5/5
Service - nothing to complain. 5/5
they force you to eat until you give up. their moong dal ka halwa, khichdi and davi vada are my favourite.
We visited this restaurant in April (2023) end. Our visit was along with our kids. Ambiance is too good. Service is also good. You get your hands washed on your table itself. Service people come ask if we need anything on regular intervals. We went in April month, so enjoyed unlimited “ Aamras” (made with fresh mangoes). I have attached video of the things which were served in thali. You also get welcome drink. The cost is ok.
Overall it was great experience with “Maharaja Bhog”.
Lovely place for thali lovers. Although I am not at all a fan of the thali system , I really liked the dishes here. Their saffron honey sharbat is absolutely amazing ! Also I would like to highlight that they have a Jain thali also and you can see in the photos that they place a green leaf in front of the thali to recognise it. Thus the workers serve only jain dishes there. It's very well coordinated and the staff is amazing. So much of hospitality in them. Overall a really beautiful place to try out thali.
The taste and flavours of authentic gujarati + Rajasthani dishes are served here. Loved their way of presenting the overall experience of this place starting from the menu, going up with the dining plate and serving style. Must visit with your family to make them try out this platter with the authentic way of presentation.
Would be looking for a chance to visit again 😉
I normally don't like Veg thali restaurants, but this one was a great surprise. We had Aamras that day. 😍 And everything else was just fun. Bhindi was so great that we ended up eating 7-8 times.
You need to wait in the line for some time to get a place. But everything else is just smooth. You eat, eat and eat, pay and get out!
We will visit again the next time I'm in India. 🥰
Maharaja Bhog is a heaven for people who love authentic Indian cuisine. We were overwhelmed with the warm hospitality and peaceful dining experience. The food is top-notch with more than 25+ varieties. I highly recommend you to visit this place to have a traditional Indian meal.
Also, thanks to the Founder and Managing Director Ashish Maheshwari Sir for inviting us.
Visited Maharaja Bhog, restaurant at the Pavilion Mall and was treated to a premium thali consisting of varied kinds of vegetables, rotis and sweet dishes, all combining to make an unforgettable eating experience. Pure vegetarian Rajasthani food that won our hearts. The restaurant scored full marks for ambience, food and service. High priority was given to service which we have not seen anywhere else. A different menu served everyday of the month is an achievement in itself. Kudos to the management and service staff.
Thank you, Founder and Managing Director Ashish Maheshwari sir, for inviting!
One of the most premium places in Pune serving unlimited veg Thali. Moreover, they serve it in Bronze Thali.
The ambience gives you Royal feel and its very spacious with comfortable seats.
Their menu is different everyday with every item being unlimited.
We got to try their unlimited thali with Aamras in it which is most favourite thing for us Punekars in the summers.
The service is very quick here. Loved the way staff coordinated.
