2nd time in a few days span I happen to stop by at an outlet of Chitale bandhu. I packed some special poha chivda for the house and a few friends.
I loved the taste of it. Sweet, salty and spicy at the same time.
Dry nuts and dried coconut made it taste really good.
A half kg pack is for 160/- which is totally worth buying.
Same taste over years. The consistency is good. Though the packaging has improved over years but the consistent taste has made it the popular taste of pune
Speechless. Does this place really need a review. It's good that they are now open from 1-4 pm also. This place serves one of the best snacks in Pune.

Does this place needs a description? Most famous place for their Bakarwadis, this place also has some delicious range of sweets and stuff. Their Bakarwadi has no competition, and it’s the tastiest Bakarwadi one will taste!
Pune’s favorite sweet shop ....bakarvadi...amba vadi....shrikhanda....matar karanji......dhokala are must try ... variety of modak are all time must try .....yes they do have their own rules ...but taste is best
As it is very famous bu its name.. tried it for the first time ... good service and you can find great chaat and daily use indian snacks... trued matar samos which was delicious and would like to recommend to try this dish.... all the snacks are very fresh... overall good experience...

I regularly go here to buy items.Located at very central place in Kothrud.Nice variety is also available.
Visited the store and got all the variety offered by Renowned brand Chitale Bandhu. They provide coupons/tags at entry which needs to be updated as you pick the items and to be paid at the booking counter depending on items added. There are two billing counters. Cloth Carry bags are provided on chargeable basis.
Pride of Pune. Only sweet shops chain in Pune city. Hygienic, Pure, lots of options from sweet to namkeen at resonable price. Highly recommended, if your hardcore पुणेकर.

This outlet is a must on this stretch of the road. There are no good Sweet Shops on this side of the road. This shop sales sweets, namkeen and new chitale products too. The staff is very helpful. You are allocated 1 smart card each for billing purposes as their other outlets. Display of products is vivid. All in all a good experience.
Perfect location and space for parking. You can get most of the delicacies of Chitale Bandhu here including mini samosa, aluvadi etc.
They sell many other variety of eatables like chana, cashew, almonds, kesar, candys etc.
The cashews they sell (repacked don't know from where they bring them) are really awesome.
