Good food both quality and quantity wise. Khushka rice could be improved on flavour. Rest all was good. Value for money. Restaurant offers could attract more orders.
Ordered chicken tadka thali which is very much good in quality and quantity. Alani rassa was mouth watering much liked by my daughter. Pandhara rassa was also delicious.

Assal kolhapuri taste with medium spicy food.matka biryani is great.. but some Reasoms matka biryani is not available on zomato. One of the best rest in pune
A place to have authentic marathi non vegetarian food and obviously it's lip smacking. You'll also get vegetarian options but it's worth to have non veg if you're here....
Good food....like real kolhapuri food and try mutton dhangari dish..nad khulaa... bhavaaa......

One of the best non veg thalis. Coming down from Mumbai , headed straight to this place . Small tiny joint.
What did we order :
Chicken thali , veg thali , mutton thaali, special mutton masala thali . Don’t miss the mutton zanka plate . Extremely spicy.
Place gets crowded so go in early as the service is very slow. Solkhadi is very good too. Great place for authentic Kolhapuri food.
4* only and only for the food. Visiting from Mumbai, Purepur was one of the few must eat at restaurants suggested to us. The look of the place could have sent us back, but we persisted and glad we did so.
Authentic Maharashtrian thalis.. mostly popular with non vegetarians.. but basic veg options available too. Overall niether the place, nor the menu is very inviting. But their mutton/ chicken thaalis were quite beyond expectations. Small place, but they did their best to serve us (group of 13) VFM, absolutely...almost everything on the menu was reasonably priced, and excellent in flavours and taste.
To taste the authentic taste of chicken and mutton this is my preferred hotel. You can try al most all the dishes and you wont find the same taste in every dish. Prices are little higher side but they balance the taste. They have around 12 table which is slightly conjusted but who cares when you get such deliscious non veg. Must try hotel for non veg lovers.
Relatively small place to eat but talking about taste, it's different from the typical restaurant taste. We ordered veg and mutton thali and taste was like homemade food. If you are hoping for lot of variety in taste and food this place is not for you.Overall this place is good place to come with friends.

After tiring match of cricket on nearby ground, we a group of 10 went here expecting spicy and hot Kolhapuri food, and it didn't disappoint us.
Though seating arrangement and ambiance may not be the eye catching or pleasing, it's regular. Something where food is good it doesn't matter.
My friends got themselves Gavran Chicken Thali, where as I got Anda Masala Thali.
Heart of the plate, the Anda Masala was superb, it was spicy and tasted like saoji dish, just loved it. Friends loved chicken thalis too. So it was overall a good experience.
Assal Kolhapuri....one of my favourite food joints in Pune. I never miss eating here whenever possible. Although i would have liked the seating arrangement and ambiance a bit better, i will still hog on this food irrespective of the location...Huge fan and highly recommend to anyone who likes pandhara rassa and tambada rassa
Taste , quality of chapati is awesome. But the quantity of chicken pieces is not sufficient. But sometimes its okk because taste and quality is very good.
Famous for chicken thali specially, nice ambience with outside as well as inside seating arrangements. It's also good for birthday celebration and family dinner. Recommended !!
Like the Place.. Though ambient was not so cool food was good and hot . Behavior is excellent..May be they can improve the hygiene to make it best.
Liked the overall taste and ambiance, but the prices are too high. A word of caution for puneits, food is really spicy.
