This place is our mecca since college days! Be it their large lassi to their authentic punjabi food. It has our heart! Lovely place! Feels home both food and ambience. Forever favourite in Viman Nagar! We keep coming here! Butter chicken is worth a mention! Must try! No miss!
I ordered aloo paratha & aloo kulcha with Curd & Chutney but instead got the achar & raita
Punjabi dhaaba a pretty small place located in viman Nagar, the place serves authentic punjabi cuisine with proper ingredients and recipe, went here for a sunday lunch with my friends and the decision of having a sunday lunch at this place turned out to be beyond amazing, the food and quantity of food served here really surprised us and made us so happy that we can't stop smiling after having each and every bite of the food.
Coming on to the foods which we ordered:
1)Butter chicken:The best butter chicken i had till now, it had zero sweetness with creamy texture and a slight tangy flavour of tomato, it was rich and flavourful and the half portion quantity is enough for 4 people. The chicken pieces were boneless and nicely cooked in tandoor and was topped with a damm spoon of butter which kept the moisture and richness.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED,
2)Sarso da saar makke di roti:The sarso da saar was balanced with spinach flavour and was flavourful and mild with smooth texture, the makke di roti was crisp and drenched in ghee, and it was served with jaggery, a superb combo to eat.
3)Patiala lassi:The lassi was rich, creamy, thick and had a balanced sweetness and was topped with dry fruits, the crunch of dry fruits and the smooth and creamy taste of lassi came out of the world on palate, the glass was huge and we really struggled to finish the entire glass of lassi.
Will again say that this butter chicken is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Punjabi Dhaba is one of the most pocket friendly restaurants in Viman Nagar. The food, the lassi everything is so finger licking good. It's a perfect place for people who love desi food. The quantity and the quality both are perfect. Though it's crowded at peak hours but the food is worth the wait. ♥️
Recommend : Sarsoon Ka Saag and Makke de Roti Thali , Butter Chicken , Lassi , Rajma Chawal
Best place to have authentic Makke ( Corn flour ) Roti and Sarsoon da Saag . Serves authentic Punjabi dishes , delicious in taste and generous in portion. Try out their Lassi also.
Unexpectedly wounded up at this point around 10pm at night when it's hard to even find decent food options. The place seems to be frequented by students and people who stay away from home but don't want to miss ghar ka khaana. Since It was a Punjabi place, I ordered my favourite rajma chawal with boondi raita and I was surprised by the quantity, quality and pricing. A mere 140 rupee meal was enough to satisfy my hunger and taste buds. Service was very prompt, quick and cordial. Would love to keep coming for more of that home cooked punjabi flavour.
We just wanted a quick lunch as it was already late in the afternoon. Ordered paneer tikka masala with a few rotis and naan. The gravy tasted great. Also went for a veg raita which was really refreshing. The staff aren't very friendly. Or else do give it a visit for some great Punjabi food :)

I visited this place yesterday and was absolutely confused what to order and equally hungry.. owner was so polite and friendly that he immidiately pitched in and with a smiling tone suggested keema kulcha and kheer.. I was so mesmerized with the food as well as the behavior... I was the last customer of the day but the owner himself was so energetic and had a pleasant smile throughout.. would recommend this place if you are looking for quality time and value for money... Personal recommendation try kheer it's awesome and will give you a trance of homely taste as the ingredients will literally blast in your mouth with full swing...
Great job guys..
The Punjabi kulcha with chole and the real glass of lassi topped with dry fruits takes you back to authentic taste of Amritsar. The place to be for all foodies with friends.
Not a grand place to look at but the food is yummy.
It's a small place benched between two shops.
Had chicken rice plate and butter chicken with mirchi paratha and lota chaach.
The food was delicious and filling, quantity also is good.
Service was also good. If you are not bothered about ambience this place is a place you must visit.
