*THE MERRY QUOTIENT* - The good quality food and warm people.
By now you must be aware I am a sucker for thalis ! Which makes me explore different places old and new in the city.
Siddhivinayak is a fairly old place in the core city. I visited on a festival, so I had a chance to taste the 'Upwaas' menu too !
The food is no doubt tasty. There's variety, there's flavour, and it's fresh of course. The few thali places that has GOOD CHAPATIS. There's also an option of plain rice and MASALE BHAAT. Sweets are at an added cost. The helpers serving food are warm and inviting. The ambience of the place is so-so and a very simple one. There's only indoor seating. At peak hours, there maybe a small waiting que.
The place is fair on the pocket and worth it for the good quality food.
@siddhivinayakdininghall
One of the most hygienic and pocket friendly meals I have ever had!
The place is well located on Tilak Road in Sadashiv peth and offers a delicious, hygienic and yet pocket friendly meal. The cuisine is Maharashtrian, wherein a Brinjal preparation (वांग्याची भाजी/ बैंगन की सब्जी), chapati, 'varan bhat' and Khichdi/ masala Bhat is served as the main course. No any sweet as such is served with the thali, however the delicious dahi wada is so soothing that it won't make you feel the absence of a desert. Additionally, Paneer bhaji, fried papad and a कोशिंबीर(salad raita) is like a cherry on the cake.
The most important thing is you get all of this UNLIMITED at a price of ₹150; Absolutely worth it!
The staff is courteous and the service is quick. The only drawbacks that can be mentioned are, the non-availability of toilet (at least I didn't find one) and parking, especially for a four wheeler.
Summing up, a very good place and worth a visit.
Good pure veg restaurant. You will get authentic maharastrian veg food. The full meal is the only one option. The taste of the food is very good. The service is also very fast. The overall restaurant is very clean. The best time to visit this restaurant is on sankashti chaturthi. On this occasion this restaurant provide too good food with multiple sweets dishes. The unique item is modak.sweet dishes are really cool at place
This thali is good enough with sweet and spicy taste combination of maharashtrian and gujarati. .. I loved the masale bath (rice) served here ....
You can see long waiting outside the restaurant ...very cheap and good food compared to others
Good quality mahrashtrian thali and complete value for money. Restaurant also accepts card payment. Good taste and quick service. Howerver they are not serving papad and bhaji (pakoda) as they use to serve on a daily basis. Definitely a must try to enjoy delicious and sumptous meal.
I recently dined at 'Siddhivinayak Dining Hall' and ordered the big veg plate. The dish was undeniably delicious with a lovely blend of flavors. The vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection. What truly stood out, however, was the sweet undertone in the dishes. While the sweetness was enjoyable, I would appreciate a bit more spiciness to create a better balance of flavors. I believe that a touch of heat could elevate the overall experience and provide more contrast to the sweetness. It's just a suggestion, as I understand that taste preferences vary.Overall, it was a delightful meal, and I'll definitely be returning. If you're a fan of sweet dishes, you'll love it here, and I encourage them to consider adding some spicier options to cater to different palates!" 🌶️🍽️😊
⭕If you are looking for Veg Maharashtrian Thali then this place is for you.
🔹I think this is very underrated place on social media but this is better than other famous veg thali restaurant in Pune
🔹They serve authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. Famous for unlimited dahi wada and papad (both are very tasty)
🔹You have to pay 220₹ for one thali
On Sunday and chaturthi price of thali ३००+₹ in which (they serve unlimited Kanda bhaji which is very good in taste and rasmalai😋)
🔹If you are looking for with family satvik meal this is place go for it🤝🏿🙂
I have experienced that whenever restaurants offers too much menu - taste is compromised . But Siddhivinayak is the exception. They have limited menu but every food item has its unique taste . Instead of eating 15 menu options with basic taste it is 101% better to eat 8 food items with best taste.
The best item according to me is Aloo Chi Bhaji and Dahi Wada . You will not find such kind of best food anywhere in pune . So basically the menu is fixed for Monday to Saturday - menu is Alu chi Bhaji , Potato , Dal , Dahi Wada , Mutter Paneer , Salad / Raita, papad, rice or masala rice . Sweet options are also available with extra price i.e rs.50 . Current price of thali is Rs.200 . And on Sunday price is Rs.300.
If you are maharashtrian then you will be a super fan of this place . Must Visit . I will recommend it as one of the best maharashtrian thali in pune.
Best option for vegetarian. Here is a thali system lunch. In this Thali batatyachi bhaji, waran, Aluchi bhaji, chapati , Dahi wada,Fried papad. In sweet item there is three option Basundi/amrakhand/Gulab Jamun only one item you can choose.and in rice two options plane rice/masala rice.Best quality.
One of the best places to eat authentic Maharashtrian food.
Pocket-friendly and delicious thali.
Service is quick and the place is hygienic & well-maintained.
Best maharashtrian food thali in budget... Mouth watering Dahi vada specially
An elaborate Maharashtrian authentic thali at a very reasonable price. We went here for dinner last week. The service was quick and the thali was unlimited. We had dahi vada, koshimbir, chapati, papad, dal, mutter paneer, alu chi patal bhaji, batata chi bhaji and masale bhaat and all the items were delicious! Dahi wada was the best and I couldn't stop eating it until I had a sugar rush :P
If you're looking for a budget restaurant with authentic maharashtrian taste this is definitely the place to go.
This is one of the best dining hall to have authentic maharashtrian veg food in Pune situated at the heart of the city . Ample of sitting space is available there as now it is having 2 floors .
The food is very tasty . Staff is serves the food very well and they are polite.
The rate is cheapest amongst all other dining halls and worth it.
Must visit . Highly recommended.
Steal place if you're up for a good scrumptious unlimited meal @250₹ includes Sunday specials.
If you don't have a taste for simple non oily non spicy home made feel food then this place is not for you.
It is a well maintained and served dining hall with good mannered waiters who answer your call with obedience and friendliness.
This is an awesome place for Maharashtraian Thali. I had visited once and after that I visited many times with different people and everyone liked it lot. I love specially the Dahivada they have. It's amazing.
