Best misal according to me. Best tarri/rassa, which is made by using lots of coconut gravy, acute spices and served with or without extra tarri.
The misal is assembled in a plate and the rassa, is separately given in a bowl. Served along with sliced bread, onions and lime wedge, the misal here tastes simply great.
My favourite place with lot of my childhood memories attached to it.
The misal served here is quite different from the usual ones. The potato rassa is served on top of pohe, potato sabji, shev and onions with bread slices on the side. This is slightly on the sweeter side. To balance it you can order for the spicy tarri/sample which perfectly balanced the flavours. Undoubtedly this is one of the best misal that I have ever had.
I had a visit to this place after reading reviews and seeing it's name in top 10 misal joints. Taste and quantity is awesome. Misal without sprouts/matki is little difficult to agree on. Thus 4 star for this review else taste and quality is great. Extra tarri/sample rate seems little high and also initial serving of tarri/sample is definately not enough for misal. Overall well maintained and one of the place which is worth visit.
Their is not that spicy compared to others but they had their own unique taste and awesomeness......and i really loved it, taste is juss fabulous and their buttermilk was also delicious.....would really love to go here again!!

Visited this place last month in the afternoon. The taste of the misal was very good. Luckily there was no waiting when we had gone there. This place was very clean in terms of kitchen and dry area, well maintained. Staff was polite and was good at his job. Would definitely recommend this place.
Authentic Pune misal. Congested seating and located on busiest area. But taste is great. Not very spicy or so, just tasty. They also have Gol Bhaji, Shira etc. fast service. Accept cash and UPI.

This is located at the south side of Tulsibaug at the road corner. So delicious taste, clean environment. Table and self service here. First you have to pay for the first time then if you need more then you can pick it from the window and all bills can be paid finally. Misal, Bhajee, Chivda facility provided on the first floor. Also, a parcel facility is available but you should keep your tiffin for tarri liquid.
Nice place to go with family, kids, friends etc. Rates are very reasonable.
Shri Krishna Bhuvan is one of the oldest and most well known misal joints in Pune. It serves 'Puneri' misal with a sweetish coconut based rassa and bread slices. The misal has a minimalist approach, using a potato and poha base with Sev and onion. If you are a Misal fan who likes to try out different flavours, then this is a must visit place.
If you like spicy misal with floating 'tarri'/'kat', then this isn't the place for it.
This is a pre-paid self service place, so it helps to order, pay and take all you want so that your meal is uninterrupted. The Gol bhaji (pakoras) were nice. The buttermilk could have been less watery.

The misal here is a combination of batata bhaji , pohe and chiwda.. they don't put any lentils or beans in it. There's rassa preparation is different and not at all spicy but lot of coconut and garlic adds flavour to misal.. served along with 2 slices of bread... Well, in Pune misal is served slice bread and not the pav.
The butter milk and the cord is made in house and tasty. मराठीत सांगायचं म्हणजे " आदमोरं दही आणि ताक ' 😋😆
Post lockdown the place underwent renovation and has come up nice. All the cutlery and seating is changed to stainless steel..
Usually crowded so anticiapte some waiting time..
PS: it's crowded for take aways in the morning so plan accordingly.. Parking is very difficult to find nearby so take public transport or be prepared to apek away and walk.
If you are fan of spicy and oily misal, this place is not for you...

One of the oldest Misal places in the city area of Pune. Fast service, and good seating arrangement. (Self service)
The normal misal is a little sweet, so you have to ask for an extra spicy gravy/tarri if you prefer spicy misal. It is served with 2 pieces of slice bread, gravy, misal mix (pohe, farsan, shev, kanda, limbu) and buttermilk/taak/chaas if you want.
(You can ask for extra bread or gravy if you want)
Recently, I visited one of the oldest misal pav joints in Pune, and I had a fantastic experience. I ordered the classic misal pav along with a buttermilk and kharwas dessert.
The misal pav was outstanding, and it lived up to the restaurant's reputation as one of the best in Pune.
Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves misal pav or wants to experience authentic Maharashtrian cuisine.

It is a Misal Gaint . You will get Puneri Misal. Misal is delicious. Complete Self Service. You need to wait in que for 10-15 mins minimum. Hygiene is maintained.
