Goan food has a lot of variety/styles of cooking such as Recheado, Cafreal, Xacutti, Vindaloo, Sarpotel, Ambotik , greatly influenced by the Portuguese and local produce. Main ingredient are red/green chillies, pepper corns, coconut, vinegar, kokam, cashews. Being a tropical climate the flavours in each dish is intense. Spicy, sweet, sour and salty. Pork, Beef, different vegetables, jackfruit and cashew curries with Poe(bread) or rice. Fish is a must in most homes.

Veg Cheese stuffed Cutlets:
Mixed veggies and cheese in a Goan masala, deep fried and crispy. Served with dips. The flavours were good,not spicy and personal I could do with more of that.
Bombay Duck Banjo :
Crispy Bombay Duck settled on a cut Poe(local Goan bun) smeared with classic mayo tartar sauce and green chatney. Absolutely delicious and wow. #musthave
Sukka Chicken Bango :
Cafreal Chicken Boneless between a Goan Poe Served with tangy veggies salad and french fries. Superb ..! #highlyrecommended
Beef Rolls :
Spicy beef meat wrapped in mashed potatoes and rolled out in vermicelli. Deep fried and crisp. Served with potato wedges and Goan salad. It was Yummmmy!Could do with a bit more of the spicy beef filling in the roll.

Prawn Rissois (Karanji/Nevri/Gujya)
Recheado prawns stuffed in a flitter and deep fried. It was melting in the mouth. Delicious.
Whiskey Sour :
Classic cocktail of lime, lemon and scotch.
Apart from the above menu I had .
Veg Shashlik Sizzler
Golden fried paneer Patty, grilled veggies, harrisa rice, chillie garlic mash, spinach, mushroom, with caramelised onions. Served with a generous portion of four cheese sauce over the patty. It was so delicious..and surely a repeat on every visit.

Crackling Walnut with Vanilla ice cream.
Signature dish at Sara Soda, and Madhuri Jadhav wanted us to have a complete contented meal. This dessert is amazing, crunchy walnuts, chocolate and vanilla…uff!! mind blowing!

It was an amazing evening, #iwasinvited. I felt the warmth of Goa with pleasurable company, music, quitness, quick servers and authentic Goan food.
