This is most oldest chat shop and taste was delicious no doubts. There is no compromise in quality
Kalpana bhel is one of the best Bhel I have ever had. It is the small thela outside Girija Hotel. We tried Oli Bhel, bhel was crispy, not too spicy not too sweet, taste was perfect. Price is 50 rupees for oli Bhel, 70 rupees for special bhel. They do have 4-5 varieties of Bhels, oli Bhel, matki bhel, spl bhel etc.
Best place where you can find good chaat items like sukki or oli bhel on tilak road. Its been a decade i am visiting this place and same person delivering same taste over the years. π
We have been going here from years now. The bhel here is brilliant and yummy. I would recommend their Oli Bhel and Matki bhel. Both of them are just awesome. I would recommend going here to have bhel once in lifetimeπ
Best spicy bhel stall since 1948 on Tilak road near Girija.
This stall is just on one side of the main road, so you need to stand and eat the bhel options(Oli, sukhi, matki bhel etc).

I didn't like taste of Pani Puri as for parcel they will store everything together i.e. Ragda, Sour and Sweet Chatni

I used to go here as a child, almost 40 years ago. Went there for the first time after that time. It's still at the same location. A roadside cart, selling excellent Bhel, for reasonable price. Although I can't claim I still remember the old taste, what I ate yesterday was still excellent. It was also served in a clean plate and with a clean spoon. The quantity was filling. One glance at the salted peanuts that they use, tells you a lot about the attention to quality. You'll find it hard to even buy such large, high quality peanuts in local grocery shops.
One other point is their focus on Bhel. They sell only Bhel (4-5 options in it). No other snacks, unlike the big Chinese restaurant style menus sported by some of their corporatised brethren. These guys have stuck and stayed true to what they do best: Bhel. Go there!
It's in one of the intersections off Tilak Road, just before the big intersection of Tilak and Bajirao Roads (towards the Alaka Talkies end of Tilak Road). It's right outside the famous Girija Snack Bar. Ample two wheeler parking on the street.
Excellent Taste for Bhel. Consistency is maintained for last 16yrs I experienced.
