I had ordered tandoori paneer tikka and paneer bhuna. Paneer bhuna has a perfect blend of sweet and spicy. You should definitely try these 2 dishes. Tandoori paneer tikka was a bit spicy, but the taste was very delicious. Paneer pieces were soft and easy to cut.
The ambience was like a traditional restaurant. Warm lights were used to give it a perfect traditional look.
Have been visiting this restaurant for quite some time now. We had the the following on a recent visit
Nachos - nachos were creamy and not overly done with veggies which is why we loved it. The nachos and cheese were fresh !
Minestrone soup - the best soup I have had in recent times. Perfectly sweet and tangy and had a very creamy taste to it.
For main course we had -
Cheese butter masala which is a chef speciality. It is paneer butter masala but with cheese cubes in it. Had a decent taste. Though it can be improved
Dal makhani - nice decent taste. The dal was rightly cooked and had a nice aroma to it
Amrapali is a good family restaurant which can be tried once in a while !

One of the best places to have Punjabi food... Punjabi food is delicious... Place is a bit small... very close tables. Chinese food is not so good..
Very Delicious North Indian and Italian dishes served. Amazing hospitality whenever I am here. Must visit. One of my most favourite places in Pune.
This restaurant is a bit tough to find for a newbie. The food here is sumptuous. Simply good on taste. Ambiance is fine. Cheese pulav is a treat for your taste buds. Highly recommended.
Fergusson College road (F.C. road) is one of the most bustling roads in Pune. Filled with street side shops and food stalls, it also houses some of the most delicious restaurants in Pune. Down a small ally we found Amrapali, and it turned out to be simply mind-blowing.
The path leading to the restaurant’s opening was set to give a very exquisite vibe. The restaurant was lit by warm yellow lights and decor that took us back to Punjab. As usual, since smell of the food is what first strikes us, this restaurant was filled with a lingering scent of butter. We were seated by very pleasant staff members and we were ready to dive into the amazing flavors of Punjab and other North Indian states. Without any doubt, our first dish was a tandoori paneer tikka platter, I mean it was very obvious at this point. Beautiful soft and creamy chunks of paneer served in a skewer, topped with capsicum and onion, it was the perfect starter. A bite into the paneer tikka and we knew this place was truly authentic in terms of their flavors. The paneer was so soft that it almost melted in our mouths and the seasoning and marinade were perfectly balanced. The starter was followed by our main course which was Masaledar Mushroom and Butter roti (with extra butter). This was, in all honesty, mind blowing. The mushrooms were cooked to perfection, the flavors of the masala were well-balanced and the buttery roti complemented the dish beyond words that can be used to explain. The main course was simple but it was made to such impeccable perfection that we kept repeating our order till our hearts were satisfied.
Amrapali is yet another gem in this Pune city and we definitely look forward to visiting again just to indulge in their authentic Punjabi flavors. They do offer other cuisines such as Italian, Chinese and other North Indian states cuisines, but we will be going there mostly for their Punjabi flavors. Its becoming a rarity where you find authentic Punjabi flavors and Amrapali offers top notch flavors.

Although the food is a little overpriced, it's one of the best North Indian restaurants in Pune. The entrance is not easily visible but one can find it on maps or by looking hard.
